Wine Break

Name: Wine Break
Nickname: Wine
Age: 15
Gender: Female
Rank: Coordinator
Birthplace: Kanto, Vermillion City
Battle Style: Likes to use strong cunning attacks. Uses status effects on enemy and focuses on speed switching quickly to strength.
Looks: Short messy caramel hair with a white streak on the right side. Bright turquoise eyes and pale skin. Wears a plain white shirt underneath a red hoodie zipper with pockets. Has white gloves and a buckskin belt to carry pokeballs. White jeans – no pockets – with double lined stripes across a pokeball design. Red socks paired with white sneakers edged with red. (Going to draw a picture later.)
Personality: Wine is filled with curiosity and is always eager to have a pokemon battle anytime in order to get stronger. While not always winning, each lose strengthens her resolve to train harder. Wine highly disapproves people who judges pokemon by their appearance and not by their skills. She tends to teach her pokemon new moves whenever possible and loves to explore new places, especially high mountains. When traveling, Wine often likes to sleep beside trees. Her goal is to see all there is to see and uncover all the hidden things there are.
History: Wine was born in Vermillion City, but spent most of her life in Pallet Town where the air was fresher. At the age of four, she traveled by ship with her parents on their way to Pallet Town. Halfway to their destination, a gigantic thunderstorm struck the ship, separating Wine from the rest. Wine was saved by a Raichu who helped her swim to the shore. Hours later, a group of men found her and took her to her grandma’s house which was located in Pallet Town. News of the sunken ship spread across Kanto stating that three fourths of the passengers onboard were safe - none in which included Wine’s parents. It was only two days after the incident had Wine heard a knock on the door and there, like magic, her parents were home safe and sound. Their pokemon had helped them find shelter and food and eventually, they found their way to Pallet Town. Wine couldn’t express her happiness.

Five years passed and Wine had forgotten about the little Raichu who had rescued her. She had ventured outside into the forest on a rainy day and was captivated by the beauty of it. As she was wandering around, she stumbled upon a lump of fur – Raichu. Seeing that it was ill, Wine secretly brought it to the pokemon center and healed it. Still not realizing that it was the same Raichu who had saved her from the unfortunate ship incident, she returned Raichu to the wild not feeling it belongs with her.

Wine also had her very first battle that day; she used her father’s pokemon and was up against her cousin. Her father had said that it was good time for battling because a good trainer has to adjust to different terrains; like when the rain stops, the soil gets muddy making your pokemon more difficult to run faster. After three years, she was going on an exploration when she heard a cry. Parting the branch of a bush, she saw a fierce battle between two pokemon. As quick as it had started it ended. A Raichu was lying on the ground while the other one was nowhere to be seen. Raichu was on the floor, not moving. Two eggs were in a grass nest close to Raichu; one cracked and one intact. After burying Raichu under her favorite tree, Wine took the egg and fled. She slept outside the night.

One the next day, her parents found her sleeping under a huge willow tree. Wine didn’t tell anyone about what had happened – she kept it a secret. She told her parents that she found the egg while exploring – that was a half truth wasn’t it? – and they agreed to let her keep it. After seeing the very brutal fight, Wine decided on becoming a pokemon coordinator instead of a trainer. From that day onwards, Wine promised to protect Raichu’s only surviving egg. Wine would always care for her new pokemon day to day and battle with other trainers from time to time. Two years after the egg was hatched, Wine left home to go on a long journey.

I can't tell if the name is serious or not. Also, it should be a Pichu, not a Pikachu that she starts with. Fix that, and I can approve the application.

Fixed. I'm accustomed to names like Wine because I used to create a lot of OCs with those kinda names ^^ plus I was never really into realistic names.
