Digimon: New York Wars [Sign Up]

You thought digital gates open only in japan? Think again!
This time digital gate opened in New York, USA and from it a couple of digivices came out seeking their owners. In Digital world a huge havoc is being caused by evil group of digimon called ''Dark Emperors'' [Tactimon, Laylamon, Devimon, LadyDevimon and Myotismon] They started blocking digital gates in order to prevent communication between real and digital world, while their prime goal is to rule the whole digital world. To achieve that they started collecting the 5 Holy Elements* [Fan made items, looks something like this . So basically you can look at them as golden boxes which contain great power]. But luckily The Digimon Sovereigns managed to send a couple digivices through the last gate before it was sealed.
When Dark Emperors heard that, they started opening gates towards New York sending their minions to find the digivices and destroy them...

So thats the basic plot, hope you like it :D

Personal History: Ian had never known any of his family and for as long as he could remember he had lived on the streets, sometimes stealing food and sometimes getting it from locals however when he turned eight he got a chance that changed his life. A person in a huge limo drove along him when he was stealing an apple, the car stopped and the driver took him under loud protest from Ian. It turned out that the CEO of a huge company wanted to adopt a kid from the street since they didn't have any chance and Ian was choosen by chance. Since then he had learned how he should behave and became a very succesfull teenager allready having a big bussiness of his own only at the age of sixteen. This had changed his life and one day his father called asking him to come over. When he did his father introduced him to some important people....

Personal History: Mason grew up in Cadillac Michigan with his father and mother who were both vets he would often wait in the waiting room when he could to see the animals. he got used to the way there acted and what there body language was like so he could tell how they felt. He went to a public school and made lots of friends although there was a group of bullies that often picked on everyone him in particularly but he put up with them and would often simply out run them when he could. one day after school a week before he was supposed to visit his grandpa Melvin for a few months the bullies cornered him he started to freak out because they had looks of pure anger on there faces they started to move closer to him when something snapped and he got angry he attacked the five of them which they weren’t expect and soon knocked them all out he stepped back and studied his handy work then he snapped back to normal and felt horrible and ran home and straight to his room he thought about what happened and thought may getting away would help everything so he left his room and asked his parents if he could go to new York tomorrow they left and discussed it and decided to let him the next day he drove to the airport bought the tickets and got ready for the ride to new York.

Personal History: Every sense he was a kid due to his dyspraxia he was never good with people or sports, this lead to him being bullied in turn made him depressed, socially awkward and a shut in while this in turn made him a loner and unable to rely on anyone. He was sent to an boarding art school so he could study in what he thinks the only thing he is good at drawing. Though of his introverted personality he was never able to stand on the side lines while anything he thought was wrong which lead him to being arrested for upper-handing any criminal as a crime was being committed because he saw it most of the time as bullying being a victim of it himself he would always stick his neck out for others but never let any one do the same for him. This lead him to meeting Flamemon or Pyro, Flamemon stole a few hot dogs from a street vender, seeing this Stirling pursued Flamemon (who was wearing a cloak so nobody knew he was a digimon) and ended up getting into a fist fight with the digit on and ended up destroying the stolen hot dogs, some how during this fight a bond formed between the two of them so much of after a few days of Stirling being stalked by the dig ikon he invited it to live with him so it wouldn't have to steal food anymore.

Skills/Talents: He is able to outrun a rabbit and can kindle fire while being almost half the size of Stirling he is the same strength in his upper torso and has a reinforced skull (dude have you seen Falmemon's head). Also probably the biggest thing is that relates to Flamemon is how he becomes Agunimon....well in sort it's the same as it was in Digimon Frontier, Spirt Evolution (if this isn't allowed I'll change it)

Personality: In a nutshell Pyro and and Stirling are complete utter opposites. While Stirling would be the silent type who thinks before he leaps Pyro would run into any situation head strong acting completely irrational and acting only on animal like instinct to make his decisions. Though when Stirling loses his cool Pyro would ironically act like a voice of consensus and calm him down even though most of the time it's his fault that Stirling got mad anyway.

Personality: Ludwig is a very dangerous individual whose true objective is often hidden behind walls of lies and misdirection from Ludwig himself. Desite the fact that he can be considered evil, it is only that he is willing and capable to do every possible action to further himself. Despite this he is capable of being friendly and putting aside his own goals to protect both the Digital World and his world.

Though he often further's himself, ultimately he remains unresolved and in the grey area of where he should be aligned. Though he is kind and generous, he often abuses his own nature to fool those around him. He often flickers from serving the side of evil, to the side of good. This flickering nature leaves Ludwig to have only one true friend who understands him, that being Lopmon.

