Battle Style: As an experienced trainer, Tara likes to test the fighting spirit of other trainers. She may hold back purposely to do so.
Looks: Tara wears a light black jacket with a tail, collar, and a brown pouch attached to the back. The sleeves are rolled back just slightly past her elbows, and on her arms are black bracers. Around her waist and over the jacket is a red sash. She wears grey pants that tuck into black boots. She wears her hair in a long braid past her waist, with a red bead in it.
Personality: Tara is very experienced, both with pokemon and with people. Having traveled since she was of age, she has matured to a new way of looking at the world. She may not like the idea of keeping pokemon from their wild homes, but she accepts that many pokemon are much happier with trainers who love and care for them. She would even argue that participating in battles and contests is a way to bond and grow as a team.

Tara is quite carefree as well, often neglecting anything she may be doing, all to help new trainers with their pokemon. She is very kind and trusting of people whom have no history of pokemon abuse. She would lend her pokemon to those who would like to have pokemon so that they could learn raising pokemon is a very challenging task.
History: Tara began her journey after she encountered a Spinarak that her father caught her. She then traveled about. She dared not challenge gyms, for she believed it wasn't for her. She first traveled the Johto region, befriending a few of the gym leaders and several other people there, including Prof. Oak. He told Tara to visit him when she arrived in Kanto.

When Tara arrived in Kanto, she visited him and he gave her a Bulbasaur. She traveled the region, befriending a few people. She left halfway through her journey to be a Pokemon Ranger in the Hoenn Region, looking after several areas there. She bonded with her pokemon during this time and raised them to be stronger.

After Tara was finished, she traveled to Johto to release her Ariados, whom wanted to be free. Tara would allow this, and promised she would never forget him. She would then travel to the Unova region and hear talk of Team Plasma and their speeches. Curious, Tara listened but did not buy in.

She did try, but was stopped by Alder, who convinced her to listen to her pokemon like she had down before and do what she felt was right for them. She vowed to teach other trainers this knowledge and set off. She would travel around and teach others what she was taught.

Eventually though, she decided that she should challenge the Pokemon League. With this in mind, Tara set off to win.
