Tai's happy go lucky attitude towards life is sometimes seen as a hinderance to his true abilities as a trainer. He'd rather befriend his pokemon than to actually force them to fight. During battle, a force to reckon with, Tai can sometimes be called lazy. His Pokemon usually tend to be the voice of reason. He even claims to be able to understand his life long friend, Cyndaquil.
History:
Tai was born in Twinleaf Town. He grew up there, helping Professor Rowan out in the Poke'Corral. When Professor Rowan left Sinnoh prior to the events that take place in Diamon, Pearl, and Platinum, Tai left on a journey of his own, taking his father's Typhlosion's son Cyndaquil with him. Tai ventured first, through the Land of Ceylon, where he was booted from the Ceylon League tournament in the first round. Then he continued his Training Journey, entering into the Shelbyian Region. There he made it to the final round, where again he lost. Tai ventured lastly into the Serenii Region, were he made it to the finals, and was offered a Gym in the region, but he ultimately declined to further his knowledge of Pokemon. Now he finds himself ready to begin anew, leaving all his Pokemon in Twinleaf town, he brings only Cyndaquil with him to this new adventure.
