"Lets rock!"-introducton/prolougue

"Man things are really getting boring around here. Who would've thought those words would ever leave my mouth?" Dante said sitting at his desk. Shortly after he said that, his front door opened and revealed a strange creature of some sort, it looked like white dinosaur with pinkish markings. Wait dinosaur? Of all the things Dante has seen, this was nothing like he had seen before. A dinosaur? Dante looked at his clock, it read midnight, looked back at his door and nothing was there and the door was closed. Like it never happened. He looked back on his desk at empty soda cans and a pizza box with one last slice. "Ok so appeareantly soda+pizza at midnight, you get acid..... Weird. Eh its probably nothing I mean dinosaurs? Pfft yeah right." Dante reached for his last pizza slice and before he could take it a giant white foot with pinkish markings comes down and stomps the pizza flat. Dante looked up at what the foot belonged to and it was the same dinosaur, or at least it looked like one. He couldn't see its face ".......Stomped my pizza..... Alright I don't exactly like that at all, but I guess you probably wanted my attention, well you got it now! Time to go to work!" He exclaimed while reaching behind him for the sword he carries on his back. As soon as he pulls it out, the dinosaurish creature gave a loud roar."URGH! D**n THATS LOUD!" The creature continued roaring and soon Dante's eyesight started to darken until it was completely pitch black and was knocked out"Urgh....you....."

When Dante reawoke, he found himself on what seemed to be a walking path, or road of some sort, with nothing but tall grass around it. "ugh... Man that was a weird dream, no more pizza at midnight for me.....wait a minute... What in the name of Sparda is this place? I don't remember leaving my house at all." Dante looked around and saw nothing but tall grass at first then he spotted a sign a couple of inches away from him. He walked up to it to read it. " "Welcome to Unova?" Where the heck is Unova? I never heard of this place before. Theres more to it. "Warning, those without a pokemon stay out of the tall grass! Wild pokemon can attack at any time!" What in the name of Sparda is a Pokemon?" Dante stood there scratching his head. He then realized he was holding something in his hand. He must of held onto it when he was knocked out but there in his hand was one last slice of pizza, surprisingly still warm and fresh. "Eh might as well, I can't be walking around with this thing in my hand all day." He held it up to eat it, just then what looked like to be a small black bird swooped down and snatched the pizza out his hand. "HEY! What the heck?! Dante reached in his pocket for something, but they weren't there."Crap ebony and ivory are probably still left at my place! But something about that bird seemed weird.... Eh whatever, whining ain't going to solve anything, better find out where the heck I am. This road has got to lead somewhere" Dante followed the path and on the way there he noticed weird creatures in the tall grass, each one seemed weirder and weirder. One looked like a pig on fire, a monkey with a hand on his tail, a rodent generating electricity, a caccoon with eyes, a raccoon with zig-zag patterns on it. "Is that what the sign was talking about? This is.... interesting." As he walked further he got closer to a town, and it seemed a lot of younger teens were rushing out away from the town, each one had a creature similiar to the ones Dante kept seeing in the grass, "Guess kids will want anything for a pet." He soon saw two of these people staring against each other while watching, two of these creatures fight. No not watching, it looked more they were giving them commands. "..... Thats something you don't see everyday, then again neither has anything I've seen today."

He finally reached the town, another sign read "Welcome to Nuvema Town." "Maybe I'll get answers here. I'll ask around, maybe find out more about these "pokemon" i keep seeing." He started to ask people around the town, but whenever he asked about Pokemon people would look at Dante like he is insane. "Man these people are weird." He couldn't gather any kind of information from them. He eventually found a policewomen, her badge read "Jenny". Dante explained to her that he wasn't from around this place and he wondered why everyone gave him weird looks when he asked about pokemon. The officer explained to Dante about pokemon and gave him directions to a research facility, she told him that a professor named "Oak" who was working with another profeser named "Juniper" would explain more about pokemon to him. Dante followed the directions and met up with Oak.

The first thing Oak said that shocked Dante was "Good to see you, Dante, The son of Sparda is the last person I'd expect to come to Unova." "How does he know my name? And my father?" He never told anyone in the Unova region about himself and Oak was the only person that knew about Dante. Oak then explained to him about pokemon, and also told him about the pokemon league and the gyms. Dante didnt have much to do at the moment back home, he decided to explore around the Unova region. With a grin on Dante's face he said "this place is starting to grow on me. This all sounds interesting. Allright then LETS ROCK!" The old man Oak then handed him a poke ball, "I think you'll get along well with this little one". "Hm? Whats this? A poke ball?" "Take good care of him now, you might also need these if you are taking the pokemon league." He then handed him a pokedex, 5 empty pokeballs, and Unova currency. Dante opened up the first pokeball he was given and out came a pokemon known as "Riolu" Dante's pokedex beeped and it showed on the screen all of Riolu's abilities. Oak then said"I'll have you practice your very first pokemon battle with my grandson so you can ge the hang of it" he then yelled "Gary!, come on down! And bring one pokemon with you!" Down the stairs walke a young main with brown hair holding a pokeball, he sent out the pokemon in it... The pokedex the scanned and showed it was "Eevee". "Alright then, time to go to work!" Dante grinned.

