Battle Style: Due to her long-standing position as a writer, explorer, and breeder in Kanto, Bam is one of the most proficient anlylists. She always maintains a level of honor and integrity when engaging in battle, much like her father. She always maintains a semblance of respect for her opponent and is polite in combat situations. She also has a high measure of mercy, never taking the chance to brutally annihilate another battler (even when given the oppurtunity), but rather actually try to teach them how to be a better fighter; and she does not care if they're an enemy or not.

Personality: Bam's favorite food is ohagi. In her free time she feeds the Magikarp in the pond by her home's garden and also trims the bonsai there, despite lacking the artistic sense necessary for the latter. She also writes a novel series in the Kanto Communication magazine titled "Journey: Magikarp's Struggles!", in which the lead character, a cursed human who turns into a Magikarp whenever water hits her, named Kimmi, fights evil and saves innocent villagers. Kimmi's catchphrase is "No way, mister!" and is hugely popular among the children in Pewter. The serial is frequently on hiatus, but when it is in the magazine, it ranks in the top three features.

Bam is well-respected and highly honorable, and always treats those around her with respect, even those who are weaker or not as experienced as she is. As a result, she can be easily approached by others who seek favors or advice from the breeder. Due to her high moral code, Bam will never let any harm come to either her underlings or those who attempt to protect them. She refuses to give up when she believes something is wrong and will break a rule to do what is right. She is also quite perceptive, and has the ability to correctly judge people's character, as noted by her mother while Bam was still in adolescence, and knows when they are lonely.

Bam has on occasion given people strange or unwanted gifts for no apparent reason, particularly people who stick out to her in new settings or are welcoming.

Bam cries alot, but she would deny it if you asked her. Not because she's easily offended, or because she's so sad, but because she gets over excited. Often when she sees something of "particular beauty," she gets so happy she starts crying. Many times it's over food.

She refuses to fight with a child or even in the presence of a child, even if that child is an enemy or serious threat.

History:
As a child, Bam was actually tempermental and angry all the time. She hated almost everything that feel out of anyone's mouth and she would be getting into fights more than often. She hated the boring PokeAcademy her parents had enrolled her in. She found it restraining and boring, and while she did have manners and respected her elders, she hated the other rich and snooty kids who had no intentions of caring for pokemon she believed they should. So she beat them up. It wasn't until her crush came along, a tall, handsome young man that understood her anger, that she began to cool down. When they first met, he gave her a small golden pen that she still tucks into her pokebag. She always thought it was the most strange, and coolest thing somebody could do (it's the main reason she gives especially interesting people she meets gifts now). Ironically, the one person who understood and didn't mind her temper, was the one who put an end to it all together. They dated happily after he confessed his love to her, and after graduating the academy at 17 and living with him for two years, he proposed. She was extremely excited, always wanting to marry Ryo, but never having the guts to talk about it. She didn't want to scare him off. Unfortunately enough, in the end it wasn't Bam who scared him off. One day after coming home from the garden, Ryo was suddenyly gone with a simple note saying 'Explore the world. Adventure. Find me when the time is right.' She couldn't believe he would simply ditch her like that. She consulted police, military forces,  and strong bounty hunters to find her fiance, but they never found him. She couldn't grasp why but she knew in the back of her mind that it was him. It was his free will. Ryo was definitely not someone who would allow somebody to break into their home and take him away. So she tightened her belt, tied back her hair, and decided to explore. Her journey begins now, and she's going to travel the world as Ryo would. Cool, collected, respectful, and kind (hence where her current personality comes from). She was able to catch herself a pokemon but she just couldn't become compatible with it. Instead, she traded it for a man's Haunter and, very much to her surprise, it evolved into a Gengar. She put her maximum effort into trying to become friends with Chojii. She often drew small comics with him in funny situations, to get him to smile and not be as angry as he always seems to be. Through the social problems, Bam also trained hard with Chojii. They fought together with a common goal to find what they longed for: love and communion. She loves and cares for him with all her heart, and although he has a more angry personality, Bam can obviously relate and doesn't mind it much. She also started a short comic in the Kanto Communications magazine to vent her unhappiness the past year or so. But now, this is a new life. Her journey begins now!!

His aggressive behavior is particularly noticeable in combat. Despite this, Chojii is at times a caring individual, though his attempts at being kind are often offset by his aggression.

Ability: Pixilate
Personality: Rummba is a jolly Sylveon with an odd knack to talk her head off. Yes, this Sylveon can talk. She's always happy and has even stated herself she "doesn't have the ability to hate anybody." She's not a very strong fighter, and more so likes to stand on the sidelines and look pretty. Eventually, she aspires to "escape" from Bam and become a coordinator's Pokemon. This feisty little eeveelution is constantly making fun of Bam's other Pokemon and often states she can do so because she's high above everyone else in talent and looks. Prideful and a little touched, Rummba is a quirky little thing.

There are a few things I see that could be changed.
1. The first is that you state in Gengar's personality something which makes it seem he can communicate with the trainer. This isn't completely explained within the history.
2. In some places, the way that things were worded make them seem like they belong elsewhere. For example, in the battle style you state she doesn't like to fight children, whereas I think this could be better put in the personality. Another example is in the personality where you mention she was told recently she cries alot.
3. I think a bit more detail should be set in how the gengar got to its level. To me, all I really read is that she traded an un-teachable pokemon for a haunter, then it evolved, but not much about training, etc.

Kinda sounds like this needs a bit of explanation, or to just be moved, to the history.

Don't really see a connection to this in the history. Perhaps this could be used to make the history a bit more detailed instead of the pokemon's personality?

Edits made:

1. I left the gift giving quirk in her personality, but also added an explanation as to why she does so (near the top of history).

2. I decided to remove the child thing all together in Gengar's personality, seeing as it really doesn't fit into their history together and I need Chojii to be cooperative with Bam in the slightest. It just didn't msh and ultimately I don't have the personal drive to make up some silly story that messes up Bam's history to appease to that one characteristic. It's already understood that he's tempermental, so that's my final decision haha cx
