The Beetle-shaped Badge [~Ian~ and Anarchy]

Combee may be fast and alert, but she's not that smart. She was lead straight to Vaporeon's trap. She looked up and her vision turned chaotic. The hasty body bash from Vaporeon's for-Combee-heavy-body pushed him far away. Combee was able to regain her balance in midair though.

Now hovering firmly, Combee's facial expression, rather, the tree small faces showed an angry one. "Combee, Bug Bite," the trainer commanded. What a surprise! Bug Bite?

Combee grinned and would swoop in quickly under Vaporeon and attempt to bite him with Combee's three small mouths.

Ian yelped in happines when he saw that the combee was hit by the attack. This is going great, was the first thought that popped into his mind, but then he could see the three angry faces of the combee and knew that they meant war. He could hear her the name of the attack. 'bug bite normally a combee doesn't learn bug bite right?' He thought by himself as he could see the combee get closer and closer, and swoop under the vaporeon and begin to bite its belly. The vaporeon yelped in suprise. ''Quick vaporeon use you're water gun and shoot it undr your belly'' The vaporeon, filled its mouth and shot again a beam under its belly hoping to shoot the combee away.

Combee is now behind Vaporeon, coming from down under him. The water attack hit nothing but the floor right below Vaporeon. Vaporeon's back is turned against the foe. This gives Combee a big advantage.

"Combee, Gust," the Trainer commanded. Again, Combee whipped a strong current of wind towards Vaporeon. He's hoping he'd catch Vaporeon off guard and off balance, so that the Water-type would be tossed away.

The thing they had tried had not worked. This was a shame he had really hoped to be able to blow the combee away with this, it was now behind him and he yelled: ''Vaporeon look out'' but it was too late. He could hear their foe command them that the small combee should use gust and his pour vaporeon was not prepated for this and when Ian could see the small wings of the combee begin to glow and blow the wind he knew it was over. Vaporeon was blown away by the gust and flew a feeet up in the air, when he landed on the ground he rolled for a little time and then hit the wall hitnig a mark on it. ''No Vaporeon'' Ian said as he ran to his pokemon and sat down. He stroked its fur and smiled as it made a weak noise. ''You did awesome vaporeon, just take a good long rest and we will go to the pokemon center soon ok?'' He said smiling as vaporeon nodded and he returned it to the pokeball. He stood up and looked to his foe as he got honedge his pokeball out and threw it in the air. In a shining blue light which reflected on his iron self the pokemon came in appearance. ''Ok honedge we will give them no time'' Ian said as honedge nodded. ''Use you're shadow claw'' He said as the pokemon hovered very quickly to the combee with a purple glowing point ready to slash.

Combee's angry faces switched to a mocking grin. Combee saw how her own winds were able to whip Vaporeon away like a ragdoll and cause the Eevee evolution to faint. She saw how Vaporeon fell on the ground and hit the wall. That looks very painful.

"One down, Combee! One down," the Lass Trainer cheered. She felt more confident now that her Combee has just taken out one of the gym challenger's Pokémon. This only means that the threat in their gym has been reduced. Blake only has Pokémon left and there's still another gym trainer for him to defeat before he could challenge the all powerful gym leader. But still, danger is out there. The Trainer just spotted that there's actually three Poké Balls' on Blake's belt. That means he still has another one with him aside from Honedge.

That and the Honedge has already sent a message by defeating the gym trainer's previous Pokémon, Kakuna.

Combee's hit with that diagonal purple line; Honedge's Shadow Claw. The Lass gave the Honedge a "getting real tired of your shit" look. "Combee, let's try Gust again," the Lass commanded, slightly angrily. Both the Honedge and Combee are Pokémon who has no feet, so this will be a fun aerial battle. Once again, Combee whips up the vicious winds against Blake's sword-creature of a friend.

''Yes it hit nice work honedge'' Ian told honedge as he could see the combee being slashed by the shadow claw attack. This was what he had needed to do earlier, you shouldn't let a pokemon that couldn't fly or hover fight a flying pokemon, that way the pokemon which would be flying would have a muc greater advantage, it would be able to dodge much easier. Poor vaporeon, if only he had noticed this sooner, he might have been able to let vaporeon do a battle on the ground with a bug pokemon later. Then it would have won maybe, and it would have gained some more batteling experience. He could see the gust coming from the combee but he knew what to do. He could see easily through the move now. ''Put the point of the sword on the ground'' He yelled as he could see his honedge hover down very quickly and lay down with the point of his sword a bit in the earth,  now the wind was just going over him. While the wind was blowing Ian looked at his other pokeball, not vaporeons but one more.