Ludwig knew Lopmon existed before the digivices entered New York. He is very happy to be reunited with him. Though he spent a brief time with him, they made a promise to meet again in the future somehow and Ludwig was overjoyed when he met Lopmon. He seems well aware of what's going on, and though he seeks to ultimately protect both worlds he isn't entirely aware how he will do this.

Despite his previously mentioned negative personality traits, Ludwig is rather silly and unassuming, often making himself out to be a joke. He is rather easygoing and open to suggestions, but is rather reclusive and stubborn when playing with the evil side. Ludwig also has a bad habit of smoking, though he seems to try not to do it around those who would rather he didn't.

Ludwig is also very fond of his younger brother, Leo. He calls Leo by his middle name, Brennen, or Brendan. He is very kind to his brother and very protective of his brother as well, though has full trust in his brother to look after himself and make the right choices for himself.

Personal History: Ludwig was born in Germany as a child to the wealthy Wolff family. The third child, Ludwig gladly lived in the shadows of his two older siblings. He was able to get away with a lot of things while he fly under the radar, even landing himself in the Digital World and meeting a Lopmon whom he promised to one day meet again. They had several more meetings, Lopmon teaching Ludwig about the Digital World. Despite this, Ludwig's life was rather average and he attended a private school until he was 18, to which he moved to America, specifically New York and brushed up on his English. He was 19 when the Digimon group known as the Dark Emperors made their appearance and blocked out the communication with the digital world. This was when Lopmon, as an egg came into New York with Ludwig's digivice. The Egg is currently in Ludwig's possession, but has yet to hatch.

Skills/Talents: Able to Digivolve to champion without Ludd's presence or usage of a digivice, however as a result Lopmon spends most of his time in his In-Training form, Kokomon to reserve energy.

Personality: Lopmon is typically reserved to himself, rarely interacting with others beyond Ludwig, whom he affectionately refers to as Ludd. Lopmon is quite willing and able to put up with the antics of others and is rather neutral in situations where Ludd does not hold any signifigant opinion, but when he does Lopmon will stay with his best friend. Though Lopmon seems to be rather reclusive, it is in truth that Lopmon holds respect for Ludd and sees that others must earn it. However, he will always give respect where due, most typically when Ludd gives someone else respect.

Lopmon is a rather kind and thoughtful Digimon, far more concerned with the needs of others than himself. Despite his innate good nature, Lopmon can become rather twisted and evil, much like his human partner. Lopmon's digivolution path is influenced by his partner's emotions, leading Lopmon to follow either a Virus or Data path. This isn't always true, as Lopmon can access either with Ludd around using the digivice. Despite his apparent need to follow his partner's lead, Lopmon can be very independant and operate under Ludd's orders when Ludd isn't around.

Lopmon spends most of his time in his In-Training form, Kokomon due to his ability to digivolve to the champion form without Ludd's presence. Sometimes he will revert further into Conomon. However, he'll typically remain Lopmon in Ludd's presence. This has lead to Ludd's consistent teasting of his partner.

Lopmon also knows more about the Digital World than he often lets onto, showing a deep wisdom to his otherwise reclusive demeanor. This was because once, in another life Lopmon played the part of Beelzemon, one of the Seven Great Demon Lords. Though Lopmon can not naturally access this form due to his ties with a tamer, should Ludd acquire the the all important Code Key of Gluttony.

Skills/Talents: Leon is incredibly stubborn and, therefore, has what one would call an immense amount of willpower to resist and ignore certain things like pain and annoyance. Fluent in German, English, and went the extra mile at the nudgings of his mentor to learn Japanese, even though he rather despises the Japanese as a whole.

Personality: Leon is a hateful little person, and definitely a hell of a kid. He's what one would refer to as being a stubborn little shit, to be specific in the phrase. He's rude, incorrect in a lot of what he says, but yet continues to act as if he's still the one who's correct. He will spend a hell of a lot of time arguing with you, trying to prove to you that what he believes is right, is right. When truthfully, he tends to be dead wrong. It's one of his biggest quirks, and has been for a long part of his lifetime.

He detests being called small. It's one of the most annoying things for him, because in his head, he's built like Atlas. But really, he's the small nerd that everyone else sees. He just won't hear it when it's told to him, however. He doesn't bond well with others, and has a hard time finding himself being polite or making friends, especially with kids his age, which he considers complete idiots.

