Tournament Types

Restricted Tournament

In this tournament type, there is a level cap of 50. This means that all Pokemon, regardless of their current level, will temporarily become level 50 during the course of the battles. (Please keep in mind that it is only in affect at the tournament, and not in any RP topics used during the time of the tournament.) Also note that the moveset of the Pokemon doesn't change. It retains the current moveset, regardless of the level boosting or lessening. The use of Legendaries is PROHIBITED. Just like all tournaments, items are not allowed. The number of participants will vary, but it will always remain an even number. All general tournament rules apply.

Free Tournaments


In this tournament type, just like the previous, there is a level cap of 50. Note that the moveset of the Pokemon that changes level doesn't change. It retains the same learned moves, only the level differs. There will be no using items, a rule for every tournament, and you CAN use Legendary Pokemon. The number of participants will vary, but it will always remain an even number. All general tournament rules apply.

Free Level Tournaments

This is a sub division of the two previous tournaments. It can be added on to either a Free or Restricted Tournament, and rules the level cap void for that tournament alone. Please note that if a Free Level tournament is made, it must be clearly stated that it is one in the title. If not, then it will be assumed the tournament doesn't have the Free Level rules, and the level cap will be put into place.
