Now A New Adventure..

Nick was sitting at a table by himself with his 5 pokeballs resting on the table along with his jacket and pokedex which was outdated. Nick had just brushed off the Indigo Leauge, collecting all 8 badges and narrowly missed out on a spot in the Top 32. He was looking to prove something in the Hoenn Region by winning the Ever Grande Conference this year.

Nick had undergone a change in wardrobe before he set off to the Hoenn Region. His usual bulky clothing was replaced by jeans a t-shirt and a lightweight jacket. He cut his hair shorter so his face was fully revealed. He thought a change in looks was suitable as he was going to the Hoenn which was known for being remarkably hot.

'Attention' The Loud Speaker announced. 'This is your captain speaking. We have reached our destination of Lilycove City'

It had been a very long journey and some of the passengers even cheered at this announcement. Nick suspected some of them were eager to explore Hoenn or more likely they just wanted to get on dry land.

Nick clipped his pokeballs to his waist and put his jacket on. He placed his pokedex in his bag and then threw his bag over his shoulders. He had an ear to ear grin as he walked towards the exit of the boat.

Nick stepped out into an unbelievable heat that prompted him to take his jacket off almost right away. He decided the first thing he needed was a drink and some decent food. But as he wandered over to a vending machine the sight of the beach caught his eye and he remembered his pokemon. They hadn't been out of their pokeballs for hours.

'Alright everybody' Nick said to the pokeballs 'Lets have a bit of fun!' Nick released his 5 pokeballs and all of the pokemon that he had travelled with over Kanto appeared. His Sedra immediately jumped in the water while Electabuzz, Sizcor and Umbreon all began stretching out their bodies and relaxing. Houndoom on the other hand jumped onto Nick the second he was released and began happily licking Nick's face.

'OK buddy thats enough' Nick said standing up. He noticed other trainers on the beach with their pokemon to. Nick thought a battle would be a great work out before his registration but everyone seemed more interested in relaxing than battling.

Nick quickly grabbed some water and food from the vending machine for himself and the pokemon. They happily ate away while they all bummed out on the beach. Nick was happy to be relaxing but knew this wouldn't happen often as their training would start soon. And even now Nick looked around for someone decent to battle.
