04\05\2013 - Tasha Lucenda - SaxAppeal - Izzy Sterling

A stranger ran over to Izzy. "Izzy, there's a new bounty," she yelled, handing the trainer the paper before running off.

Izzy was kind of confused. Upon reading the paper, however, he determined that Trainers could hunt down and bring in criminals. "Hm... sounds fun, Elekid. We're searching for some lady in a trenchcoat. Keep an eye out." Elekid nodded, and began to scan their surroundings. Now wandering aimlessly, Izzy was hoping they'd catch a glimpse of Tasha, although her Pokemon sounded powerful.

Tasha was watching Izzy as he walked, taking careful notes of where he was going, and where he seemed to be going off too. Thinking that he wouldn't be much of a threat, she walked into the local pokemon center, hoping to stay there in hiding until the trainer went elsewhere.

Elekid's stomach growled, and he began waving his arms. "Yeah, yeah. I'm hungry too. The PokeCenter has food, let's go." Izzy turned, and started walking leisurely towards the Pokémon Center.

((I'm not meta-gaming, I swear. :P ))

Tasha knew that when she saw the trainer enter the pokemon center, that things had a more than likely chance to go south. "I guess that I'll have to be careful," she said to herself, slipping behind one of the plants in the center. No one else seemed to really be paying any attention to her. "Yes, is there something that you need,' the nurse asked the trainer as he/she approached.

Izzy walked up to the Nurse, almost entirely having forgotten about the Hunt. "We'd like some food for the both of us, please!" Elekid began pulling at his pant leg, pointing to the picture of Tasha in Izzy's hand. "Oh, right! Hey, we're looking for this Trainer, they're a dangerous criminal, or something. Have you see them anywhere?"

"I haven't really seen anyone," the nurse said ot the trainer. "Either that, or I've seen so many people that I don't really remember faces that well." She didn't notice Tasha watching Izzy, grinning a bit since no one seemed to know where she was.

Izzy deflated a little. "Okay. I guess I'll just have some food, then..." Izzy wasn't really surprised, a Pokemon Center was an odd place for a.criminal to be, anyway. Then, Izzy had an idea. "Come on out, Duskull!" The Pokemon seemed rather bored. "Hey Duskull, could you do me a favor? While me and Elekid eat, could you search this place for an indication that this lady was here?" Izzy held up the picture for Duskull to see. If Duskull could talk, he would have called Izzy an idiot. From Duskull's vantage point, Tasha was clearly visible behind the tree. Doing his best to signal in that direction, Duskull was barely able to get his point across. "What? Over.. there?" Upon catching sight of Tasha, Izzy felt ridiculously stupid. He had literally walked right past her. He stood still for a moment, not sure how to deal with her while all of these other Pokemon and people were around.

Tasha looked at Izzy. "He knows I'm here now," she said to herself quietly. She pricked a berry from the bush, and she stood up, walking towards the trainer. She knew that she had cut her hair, so she didn't look much like herself in the image, that being that she also had contacts in. "Hey there. Would you perhaps like a berry or two," she asked, holding a berry out to the trainer. "They're quite common, as are fashion statements. Didn't you hear these new dusters are quite the fancy for someone?"

Duskull began his odd humming again, something he'd only done when that Trevor guy had been around (Check the early part of the Pewter thread, Duskull is... quirky.) He'd gotten an odd vibe from Trevor, but if this really was Tasha... Izzy took the Berry, and played along. He rolled it around his hand for a moment before saying, "Unless I'm very much mistaken, ma'am, dusters are more of a cold weather thing, aren't they? Eh. I will admit, it looks rather nice on you. Maybe if your hair was a little longer..." Izzy knew he had to handle this smoothly, and be prepared for an offensive at any time. It was a shame Duskull couldn't attack very well. Elekid would have to handle it. Speaking of which, he handed the Berry to Elekid. He'd need the energy.

Tasha looked at Izzy. "I don't need long hair to look decent," she said, playing the part to make the trainer believe she wasn't the person he was looking for. "And, well, it's never too cold to have a jacket you know. I've seen plenty of trainers with one during springs and summers." She turned then, bidding him farewell and leaving the pokemon center.

Izzy was in a bit of a pinch; if Duskull was right, confronting her in the open would be ideal. If not, he'd probably lose the real Tasha, since she'd know he was looking for her. Izzy recalled Elekid and Duskull into their Pokeballs, then sprinted outside. "Hey, miss! Before you go, I'm looking for a dangerous Trainer, she goes by Tasha Lucenda. Here's a picture of her, have you seen her anywhere? I feel like I've seen her nearby, but I can't quite remember where." Izzy handed her the paper, and slowly drew out Elekid's Pokeball. He'd have to trust Duskull in this.

Tasha looked at the paper. "I'm not exactly sure," she said to him, looking the information on the paper over. "I don't think that they have the location correct though. I've personally been to these places and more, and I haven't been seeing anyone that looked suspicious." She shrugged, handing him the paper back before speaking again. "I'm sorry I can't be of more assistance.'

"Actually, you could be. You see, my Duskull seemed to think YOU were Tasha Lucenda. I've decided that the least I could do is give him the benefit of the doubt. Would you mind coming to the station with me and having your prints checked? I really hate to inconvenience you like this, but I have to be sure." Izzy knew that if she was Tasha, this battle was going to be extremely difficult, and they might not even win. But he sure was going to try.

"Um, I can't," Tasha said to Izzy. "I'm not exactly from here. They wouldn't have anything to prove I am who I am even if I wanted them to have it," she said to him, smiling a bit as she started walking away.

"That's not a big deal. It's less of a proving who you are, as it is proving who you aren't, which is much easier without information. I'd really appreciate it if you came with me. I really don't want to have to tell the officers I found someone who COULD have been Tasha, and let them get away." Izzy was hoping he didn't have to get rude, but he knew Elekid wouldn't mind, and he was about three seconds from letting him loose.

"So now you're harassing me," Tasha said to Izzy. "You know how rude that is? You could be arrested for harassment." She left Izzy be, taking a few turns to hopefully lose him.

Izzy gritted his teeth. He wouldn't be able to follow her very easily, but Duskull, on the other hand... "Go, Duskull! Follow Tasha. Don't let her get away." Duskull whisked off, and Izzy chased after, now with a Pokeball in each hand; one to recall Duskull, should things get dangerous, and one to release Elekid, for the same reasons.

Tasha could hear the pokemon following her, her gritting her teeth a bit in exchange. "get away from me pest," she growled to herself.
