Route 30 - Training

Halfway between Cherrygrove and Violet City... Andrew made camp. Off the beaten path of the actual route hidden slightly within the forest. They had been traveling for half a hour with the larger dry patch of ground, hidden through the forest. His hazel hues adjusted around trying to search for the perfect spot and soon he would dig his way through brush and branches. "This looks like a good spot." A quick nod and soon he would set his backpack down, leaning it against a firm tree. Stretching out his body quickly with several pops that came afterwords a previous camp fire looked like it was already there.

And with that he would use the same pit as before. The day was slowly coming to a end but still well within the afternoon with his pokemon still within their own Pokeballs. They had just started and the first gym was slowly coming around the corner... And with that they needed to train, a soft smirk yet a heavy sigh escaping through his lips. "Let's gather some things, and actually relax... We can start fresh within the morning?" A curious question soon asked. Turning around to look at Liara and Azula. "It's up to you... We can start now or tomorrow morning?" With that he would start collecting the branches and twigs... Collecting fire wood for the upcoming night.

Liara and Azula trecked slowly behind them, not really interested in any of the surroundings. In fact Azula hda been rather uptight all day. Maybe it was just the fact that she hadn't been all that active recently. As she come upon the place that Andrew had started to make camp, Liara sighed and nodded, stretching her back slightly, setting down her own travel pack. " Yeah, looks fine. At least we're not walking anymore. My feet are starting to hurt a bit." Liara looked over at Azula and watched as the houndour nodded in agreement. "Alright, looks like we're all in the clear." Liara graciously allowed herself to sit down on a nearby log, idly petting Azula who sat straight and alert. She took out Ella's pokeball and let her out as well. "Tomorrow's fine. Might as well let everyone out and stretch. I'm sure they have a ton of pent up energy." Ella was out of her pokeball and running in circles around Liara. She laughed and pet the small elephant pokemon. She watched curiously as Andrew began collecting the sticks. "We won't need too much. Azula can always light it with very little kindling." The houndour nearly smirked at that. "Dour!"

Liara thought for a moment. There was still at least an hour before nightfall yet she didn't know what to do. "Well, I guess I can go with Azula and Ella to look for something we can cook or maybe some berries? What do you think, sound good? Then we'll be all rested up for training tomorrow? We'll need all the energy and strength we can get!"

Once he was done gathering the tender for the fire... Andrew would let the sigh escape his own lips. Walking back, they both had fire Pokemon while his own had his own mind another soft sigh slowly escaped his lips. Once everything was set up within the cone shape while the dry grass and more tender within. "Well here goes nothing..." Pulling out Charizard;s pokeball, the red beam showing the vanishing. The loud roar escaped and soon echoed across the forest scaring off all lower level pokemon around. The dragon pokemon shifted around with his own eyes gazing at each person... From Andrew to Liara and even Azula. With grey smoke escaping his nostrils with a single huff... He would find himself his own spot to fall asleep.

With another sigh, Andrew soon gave as he walked her way sitting against the wooden log with his elbows resting against his knees. "Sorry... About that he was my fathers. He left him for me so I would be a better trainer, it will take time though." Once done speaking he pulled out his other team mates... Appearing playfully running about as the sun vanishes behind the mountain. They had a couple hours left before the bright sky turn vanishes and the midnight star filled sky appearing. Reaching over to slowly petting her against her head, yet a soft blush would cross his cheek bones as their own hands met together. "Why don't you head over and play with them, Azula?" A curious question he would ask her Partner.

His own team ran about the field around them... Playfully playing with that he mind had wandered off. "How will Charizard ever trust me?" This question he might have to learn for himself but another opinion would be better.

Liara held back a flinch as Charizard was let out of his pokeball. It wasn't like she was exactly used to seeing pokemon of this sort. Azula started to growl faintly but relaxed as she continued to be pet. Soon all the pokemon were out and seeming to be having fun. Azula ran over to join them, quickly going to pounce on Cubone.

Liara smiled kindly and rested her head in one of her hands, letting out a sigh of her own. "Well, it's cool that you even have a Charizard, even if it won't listen to you just yet. I really can't tell you what's going to impress him or how you will gain his trust because every pokemon has a different expectation from it's trainer, but I know you can do it. I have faith in you, just like I have faith in all of my pokemon's abilities." Azula went to touch his shoulder as she finished speaking, smiling shyly. She would then stand and head over to the pile of sticks. "Azula, can you use ember on this please?" The Houndour made her way over and puffed a small ball of fire on the sticks, it instantly catching on fire and lighting up the are. "Thank you. You can go back to playing." Azula nodded and made her way back to the other pokemon.

Liara placed one hand on her hip and with the other placed her index finger on her lips, as she lost herself in thought. What should they do now? "Maybe we should start. Training in the dark would make it more of a challenge don't you think? I don't know, I suddenly have all this energy."

A quick smile curled around his own cheek bones, gently to look their way now alone. All their pokemon playing with each other... It was like their own little family. "Yeah, I know what you mean... They each have their own personality and even know I've been around Charizard all my life. He's only teaching me to become a better train, and for my fathers wish of keeping me out of trouble and becoming the person I should become." Soon watching Azula come over and light the fire... The flames danced around lighting the area around them and little of the surrounding. Though when he looked back towards the group... Watching them play as the moon shinned brightly above.