"Alright. You think you're good? C'mon outisde to the backyard, we'll prove your strength out there" said Gary. His Eevee fallowed him outside. Oak nodded nervously. "Ehh heh. You better fallow him out there." he said.

"Right then, to the backyard." Dante follows Gary outside in the back of Dante's mind he thought to himself "I don't think I'm good kid, I know I am. That is what I wanted to say, but eh, hes a kid, I'll take it easy on him." Dante walked outside and there Gary was waiting, with his Eevee. Dante looked at his Riolu,"I think i outta give you a better name, I'll call you Alastor". The pokemon smiled as if it was in agreement. Dante looked back up, "Alright kid, we going to get started or what?"

Gary smirked. "Ha, Yeah! But I gotta warn ya, I'm a pro!" he said. He signaled for his Eevee to get in battle formation. "Send out your Pokemon!" Gary said.

Dante's thoughts went into his mind and kept them quiet, "is this kid blind? My pokemon is out. Gah whatever just go with the flow Dante, just go with it" Dante then signaled Alastor to get ready, and he obeyed, ready for battle.

"Alright Eevee, use Tackle!" said Gary. His eevee went in to tackle the Riolu.

Dante watched as the Eevee rams straight into Alastor, pushing him back but managed to keep his ground. "Allright Alastor, use Force Palm!" Alastor then charged forward with a blue light glowing from his hand "Amazing, he just got rammed into like a football player and just keeps on going." Dante thought in the back of his mind.

Eevee got hit with force-palm, and got angry. "Use Shadow Ball!" said Gary.

Eevee formed a Shadow ball and threw it at the Riolu.

"Something tells me thats not a beach ball Alastor, get out of the way!" Alastor then jumped to the right and the ball missed. The ball kept flying and eventually hit something causing an explosion, he thought he heard a faint sound of someone complaining."heh its not important right now." Dante took a quick look at Gary's Eevee, it seemed rather angry. Dante then got an idea. "Alright Alastor, use Double team!" Alastor then seemed to create a bunch of duplicated Riolus around Eevee.

Gary said "Eevee! Don't let that old trick fool you! Shadow ball!".

Eevee looked confused. He threw shadow balls at any image he thought was the right one. He hit wrong one after another. This could be the perfect moment to strike for Riolu.

"heh its working. Alright Alastor use Quick Attack!" The other Riolus dissappeared and the correct one was right behind Eevee, Alastor then quickly charged forward at high speed towards the confused Eevee.

Eevee got hit by Quick Attack. He was still standing, but weak. "Counter that! Quick Attack!" said Gary.

Eevee went in for an attempt in quick attack.

"Heh I had a feeling you would do that, Alastor use counter!" Right when Eevee ran into Alastor, Alastor gave a quick charge forward against Eevee.

Alastor collided with Eevee, and Eevee fainted on impact.

"Hmph. Well, I guess for a new guy you're pretty tough. Nobody hasn't beaten my eevee since...Red was here." said Gary. He recalled Eevee and gave Dante the prize money.

Dante recalled Alastor and went to thank Oak for everything, then dedided to head on out to the next town following his map. He decided to get there through route 1.(ok more like thats the only way but whatever)

As he walked down Route 1, a bird-looking pokemon landed on a neardby treebranch and stared at Dante. (Pidgey).

"What are you looking at birdbrain?" Dante walked on forward ignoring the pidgey "not interested."

The Pidgey suddenly flew away...because a Spearow swooped down, squawking at the top of it's lungs at Dante.

"Sorry polly, but I don't have any crackers for you." Dante teased as he jumped out of the spearow's way. "Flock off feather face or you can stick around and find out the hard way!"

Spearow immediatley swooped down at Dante, trying to peck his face.

Dante ducked under the spearow and avoided it. "Suit yourself, looks like its KFC for dinner!" Dante at first went to reach for his sword, but then stopped in the middle. "on second thought, I think I'll let my new friend here have some action." He then sent out Alastor.

Spearow turned it's attention to the Riolu and tried to peck him instead.

Dante signaled Alastor and alastor jumped out of the way "Now hit em' with force palm!"

Spearow got hit with Force Palm, and backed up....then let out a screech attack.
