A New Beginning for a new Duo

Gastly quickly would attempt to maneuver most of the Tackles being freaked by how this pokemon was not effected by his scariness "Gastly?" He questioned, As Litwick had other plans.
getting close enough it had sat under the pokemon that was floating and decided to burn it with it's flame. "Litwick!" he said deviously.

At this, the Musharna awoke with a jolt. It nearly jumped up in the air, then recovered and glared at Litwick with angry eyes. It began to lash out with Psybeam attacks; enraged by the sudden burn that was inflicted upon it. It was also angry by the fact that it was so rudely woken. Dream mist began to cover the clearing, making escape nearly impossible through the thick pink smoke.

Yurei kind of got worried about the situation but was sure the two could do it, having confidence in his team. The Litwick was hit, due to being in point blank range stumbling around after being hit with the move. Gastly couldn't bare to see his partner take another hit like that, quickly reacting by guarding his partner and using mean look on the Pokemon "Gas!"

The Mean Look attack worked, as the Musharna was now unable to run away. The large Pokemon attempted to try and get Gastly to fall asleep with a Hypnosis attack. Obviously, it was acting on pure instinct. Its eyes grew rather large and menacing with the Hypnosis attack, and it began 'beaming' its eyes at Gastly.

Gastly being caught in the Musharna's view attempted to close it's eyes but felt rather sleepy slowly falling to the ground "gas...gas...gas...." He said as he slowly went to sleep, Litwick got back to his sense's and quickly used Astonish to try and air it's partner quickly, seeing the two were in some what of a pickle He had to act fast or the two were going to get hurt badly here.

The Musharna seemed to look more relaxed as Gastly gradually fell asleep. Perhaps it was just frightened? The wild Pokemon attempted to try and escape. It began to exert the same pink smoke from earlier in a 'Smokescreen' like effect.

(i should have read that over, i have a few typo's where it said's air, i meant aid. Also did the pokemon dodge Litwicks astonish? o.o or I'm assuming you thought it said he had use it on his partner, then alright I'll play with it.)
Gastly Quickly awoke from it's small slumber seeing as the Pokemon was attempting escape, Gastly directed it's partner to return to Yurei, while it handles the situation attempting best it could "gastly?" he questioned. Litwick nodded and followed orders. Running off to fetch Yurei, Gastly was left with finding the Pokemon in this somewhat of a smoke screen but phasing threw it with search "Gas...." he said focused on what he was looking for.

(XD My bad. I didn't realize the Astonish was for Musharna.)
The Musharna was using its abilities as a Psychic-Type Pokemon to find its way through the smoke. Eventually, it realized how close Gastly was, and immediately attempted to try and retreat. It floated around, looking at the surroundings for a better location to escape to. All the paths appeared to be 'guarded' by enemies, so it was trapped in the middle of the smoke. A gust of wind started flying in the area, causing the smoke to clear away.

Gastly looked around dazed by the smoke, but would not give up. As he looked some more a gust of wind had blew away the smoke, wondering what could it possibly be. Gastly looked around to scout what could have been the source of this great wind. Spotting the Musharna "Gastly!" he shouted as he rushed over to it, deciding a new approach. Gastly decided to attempt in speaking to the pokemon instead of rash action "Gastly gas, gas gas Gastly?" He questioned in friendly tone.

The Musharna seemed to panic when it realized that it was spotted, but calmed down once Gastly spoke to it. The Musharna listened, then decided that the trainer and his Pokemon were not a threat. The smoke instantly cleared, and there were no more attacks from the Musharna. It hovered up to Yurei with a hopeful expression.
"Sha, musha." It seemed to be attempting to apologize for its actions earlier.

Yurei back up a little, startled but seen it was being peaceful. Then he had seen Gastly with a smile "Gastly gas" Said his partner as he floated over to Litwick who was very worried for his new friend "Litwick lit!" He said in a content voice. Yurei smiled and offered the Musharna some food and asked it to come along to help out the ranger.

Claire appeared sometime later with an Ursaring following her.
"Oh? You've managed to calm the Musharna. Nice job! I didn't think you had it in you," she mocked with a smirk. She pet the Ursaring behind her with a kind smile.
"Look! You're Musharna friend is here. Go play with her!" The Pokemon nodded, and ran over to the floating Pokemon. The duo started to chase each other around the clearing, both laughing as they did so.
"They act a lot like babies."