Leon has an intense hatred for most of his family members. Especially his three older brothers. He hates the oldest and the second oldest most, but Ludwig is definitely not a close friend of his. He's rather cold toward him and tries to remain independent from him, like his Digimon does from him. He and Alphabeta argue every 5 minutes, it'd seem. They're never on the same foot, never going in the same direction, they just plain hate each other. Or do they? Leon does care for the Digimon, but he hates showing it. Same goes for the Veemon.

Personal History: As a child, he was born in Berlin, Germany, like his other brothers. Unlike the rest of his brothers, however, he didn't do much exceptional. He was actually labelled as having lower intelligence than the other kids his age. Boy were they wrong. Leon wasn't stupid at all. It was actually the fact that he was playing stupid around his family and acting moronic and, in secret, showing rapid bursts of genius by taking things apart inquisitively and putting them back together. However, at school, he was often bothered for being "stupid" as the other kids would call him. Or whatever the German alternate is. It wasn't until age 11 when he was shipped off to America to be an exchange student and stay with some relatives that he found the Digital World.

Digivice and Crest: A D-Tector. Navy blue and lavender, Knowledge.

Gender: Unidentified, but referred to as male by Leon.
Skills/Talents: Highly intelligent, capable of working most things that normal Digimon wouldn't be able to. He can Digivolve without the help of his Tamer as he prefers to be independent

Personality: Veemon is what one would call, snarky. He despises Leon by quite a lot and refuses to listen to him on many accounts, arguing with him and refusing his help, thinking himself to be too smart for the German child. He's older than what his voice makes him appear to be, even though the fact that everyone assumes him to be very young (despite Digimon not exactly having an age, per se.) Which angers him. He's smart, but it's definitely not noticeable upon first meeting.

He's a hateful Digimon, but he's not a horrible person, exactly. He's kind enough, but would be considered a tsundere if he was labelled. He's rude, mean, and crass, but still cares for both his tamer and his friends. He's highly capable of large fits of rage after losing to someone, leaving him depressed and angry for hours. But he comes out of these fits of rage smarter than ever and ready to butt heads. Like a saiyan or a majestic eagle.

His detest for his tamer has evolved to the level where he wants to, and occasionally, succeeds, in digivolving by himself to be independent. However, this causes him great strain and drains a lot of his energy, so he tends to walk around in DemiVeemon mode thanks to energy loss.

Alphabeta does not have many memories of before meeting Leon, a fact which confuses and annoys him. He will often puzzle about it quietly while people are talking or relaxing. Just sit down somewhere quiet and shady and, well, think. Nothing ever comes forth, however.

Also Kai in my opinion your digivolution line, the mega one, is Sovereign digimon which is a bit overpowered. I don't mind it, but idk about others?

Yeah I questioned this myself, but I decided that it was really up to Mystogan. It would be rather pointless to have two Sovereigns running around honestly, and the Sovereigns aren't exactly shown to die like other Digimon. After all, these are quite literately the Gods of the Gods, each of them having multiple Digi-Cores and being highly overpowered in terms of pure ability. Not to mention each of the 4 Sovereigns had 3 guardians in the Deva. But in the end it's really up to Mystogan.

Ah had to go away from my beast area then >.< But changed, Though in that case, in terms of power if Baihumon is thougth to be far to strong, Then doesn't that mean Belphemon is clearly upon the same scale, Belphemon known to be able to disintegrate any ultimate and below digimon with a single roar?

I agree I think Belphemon would be a little to terrifying and strong but mostly terrifying.

Belphemon is also asleep for 1000 years. Hand in hand even if that form is attainable the Key Code of Sloth is still required and there's an unlikely chance you'll have an awake Digimon. I personally don't expect anyone's Burst or Mega, or even Ultimate forms to have any effect on this role-play until we're quite some ways in. Whether these Key Codes even come into play is, entirely up to Mystogan.

My question is why fingers are immediately pointed at me. T_T I only did as I was advised to, as I did have to ask for a bit of help with this. It's been a while since I've seen Digimon, and even longer since I've actively participated in it, to tell complete truth.

@Kai Some slight modifications of digivolution line is allowed here, but I assume you're using Wikimon.net as your source? Well it is not quite reliable one. I highly recommend that you use digimon.wikia.com and see Salamons evolution line and if you like other cat/dog like digimon you can modify it a little bit.

Actually, in comparison to most other Digimon, specifically the other Demon Lords themselves, the only ones who are potentially in this roleplay are Laylamon (Formerly Lilithmon), Beelzemon, and Belphemon. They are literately among the weakest of the Demon Lords hands done and it would be far more concerning if someone was running around with Lucemon as their partner. Take my word for it I know my Digimon.
