Silver had his headphones in as he entered Elms lab. Shade sat beside him. come on silver take those off and listen to the lady. shade said. Silver took them off and powered down his mp3. "Professor Elm Silver here I was told to come see you." he called. the pokemon here are noisy and wont stop chatting. he said to silver.

There was a loud `THUMP!` as Professor Elm staggered out from round a corner holding his head. He must have been working and been surprised by the sound as you could see multiple objects rolling across the floor from the direction he'd came clearly having fallen from a desk. Professor Elm then looked over and said "Oh ummm.... Silver can't say I recognize the name but, I'm always willing to help a trainer in need which is probably why you were sent to me" he extended an oily right hand towards Silver looking happily at Shade and saying "I probably don't need to say this but, I will anyway; I'm Professor Elm. Now then what can I do for you young sir?" he used his other hand to gently stroke Shade in a way that was commonly liked among the Umbreon species; something he'd learnt through his many years of studying pokemon but, not sure if this Umbreon was like other Umbreon either way he enjoyed meeting new people and pokemon alike.

Silver looked at ShadeHe's not very organized He said to him. And he just petted me with his oily hand now I need a bath Shade complained to him. Silver turned to Professor Elm. "Officer jenny said you needed help with your research the one where you need someone to go around the regions to get you information on Pokemon." he said he was trying to be bitter but he glared at professor Elm cause He had to give shade another bath.

Professor Elm realized his mistake he'd made by the look on Silver's face and immediately stepped back "Oh god I've done it again I'm so sorry I just get so caught up in my research that I forget I'm not necessarily clean all the time from it. I work with a lot of machinery if you hadn't guessed and I'm sorry for the mess I just get so, flustered with the workload and have difficulty maintaining focus on just one subject" he realized he was rambling before getting to the point "Yes thank you I had asked her to send trainers that she saw as capable and skilled so, be proud young man" he walked over to a sink turning on the tap and washing his hands before he continued.

The Professor looked around the lab for the devices he'd built for the exact purpose eventually finding one tucked away in a drawer taking it and closing the drawer again "What is your full name?" the Professor asked as he needed to program the pokedex which also, served as his I.D. should he ever need to use it as such.

"I'm Silver Valintine From the Kanto region to be more precise Lavender." He said looking at shade he kinda smiled. you know I think it suits you He said to him. Shade glared at him shut up Silver the only reason I havent bit you yet is cause your part pokemon he said in a warning tone.

Professor Elm nodded tinkering about with the data storage device entering his name and other details so, that he could make sure it was all ready. He then closed up certain panels on it finished the calibration and walked over to Silver with it holding it out "Here you go young man, one Pokedex all ready for you" he then looked around and said "Because we have so many pokemon here we have some facilities you could use if you'd like, perhaps if you wanted to give you pokemon a wash you could use the special Pokemon Washroom that we have" he paused "Sorry again for that my fault entirely" he looked to Shade and then back to Silver running his mistake through his head again to remember for future encounters what not to do as he awaited a response from the young trainer standing in his lab.

Silver nodded Shade looked at him not wanting a bath. "sure" he said he carefully lifted him up and walked to the washroom. "thank you for all the help and it's no big deal he needed a good bath anyways." he said smiling. He put shade in the large sink and started some warm water.

Professor Elm nodded "No problem and use whatever products you need in there, we have a lot of specialist pokemon products that are available for you to use" he smiled before, heading back off to his work figuring he would leave the close pair to do what it was they had to do without bothering them.

It wasn't a long bath since he really didn't let the oil dry. He dried off shade. now you smell like roses he said in a teasing tone. Shade glared at him Your not getting any sleep tonight he said to him. Silver lead shade out. "Thanks again for the help." he called as he left making his way to route 29

Professor Elm called back from his work "No problem call me if you ever need anything ok" not really listening out for a response as he felt as though he didn't need one it was more of a statement. He smiled and chuckled to himself as he thought about the close bond that Silver and Shade shared.

Shade plugged his head phones back into his mp3 and put his hood down being careful not to rip off his umbreon ears. So you think you want a friend or two? He asked Shade who just went eh.

Many pokemon again walked around in the grass and trees nearby them some even just grazing and relaxing on the nice sunny day it was. There was cool breeze blowing by and everything was calm. Until you could hear a howling coming from nearby and it sounded as, though whatever it was, was in pain.

There was yet another howl coming from a nearby overgrown area which was surrounded by trees and it sounded as though it was from a pokemon. Then you could faintly hear the yell of a human but this sounded more like it was in anger than pain. Which came before another howl of pain from the mystery pokemon that wasn't too far away but, was hidden from view.

Silver raced through the forest using his umbreon hearing to race quickly to the sound. Shade get ready I have a feeling where gonna have to fight our way out of this one He said. Silver, I'll fight as you command He said in confidence.

Soon a trainer came into view but, the pokemon couldn't yet be seen. Until they got closer where there was a battered and bruised Houndour at the trainer's feet. The trainer then looked at Silver before saying "What you want? This hasn't got anything to do with you so get lost you hear me?" he then drove another kick into the rib-cage of the poor Houndour which was clearly younger when you looked properly at it as, it whimpered and was sent through the air landing a few feet away from the trainer.

At the sghit of the trainer kicking the pokemon he was livid. Shade guard the pokemon if he gets close tear his head off He said to Shade. Silver stepped in front of shade and popped his knuckles "If you want to do any further harm to this pokemon your going to have to get through me first." He growled.

The trainer who stood at around 6"7" just looked down at Silver and said "I told you to get lost" before throwing a pokeball up into the air and releasing a Raichu (Male - Level 18) that growled at both Silver and Shade he then said "Get lost or else" as he snarled at Silver whilst he watched him. Raichu's cheeks crackling with powerful electricity.

Silver growled back. {let me deal with this Silver[/i] Shade said growling. Silver shook his head and tossed out a Stanler. I dont know what I'm supposed to do but I'll try my best at it Stanler said. Silver wasn't one to waste time on petty threats. Stanler let's put it to sleep before we knock some sense into him. Use Hypnosis Silver said to it The orbs inside stanlers horns started to glow.

The giant of a trainer then informed "Right that's it kid I told you to get lost and now, you're gonna have to suffer the consequences. Raichu stop that Stantler double time with a Thunderbolt!" Raichu immediately grinning menacingly happy with it's opportunity to fight something. It then looked to Stantler and quickly used Thunderbolt which ripped through the air towards Stantler, the massive electric energy disrupting Stantler's hypnosis as it traveled through the air unable to reach Raichu who would never fall asleep in a battle; after all what fun would that be, being unable to teach some random do-gooder not to stick their noses in other people's business.

Stanler energy ball followed by a tackle finished with a stomp Stanler charged the energy ball then shot then ran up close behind if both the energy ball and tackle hit he would stomp the richu I dont know about this silver Stanler told him Shade still stood behind Silver growling waiting for a chance to hit something.

Raichu laughed as he used Thunderbolt again of his own accord to make the Energy Ball explode before, it hit him he then stood perfectly still, allowing the Tackle to hit this make the giant trainer laugh along with him "You fool" he said to Silver "Now how do you expect your pitiful little Stantler to take on my Raichu" he indicated towards Stantler who would have been caught by Raichu's ability `Static` which would have paralyzed it. The giant trainer then said "Now Raichu get with a full powered Thunderbolt!" Raichu charging up the power required for a few seconds before unleashing an almighty Thunderbolt upon the Stantler.

Silver forwned Stanler Return Shade Detect Silver said returning Stanler to his pokeball then sahde busting out throwing up his barrier.
