Personality: Katsushiro has put his life into performing. It was something he greatly enjoyed. Acting was like second nature to him. While this is true, he likes to travel a lot as well. He's the happy-go-lucky type, and is one who is rather hard to make upset, because he is such an optimistic type. Being an actor, even when he feels upset, he tends to hide it away, acting as if he's perfectly fine, though he may overdo it sometimes, and it causes people to suspect something is wrong. When it comes to Pokemon Battles, Katsushiro could actually care less. He doesn't find it very fun to watch Pokemon fight each other for competitive entertainment.

History: Katsushiro had always enjoyed acting. Even at home, a little village built by the lost people of Lostlorn Forest, he would go around the street acting. Of course, when he started, he wasn't very good at it. Bullies were common where he lived, and they had often chosen him as a victim for both verbal and physical abuse. His attitude was to not give up, and that remained constant. Even with the bully influencing every other child against him as well, he didn't budge from what he enjoyed most.

With years, Katsushiro eventually got better at acting, though that doesn't mean it attracted any viewers. As he had practised so commonly so out in the open, everyone had learned to simply shrug him off. Anyone who had bullied him had eventually stop, because they didn't find any "fun" out of it, anymore. With no one willing to watch his performances, he gave no second thought to simply leaving his hometown to find a place that suited him.

His first time stopping for acting was in Nimbasa City, mostly because it was at a short distance. He had tried hard to act to attract at least someone, but no one found him interesting. The people of Nimbasa were just too high-class for him to attract. That didn't smear his spirit, however, because he does it for the joy of acting. After some time, he left Nimbasa City. He was able to buy some supplies for his acting "career." Costumes, and make-up.

His next destination was in Driftveil City. The travel from Lostlorn Forest all the way to Nimbasa City was quite short, compared to the distance between Nimbasa and Driftveil. He had to make a stop or two on the way. When he crossed the bridge, he had run across, as an effort to be off it at the time it would be lifting for boats to pass.

When he had gotten to Driftveil City, he had made another attempt with acting, but the rough terrain made it hard for him to do well, as well as the sound of the ships' constant sounds, and the vehicles' constant noise, as they load and unload cargo from ships. He didn't last very long in this city. He just moved on.

The next road he took lead to Mistralton City. It was a longer path than the one he took to Driftveil, as well as very treacherous. The first part was through grassy fields, save the bridges that connected one bit of land to another across the rivers.

Along the field, he travelled leisurely. It was until he found a Vulpix laying beside a riverbed, seemingly unconscious. He made no hesitation. Katsushiro dropped all his supplies and ran to the Vulpix's aid. The second he touched it, however, it lept up and used Ember against him out of fear. Panicked with clothes on fire, Katsushiro fell backward into the shallow water. Vulpix stared at Katsushiro's wet figure, and then laughed hysterically at him. Katsushiro was confused, as it seemed it was unconscious before. Its laughing made him realise that it was really just an act. He didn't know if it was really startled or not by him appearing to it, from the way it reacted to him, but it was at least acting. Katsushiro joined it laughing for some time, and eventually climbed out of the water. Lucky for him, he had set down his bag. From the time they laughed, they had connected. Katsushiro wondered, as he waited for his clothes to dry, how the Vulpix had gotten there. Vulpix were not of this region, and it didn't seem a trainer brought it all this way. The Vulpix leaned against Katsushiro as he sat, as if it had accepted him as a playmate.

It seemed that from the get-go, that they had become friends. The travel through the grassy fields was like a maze for him, but Vulpix seemed to know perfectly well which ways to go. Eventually, they got to a cave. which seemed filled with much static. He was hesitant to enter a cave when the Vulpix was following him. He didn't want it to get hurt. The Vulpix was the first one to step into the cave because of Katsushiro's hesitation. It urged Katsushiro to go forward. With Vulpix willing him to go on, he was ready to keep going.

It hadn't taken very long for them to encounter a Pokemon. It was a Galvantula, and it seemed this being had much more battle experience than either of them ever had. With only a bite, it caused a great deal of pain for the Vulpix. Katsushiro jumped in front of it to guard it, but he knew there was nothing he could do to fight it off. The next thing that came from the Galvantula was a ball of electricity. It hit Katsushiro, hurting him just as much as the Vulpix. He collapsed next to it. The Galvantula trapped both Katsushiro and Vulpix in an electrically charged web, immobilizing them both. The last thing Katsushiro saw before becoming unconscious was the flash of many tails.

Upon waking, Katsushiro was face-to-face with another pokemon right away. This time, however, it was a ninetales. It seemed to have been watching his condition. Katsushiro compared the Ninetales and the Vulpix. They didn't seem to be related in any way. After a moment of staring, the Ninetales left him, only leaving a stone as proof that it was actually there. To be more specific, it was a fire stone. The Vulpix had examined it, but didn't touch it, seeming to not want to evolve just then. Katsushiro picked up the stone and tucked it away, in the case that it would want to evolve.

It was official, they had gotten to Mistralton City. There, he attempted acting once more. This time, Vulpix was involved with the acting. It was almost an exact mirror of "The Beauty and the Beast" that they acted out. They had practised it in a remote area first, before performing for all the public to see. Both Katsushiro and Vulpix enjoyed it to the very end (and they very skilfully manoeuvred around the scene with the kissing). Katsushiro hoped, to himself, that their friendship would never end. Performing was the best thing in the world for him, and doing it with Vulpix as an actress companion had increased his love of acting.

Staying in one place didn't seem so much like fun any more. Travelling had become a hobby. They were going to stay in Mistralton a little longer, even though their performance had only attracted some laughter, and then they would be setting out for more performances around the region. It was for the love of acting that they did it. And they were going to do it more. As much as possible. Katsushiro told himself that if this were a dream, he'd hope not to wake up from it.
