Trust is a good thing [Training Topic]

It is about 18:00 in the evening. Reikechi was atop Kazesa she was flying. He had decided to let Kazesa, which he simply called Kaze, to lead him wherever she wished. The flight had been long, and he had fallen asleep upon her back into her fur. Most likely, she was flying to a totally different region. They had been travelling over the sea. When he awoke, she was still flying. Kaze must have incredible amounts of strength and stamina to have been able to fly for this long with more weight than she's used to, he thought to himself. At least, now they had been travelling over land. This place was foreign to him for certain, he thought to himself.

Kaze had started closing herself in to the ground. It seemed that the time of landing was near. Below was rapidly passing grass. They were overseeing a wide plain. As much grass that was disappearing behind them, there still seemed to be much more ahead. Kaze steadily slowed her flight as she was getting closer to the grassy field. Eventually, it seemed that the flight was slowed quite a bit, and Kaze landed very gently without her paws making a sound.

Once they had successfully gotten to the ground, Rei found himself hesitating to pull himself away. Kaze was very warm, and he didn't want to feel the inevitable sudden chill that would come from parting from the soft warm fur. He had to force himself off of her back onto the firm soil. As expected, he shivered from the cold that seemed to rush all over him. He felt a warm tongue draw itself up his cheek.

From Kaze's display of affection, Rei realized that he had displayed a great deal of trust to Kaze by allowing her to fly him for not only so long but very far as well. He couldn't deny his trust in her now, either. Even in this foreign land that only Kaze could know between the two of them, he did not feel that relying on her would be a mistake. After all, if Kaze would have wanted away with him, she could have done many things from such a height.

"Well... I'm guessing we're not in Johto any more," Reikechi said. It seemed Kaze was confirming his guessing with a shake of her fur. "So, we've only recently met... all Pokemon have their own abilities, right? What type of abilities do you have?" Reikechi inquired.

Almost immediately, Kazesa seemed to have a glint in her eyes. She was suddenly quick on her feet, running many paces away from Reikechi. Confused, Reikechi scratched the back of his head. More quickly than she had ran away, Kaze came back toward Reikechi, and she continued into a tackle. It was Kaze's Quick Attack. Reikechi was pinned under her weight.

Even trained to fight as an Aura Trainer, Reikechi was unable to see this coming and was taken by surprise. Once more, Kaze licked Rei's cheek, leaving behind the sticky warm saliva that all canines seemed to have. He smiled submissively to Kaze. When she freed him from her weight, he made himself stand.

Then suddenly, it seemed as if Kaze's eyes had started to go into a trance. It seemed the fatigue that had been accumulated from such long flight had finally caught up to her. He assisted Kaze as she lowered her body for some much needed rest. It seemed he wouldn't be going anywhere right now, he thought to himself. Kaze was the only one who knew where they were, after all. She had no complaint, and seemed to welcome, when he leaned against her. He didn't need to leave the warmth he so praised moments ago just yet.
