The beginning of an adventure! Many new friends!

The Sharpedo looked up at the trainer and his Pokemon, intimidated. Upon a closer look, one can see that the Sharpedo looked rather young, more a baby Sharpedo than a Sharpedo. It was as if the Sharpedo, or more, the Carvanha evolved sooner than it should have. Regular Sharpedo had two gill slits on its sides. However, this one only had one gill slit. In a similar manner, regular Sharpedo were, on average, five feet and eleven inches high. This one, however, was smaller, at only around a foot and six inches high. However, this Sharpedo will grow to its average height and most likely much, much bigger if it lives that long, and is taken enough care of.

Intimidated, the Pokemon backed away and growled, feeling threatened. It left an impression on the trainer's Omanyte that the Pokemon wanted to fight, although it was just an expression to warn the trainer and the Pokemon to back away. However, it seemed just as if it wanted a fight and thus, Omanyte obeyed its trainer's orders and used Aurora Beam at the Sharpedo. Acting swiftly, The Sharpedo backed further away, evading the colorful beam, that made contact with the water in a huge splash and water kicked up between the Omanyte and the Sharpedo. Anyone woud expect an attack from through the water but thats not what the wild Pokemon did. It waited. The water crashed down, once again letting there be eye-contact between the two Pokemon. After a good two seconds, Sharpedo's eyes glowed red. In an attempt to intimidate the opponent to lower its defense, Sharpedo used Leer!

The wild Sharpedo was not expecting what was coming at him. As the Omanyte jumped at the Sharpedo, it jumped forward in an attempt to dodge it. However, to its surprise, the Omanyte grabbed it with its Constrict from behind, making it difficult, or more, impossible for the Pokemon to bite the Omanyte. And Bite was the best move it knew at its current level! Luckily for the now helpless Pokemon, it had a nice ability, Rough Skin, which alowed it to voluntarily make its skin very rough, and cause damage to Pokemon making physical contact with it. Acting on instinct once again, Sharpedo activated its bility to make its skin very, very rough. Most probably causing damage to the Omanyte who was basically wrapped on Sharpedo's backside. Struggling to get free, Sharpedo shook violently while keeping its ability activated, trying desperately to break free so that it can attempt to bite its foe. It continued underwater, not necessarily using dive, it was just swimming underwater like most water Pokemon are capable of doing.

As the Omanyte leapt back, the Sharpedo yelped and jumped forward, relieved that he was finally free from the Omanyte's tentacles. However, his relief was short-lived as he turned around only to see another Aurora Beam headed towards him. This time, the Pokemon was not as lucky as it had been before. Panicking, it hesitated to move in either direction and stood in one spot, resulting in it taking a hit. It was very hurt. Scared now, it backed away and snarled at the Omanyte, its eyes glowing red, using Leer once again.

Even though Kouhei's approach was a caring one, that was not how most Pokemon worked. They had to be contained in Pokeballs the first time, or they could not truly be owned. The trainer had to possess some kind of super power or something of the sorts to control Pokemon without using Pokeballs. Unless the Pokemon was super friendly, or the trainer had this kind of rare talent, there was no other way to capture Pokemon. And Sharpedo was not friendly. As the trainer approached the shark Pokemon, it growled a little and backed away, roughening its skin once again. It was definitely weak. Would the trainer keep trying to somehow tame this shark? Or would he do the normal thing and use a Pokeball?

Too weak to act swiftly, the Sharpedo was pretty much helpless as the Omanyte struck him really hard with a critical-hit Aurora Beam. Before letting out a ear-splitting screech of pain, Sharpedo's eyes made a spiral-like shape and Sharpedo fainted from both exhaustion and breathtaking pain. Floating on the sea now, the Sharpedo could do nothing. Using a Pokeball on a fainted Pokemon was somehow not the ideal thing to do, and besides, the Sharpedo may not survive long in the wild, being damaged so much and all. Will you take the Sharpedo with you to a Pokemon Center, or leave the fainted Pokemon behind and proceed to look for different wild Pokemon?

 The nurse took the Sharpedo and walked inside. After a few minutes, the lady came out but there was no Sharpedo with her. She called Kouhei to the counter and explained, "This Sharpedo.. It had evolved a little earlier than it should have. It has a rare condition. You see, right now it is somewhat small for a Sharpedo, don't you agree? However, this Sharpedo will grow larger and larger in size as it gains experience and by the time it gains enough and cannot gain anymore, he would be enormous. I assure you that he would be at least thrice the size of a normal Sharpedo. He will be the size of a normal Sharpedo by the time he  gains around.. say, enough experience to learn Aqua Jet. By the time he learns Night Slash he will be twice the size of a normal one and by the time it gains no more experience, it will be thrice the size of a normal one by the time it gains the maximum amount of exp it can gain. Normal ones are around.. five feet eleven inches big. Yeah. This one's gonna be big. Are you sure you want to keep him? We can take care of him if he is a little too much for you. If you're wondering why he might be a burden, this Sharpedo has a very delicate bone structure as of now and could easily be injured. The problems will go away by the time he becomes the size of a normal one and the bones will only grow stronger as it grows bigger. " The nurse confirms your suspicions with a little twist.