With Charizard behind them actually watching over them all, making sure nothing got out of hand. "Though my father knew better... And knew I would be getting into trouble one of these days." With a nod as he spoke, he tucked his hands within the inner hoodie pockets. "Yes... That sounds like a good idea." As he spoke he soon looked over to his own dratini, since she was his first he would start off with her, soon calling her over. The small dragon like pokemon coiled around his right arm as her head peered over his very shoulder. "Ready to train?" A curious question with her own playful expression "Dra... Dratini" With her ready... He was ready to go. "Alright let's do this, I'm wide awake now." With his smirk curling around his very lips he looked her way and soon waited.

"Well if you do manage to get into any trouble, I can probably bail you out of it. I may not be much of a people person, but I can be very persuasive when I want to be." Liara chuckled a bit darkly at that and her eyes flashed brightly. She was recalling a certain situation from her childhood at that moment, but she would keep it to herself for the time being. She looked back over to where all the pokemon were at and noticed Azula's ears were bent a little awkwardly, even during play keeping guard over her trainer.

Liara smiled at that and then snapped her finger. She watched as Azula instantly knew what that meant and she walked over to sit by her trainer, dilligent as always. Liara then motioned over to Andrew and Mystic signaling that she was ready. "Alrighty, let's get this show on the road shall we? It would probably be best to start with both of our first pokemon right? Should be an interesting combination here." Azula nodded once and smirked a little herself, one of her fangs peaking out from her mouth. "Houndour!" Azula jumped up and readied herself into a stance.

Liara chuckled slightly and would look over at the other two. "So, we're going to work on working with one anothers pokemon, right? Or shall we just try to hone in on each pokemons individual skills and try to coordinate that into the most effective damaging attacks? I'm pretty much game for anything, even though I'm still new at all of this." Liara crossed her arms, leaning on one leg casually while her expression settled into a slightly upturned smile, though it would be very hard to notice. She was just happy to be getting some actual experience out of this, what with not having worked with Azula all that much. Ella would need some improvement as well, seeing as she was just newly acquired.

Smirking slightly he would nod her way, with both arms tucked within the front pocket of his hoodie. The dragon like Pokemon curled around his forearm, gently with her head nuzzled against his own shoulder. “I believe we should hone our Pokemon each individual skills before we start working with each others Pokemon…” He would pause before speaking once again… With a soft inhale of breath, he would soon continue his own speech. “That way… When we do work with each others Pokemon it would give them more trust and confidence in us… And with that it shows them that we can be trusted with each other no matter what the situation is.” Hoping that his words came out the right way and hadn’t confused anyone at the moment it was only the peak of the night.

The moon had just come out and the stars shining brightly… It was peaceful and calm, silent was around besides the group itself. The playful gestures and noises from them all, echoed around. “Yes I was going to start off with Dratini… Since she’s my first and then work my way down the last.” His words were playful and at the same time, Dratini uncoiled preparing to train throughout the night beside Azula. “Looking through my Pokedex as I compare both of our Pokemon… We should work on the two attacks, Ember and twister.” He paused to slip the Pokedex back into his back pocket, and soon started speaking once again. “Creating a single use Fire Spin… Though the timing and correct proportion of each attack must by perfect to get it to its max power.” With another nod he would look at them both and then to the group of Pokemon.

A faint smile, curled around his own cheek bones gently. “It’s going to be a long night, Are you ready?” His own question slipped out finally with the eager expression crossing his own facial features.

Liara rolled her eyes and then curled her lips just a little more than previously. "Of course, all nighters aren't going to be a problem for us. So let's get this show on the road. Azula, let's do as the man says. I want you to build up as much fire as you can in your system and let it go right as she uses Twister, you got that? Then release what you can in controlled bursts so that we can get the best out this combo. Did you catch all that?" The houndour tapped the ground twice with her paw in answer. "Dour!" Liara would then stand a bit away from her pokemon, giving Azula her needed space. "Watch carefully and go!"

Azula closed her eyes and started to growl a bit as she began to build the hot intensity in her chest. The more she focused on her inner strength, the louder the growling got. There was almost a burning aura around her from all the energy she was storing for these series of attacks. As her fire power reached it's peak, her eyes would open and she would be watching the Dratini closely waiting for it to release it's twister so that she could release her own fire in an ember attack. Her accuracy would be focused only on the spinning wind as she would release the ember in a fiery blaze, watching as the fire would eat up the air and spin beautifully, creating the perfect example of a Fire Spin. Liara would offer her own encouragement from the sidelines to her pokemon. "Keep it up Azula! Let your power shine intensely!" Azula would keep it up as long as she could to please her trainer and make herself better. They could later work with other combinations if need be, but for now she would do her best to keep her embers top notch.

The slight movement... With the area around them silent and peaceful besides the group itself. And with them soon starting to train through out the night it was going to be long night though he was ready, well they were ready for the hours to come. Listening to Liara as well and soon they got started kneeling besides Mystic he had his faith in her and knew she can do it. "Alright... I know this is our first serious training." With his own words and a single pat against her head he stood back up with a single step back. The smaller dragon Pokemon coiled up as Azula powered up her own ember... The fire building within herself.

The hues within her own eyes gently glow concentrating on the attack... Slowly though the small dragon found the power within herself. The orbs within her own hues glowed a softer ice blue... Andrew waited for that right moment, once again he would kneel down to rest his elbows against each knee. "Twister!" He soon commanded his voice showed determination. With that Mystic released the power within... Yet the small twister started to form right in front. The former grounds of the current spot they were training at was clear yet the winds picked up forming that familiar twister everyone knew.