He still needed to train that one. He would do it after the gym battle cause he really wanted that pokemon to become a part of the team. The pokemon was still not that very strong but he didn't mind. He knew if he would treat and train the pokemon right, it would grow up to be very strong as he softly tapped the pokeball. By this time, the gust had worn down and honedge hovered up again into the air. ''Now let's go for something else'' He said to the honedge as it got back into the place he had beeni nbefore the gust had whipped up. ''Use Metal sound'' Ian commanded and a horrifying sound which sounded like scarping metal or fingers on a chalkboard ran through the gym, however Ian didn't mind. He loved steel pokemon and this sound was no exception for it. This sound was pretty nice. Directly when the sound had faded he gave his pokemon another oder not wanting them to get back into the race. ''Use flash canon'' He said as again four orbs of light appeared, they shot out small rays which came together at one point and then shot forward with great speed aiming for the combee. He hoped this would end it and that after this it would be all over.

The girl was amused with Ian's intelligence. She didn't realize Honedge could do that and use itself to hang on and let the winds pass through. She and her Combee soon received Honedge's reply. They both had that irritating strange chill one gets when their nails run through a chalkboard. As for Combee, it caused his Special Defense to lower down by two stages. A bright light quickly followed the annoying sound.

When the light disappeared, the trainer found her Combee on the ground. She ran towards the Pokémon to check on her. And the trainer's suspicion was correct, Combee's fainted. With a frustrated expression on her face, the trainer withdrew her Combee back to its Poké Ball where the Pokémon's body could rest until a heal. The trainer looked at Blake. "Alright, you win..." she said with a hint of despise.

''Thank you so much for batteling me'' Ian said as he bowed towards the girl. ''Hang on be back in five minuts'' He said as he returned his honedge and ran out of the gym. A few minuts later he came back and was out of breath so for a small time, he just there just breathing hard before he got a bit of breath back he began to talk to the second grunt of the gym. ''I believe you are up now am I right?'' He said as he got ready to battle again and got the pokeball from vaporeon. He couldn't wait to finish the next trainer so he would be able to fight against the gym leader. He looked at his pokeball. He wanted to do his best so his vaporeon would be able to win. He wanted just like honedge had gotten to give it a bit of exp. That way the pokemon would become stronger. After that the turtwig would be trained but not here. It would never be able to fight against a gym leader pokemon.

"Hi there! I saw you finish that girl with ease. Let's see how you do it with my Spewpa! I'm Zach." Zach sent out a small, insectoid Pokémon. It has a large, round head, which is light gray in the back with a darker gray face. There are two khaki-colored dots on its face, one above each eye. The face is bisected by a thin, black line that ends in a khaki-colored triangle at the top of the head. Spewpa have two, ovular eyes that are the same color as their facial markings, and square black pupils and no visible sclera. Its body is covered with a white furry material, and there are red, black, and cream square particles surrounding it. "Make your first move!"

Why must gym trainers be arrogant? Or perhaps, they're just overly confident.

As Ian came back he could see the person who he was going to battle next, however after this he wanted to battle the gym leader, he wanted to get that badge all for himself and move on and see if tacticus had caught a new pokemon, he got a pokeball from his belt and pressed the button in the middle of it. The pokeball enlarged in size in his hand and he threw it in the air. While the pokeball was into the air it opened and in a beam of blue light his vaporeon appeared. The vaporeon looked healed and looked ready to fight. It wanted to show that it was good even though it has lost earlier. ''You can do it vaporeon use your water gun'' He yelled as he could see the vaporeon's cheeks bubble up and shoot a strong beam of water the spewpa.

"Protect," the trainer ordered. Spewpa's eyes glow turquoise and it forms a turquoise force field around its body, protecting it from attacks. The Water Gun just bounced off the force field, like how it would against an ordinary wall. When the force field has done its job, it automatically shattered like glass. "Now, Bug Bite." Spewpa's teeth glow white and grow slightly longer. It then rushed towards Vaporeon to bite down on the opponent repeatedly while dragging its head back and forth where it's biting.

Ian wished the attack would have worked but unfortunately it hadn't. ''It doesnt matter vaporeon we can still win this'' He said as vaporeon got a determened look on his face. He then heard the opponent say that they should use bug bite. ''Dodge it vaporeon'' Ian said as the vaporeon jumped up into the air. ''Now use tackle'' The vaporeon turned into the air and headed straight down for the spewpa hoping to be able to give it a tackle.
