Eric’s battle style is fierce and direct. When going into battle, he uses Pokemon that have advantages against his opponent’s and he strikes them with his Pokemon’s fiercest attacks.

Looks:
Eric stands at five feet and seven inches, a height that is considered tall for his age. He has a pretty average build and he weighs around one-hundred pounds, which is considered to be under-weight for his height but perfect for his age. People his age somewhat fear him because of his height, but get over that pretty quickly when they get to know him. He has a pretty average skin complexion as well, something that he inherited from his father. Eric has big glassy black eyes, another thing that he had inherited from his father. On top of his eyes, he has thin black eyebrows and long spiky black hair that he constantly keeps spiked downward on the right side of his face, sometimes covering his right eye. He has his hair this way because he is in his rebellious stage, but he keeps it straight and combed downwards when the situation calls for it. It is also his hair or his big eyes that attract the people who are not scared of him to him. Before Eric became an official Pokemon Trainer, he trained with a Pikachu that his older brother, James (who had left when Eric was ten years old) had left with him in Pallet Town. He would wear a white T-shirt, dark blue jean shorts, pure black sneakers, and a bracelet that his brother had gave to him so that Eric could remember him. Eric shared their father's big glassy eyes with James, and they were the best of friends. After finding out that James had gone missing near Mt. Sliver at the border of the Kanto and Johto regions, Eric switched to a new outfit. This one consists of a light grey T-shirt, baggy blue jean pants, a dark grey coat with a wool coated interior, black and white sneakers, a brown belt to hold up his pants, James' bracelet, and a necklace that he had made himself that opens up and reveals a picture of his parents on the right side and James on the left side. He only opens up this necklace if he thinks it is absolutely necessary or when he needs guidance.

Personality:
Eric is very polite, caring, and caring. These characteristics are said to be his greatest strengths by both his father and his older brother James.

When he was younger, Eric considered his older brother to be the center of his world, always smiling when he was with him and he would always follow him around like a puppy. It was because of his older brother that Eric decided that his dream was to become a Pokemon Trainer. After his older brother left, he started to feel like something was missing in his life, the hole in his heart only being filled by the comfort of letters that his brother wrote to him once a month annually. After his brother disappeared however, he became spiteful of the world and was constantly depressed until on day he got a package with a Unova Region Pokedex inside of it and a Pokeball, which contained a Pikachu. The letter was written by his older brother, and Eric decided that he would one day find his older brother and bring him back home to Pallet Town.
