Act Three

Auralie was so happy that she had someone to go on her journey with. She had caught a new pokemon and a new friend all at the same time. As she walked her green hair swayed with the wind, they were about to enter the city of psychics. This was so interesting to Auralie because she was a huge fan of the city's gym leader Sabrina. "Do you think we will meet any cool pokemon or people here?" She asked Kenji as she walked forward.

Kenji was so happy that he'd be going on a journey...with a beatiful girl.

"Uh yeah. I'm sure we will." said Kenji.

As she walked Auralie could not help but to watch the people walk by. There were so many of them. Finally she seen a pokemon center that looked rather inviting, "Hey Kenji, do you want to go and rest at the pokemon center for a while?" She was tired and her feet hurt, she also knew that all her pokemon would love to get out of their pokeballs for a while.

"Yeah sure." said Kenji. He felt he needed a rest too.

Auralie trudged into the Pokemon Center and looked to Nurse Joy who took her pokemon and had them back out in a flash. "Every thing is fine with them." The nurse told her. That was a relief to her, she took the pokeballs and threw them into the air, "Alright everyone come on out! Kenji you should let your pokemon out too."

Kenji let out his Pokemon: Shuppet, Poochyena, Pidgey, Elekid, and Treecko.

Auralie watched as her pokemon interacted with his. Honchkrow didn't seem to like the situation much but that was normal for her. Roserade was interested in the pokemon as was Gible. Misdreavus only hovered beside her cuddling her. "Well at least they like each other." She said to Kenji as she watched the pokemon play together.

"Yeah." said Kenji. He looked at Auralie. "And uh...you look tired..." said Kenji.

As Kenji said this she began to yawn, "Yeah a little." She felt like she had been walking for hours. She lifted her hand to stifle her yawn and looked at a chair, "I think I might take a short nap okay?" Auralie hoped he wouldn't mind watching the pokemon for a little while she was beat.

"Sure." said Kenji. Then, he felt the urge to go behind her and start rubbing her shoulders. And that's exactly what he did. "Uh...does this help?" he said.

Auralie practically melted when Kenji started to massage her back. It felt like heaven and she had no desire for it to stop. "If you keep doing that you will make me fall asleep." She told him sitting on the chair and nodding off slightly.

Kenji kept on mesaging her back. It's been a while since I've rubbed a girl's back., he thought. He was loving every second of it.

Auralie drifted off to sleep to dream about meeting her idol Cynthia.

Kenji stopped as she drifted. Then, he kissed her forehead, hesitantly. He decided to do something nice, and carried her to a room, and placed her on a bed. He sat on another bed, and sat there waiting until she would wake.

Auralie awoke and was feeling very refreshed. She looked around and noticed Honchkrow watching over her. She got up and walked out of the room to find Kenji to tell him that they could leave whenever he was ready. Honchkrow followed her closely and was acting strangely, Auralie decided to ignore it. "Kenji, I'm up. We can go whenever you are ready." She called out to him.

Kenji himself had fallen asleep as well, in the same chair Auralie slept in earlier. He was mumbling something about doughnuts.

Perhaps it would be best to wake him up.

Auralie giggled at seeing Kenji asleep and then went over and shook him slightly. She and Honchkrow shared a look when something was mumbled about doughnuts. She then shook him harder and tried to speak to him, "Kenji, wake up!"

Kenji woke up, and saw Auralie. "Oh hi. Did you enjoy your nap? Hope you appreciate me carrying you to a bed, and removing your shoes for you." said Kenji, with a yawn.

Auralie smiled and then frowned remembering something. She had seen something in her room. She ran back at top speed trying to see if it was true, it was on the table beside the bed. A small canister ,she supposed for keeping in warmth, was sitting on the night stand. "Oh my god." She whispered to herself. There was a pokemon egg sitting on the table with a note attached.

Your grandfather left this to me right before he died and told me to give it to you when he thought you were ready. I have watched you for a while and I have liked what I seen. I believe you are ready to receive this honor of having his last egg. Please take good care of it.

Hoping you are well.


There was no name attached just the note. She could not believe that she had received the last egg of her grandfather's.

"What is it?" said Kenji, getting up. He didn't know anything about Auralie's history.

She handed him the note as silent tears streamed down her face. She picked up the container and looked at it fondly. "This is the last thing I have of my grandfather besides our, my house in Lavaridge Town in the Hoenn region." She told him still gazing at the egg.

"Your Grandfather?" asked Kenji, curious to hear her story.

"My grandfather was the one who raised me. We caught Honchkrow together when she was just a Murkrow. He died shortly after that. That is the reason that I train and battle is because that was what our dream together was." She told Kenji feeling more tears stream down her cheek. She tried to wipe it away without being noticed.

Kenji saw the tears. He wiped them away with his own fingers. "I'm sorry." he said.

He had...a few bad memories come back to himself.

Auralie recovered her senses and stopped crying. She looked at Kenji and smiled, "Well I believe that it is time to continue or journey." She walked over and took his hand and walked back toward the door leading for the exit.
