COMPLETE - 04/05/2013 - Kaiser Rane - Mattfang - Fang

An excited youth ran up to Fang with a paper in his hands. "Did you hear?" he asked, "there's a new bounty, and sighted here no less! And this guy seems slippery!" He handed Fang the paper with the bounty information, then ran off, excited to tell other bounty hunters.

Fang looked at the stranger running off, blinking a couple of times. "Too excited," he questioned to himself. He decided it was worth a shot, and he let his pokemon free from its pokeball. "Alright, let's chase this guy," he said to himself. "I'm just glad I left my bag in the inn today... Less weight to run with should a chase occur." He started walking around after he read the paper. "Scarlet hair and completely black outfit. Not too hard. Let's try the pub," he said, walking towards the pub with his druddigon Draco.

Sure enough, sitting at the bar was Kaiser, who seemed to be enthusiastically telling a story to the person next to him, who had passed out long ago. He didn't look at Fang with any suspicion, but his eyes did dart around the room every few moment, observing everyone.

Fang walked over to Kaiser. "Sounds like you've had a fun adventure," he said to him. "Mind telling me your journey? Sounds interesting to me."

"Adventure?" Kaiser asked, taken aback. "If you're looking for kid stories, you've come to the wrong person. Go scurry away and read a child's book if you want an adventure." His words were slightly slurred, whatever he was drinking has taken some small effect. His eyes gleamed with suspicion as he looked at Fang.

"I'm not looking for a story of a child adventure," Fang said to Kaiser. "But I am looking for someone named Kaiser to ask about a story that I heard from someone else," he lied.

"I don't know any Kaiser," Kaiser replied, running a nervous hand through his hair. "But if I did, I don't think he'd let anyone spread one of his stories to an untrusted stranger," he chuckled, "you wouldn't be untrustwrothy, now would you?"

"Of course not," Fang said to Kaiser. "I'm completely trustworthy. I'm just willing to listen to a good story."

"Well, I could tell you where he may be if you want," Kaiser said, attempting deception, as he didn't trust anyone he didn't know. "Last I checked, he fled to the next town already."

"Hm, sounds interesting, Kaiser," Fang said to him, not wanting to spend much time on this game. "Scarlet hair, pure black outfit, and drunk as if there is no care in the world." He grabbed Kaiser's hands, and he attempted to tke him to the floor and binding them.

Kaiser striked out with a punch aimed straight at Fang's jaw. His other hand reached for a ball on his belt, and he released a Zangoose, who attempted to slash out at Fang's hands to get him to let go of Kaiser.

Fang screeched as his hands took a good blow from the other pokemon. "Draco, bite," he yelled, his pokemon rushing at the opponent.

"Metal Claw!" Kaiser exclaimed, and his Zangoose rushed at Draco to try and counter the bite. When Fang lost his grip, Kaiser wriggled away, and started dashing toward the door. No one else in the pub tried to stop him.

Fang wasn't about to let Kaiser get away, and he immediately jumped up. "Get back here," he yelled, chasing after him and letting Draco avoid the incoming attack to follow. "Draco, slash," he called, and his pokemon jumped towards Kaiser to hopefully slice him in the back.

In a flash of red, an Absol appeared, and blocked the incoming Slash with his horn. Kaiser continued to run without looking back, and the Absol remained, blocking Fang from following. Zangoose caught up, but ran after his master.

"I'm not letting you get away," Fang called after Kaiser. He started chasing him down, his pokemon following after him. He idn't want to battle, even though it would give him experience in battling. He was more focused on capturing the criminal and getting the prize at the end.

Absol ran along Fang, and tried to tackle him. Kaiser seemed affected by his drinks, because he hadn't made it very far. He was still easily in range of Fang, and stumbled or fell every few steps.

Fang turned his head, looking at the pokemon that was about to tackle him and ducking down so it would go over him. THen afterwards, he chased Kaiser and tackled him.

Kaiser was tackled. "Unhand me!" he screeched, "Y-you have the wrong person!" His attempts at defeat weren't very convincing in his intoxicated state. His Absol quickly caught up, and along with Zangoose, they tried attacking Fang to get him off of their master. They would have to be subdued somehow (doesn't necessarily mean a battle) if he wanted to bring Kaiser in without a lot of bodily harm.

Fang looked at the two pokemon incoming for an attack. "Stop," he called. "I have some food for you guys. Possibly a few rare candies too," he said to them. "I'll let your master have them to give to you if you go back into your pokeballs like good friends. I'm just playing a friendly game of tag," he then lied.

Zangoose looked intrigued, but Absol gave him an apprehensive look. "Don't you dare!" Kaiser exclaimed in a slur, causing Absol to snarl. Zangoose, however, still looked interested.

"Look, your master is drunk," Fang said to the absol. "I have to take him somewhere so he can get help before something major happens. I do have rare candies," he said, pulling a couple of rare candies from his pocket. "See, right here. If you two go into your pokeballs, I'll give these to him when he is better so he can give them to you," he said to the two pokemon.

Absol wasn't buying it, and let out a bone chilling snarl. He took a few steps toward Fang, baring every one of his sharp and deadly teeth. Zangoose looked at the Rare Candies thoughtfully, then at his trainer. He gave Fang a quick look saying, you can have him if you give me them now.

Fang tossed the rare candies to the pokemon, picking up Kaiser and starting to rush off without letting the absol even blink. He started heading for the police department, hoping to get there with the help of his pokemon so he could get the reward.

Zangoose caught the candies with a grin, and shoved two into his mouth. As Absol ran after Fang, Zangoose suddenly tackled his fellow Pokemon to give Fang a chance to get away. The two launched into a brawl, and left Fang home free. That is, if Kaiser's elbowing, screaming, swearing, and kicking weren't having any affect on him.