Yurei smiled and chuckled kind of rubbing his head to what the ranger had said "haha...yea we were amazed ourselves we did it right guys?" he questioned his Partners. "Gastly!" Gastly replied "litwick!" He jumped in a bit of joy, Gastly then began to follow the two playing with each other wanting to join"Gastly, gas gas" He said playfully following. Yurei could only chuckle "haha it's still adorable" he then turned to the Ranger "so is the path clear, am i good to go?" he questioned Excited for the road ahead.

Claire shook her head.
"Unfortunately, there's still one more Pokemon we have to find and retrieve. This one will require both of us, and it will definitely be a lot harder than getting the Musharna or Ursaring. Do you think you're up for it?"
Her tone was no longer the teasing one; it was serious.

Yurei placed his hand's behind his back "how hard can it be?" he questioned with a bit of a cocky attitude "me and my partner's got spirit, we won't give in so easy bring it" he smiled prepared for whatever was the task "Gastly gas!" Gastly commented. "Litwick lit!" Shouted Litwick with much energy. The three were Ready for another challenge.

Claire grinned with a scoff, then replied, "Alright, then. Brace yourselves."
She told them to follow her with a flick of her hand. Moving through the forest only took a few minutes Claire hadn't walked for much. Once they reached their destination at a lake, Claire stopped and motioned for Yurei to be quiet. She peered through the growth of a bush and saw a very wicked-looking Tyranitar.

Yurei peeked threw quickly seeing the Pokemon "whoa, that looks tough" he said a bit astonished "but i think we can manage" he whispered "any ideas?" he questioned as he was thinking of a few but wanted to get the ranger's opinion first before taking any action.

"Well, I know that the Tyranitar is extremely strong, but has low stamina. If we can keep him occupied for long enough, he'll eventually faint from exhaustion." Claire quickly whispered, trying to make sure the Pokemon didn't see them, yet. She looked at Yurei, then tilted her head towards the Tyranitar, as if to tell him to go first. Claire held up the Wynaut from before, explaining that she had to get the Pokemon to safety.

Yurei nodded and walked out slowly sneaking around it, Gastly on the other hand took a direct approach passing by it's head and making fun of it, then floating off in a direction away from the ranger "alright he's gonna try to tire him out" Yurie noted Claire giving her a sign of okay.

Claire seemed to understand, and immediately placed the Wynaut in a hole in a tree. Inside were some Ratitcates inside and Claire captured them using her Capture Styler, asking them to watch the Wynaut. Back on the event on hand, Claire noticed some Vulpixes nearby and captured them as well, trying to help Yurei anger and tire out the Tyranitar.

Yurei smiled in seeing she understood the plan and hid away. As Gastly began to work his ghostly charms, He wondered if he was actually luring the Tyranitar away. Floating back a bit to check on the Pokemon, to know whether or not it was trailing him "Gastly?" he questioned curiously.

The Tyranitar had started to thrash around in anger once Claire and Gastly began to tease the Pokemon. It charged after Gastly, destroying fields, tearing trees, and stomping as it did so. Claire used the Vulpixes to keep the Tyranitar angry with small Ember attacks. They did no damage but annoyed the Pokemon, so it would continue to flail its arms at the Vulpixes to no avail.

Gastly took one more route of annoyance to the Pokemon as it used spite to frustrate the Pokemon to a point where Gastly knew he had to flee from the area, Quickly jetting towards Yurei "Gastly, gastly gastly gas!" he explained. Yurei was kind of confused but nodded and followed Gastly. Giving Claire a signal to follow as well "I'm not sure what's wrong but he says to follow" He explained.

Claire decided to follow Yurei, not understanding what the Gastly wanted. When she had caught up to Yurei, she asked,
"Any idea what it wants?"

Meanwhile, the Tyranitar had begun to show signs of fatigue. It stopped stomping so loudly and was thrashing less.

Yurei confused, but having an idea responded "i guess evacuation might be key, remember Tyranitar know's Earthquake and in any last resort of full rage, could use it" he explained. "thanks buddy, now go, we'll get to safety" Yurei said as he turned to Claire "so any idea's of a safe place to where we can go and return?" he questioned as Gastly went off to finish up the ware down of the Pokemon, floating near by it sticking it's tongue at it, Merely playfully teasing it.
