Four Gym Battles, Four Gym Badges, Four Gym Triumphs

Oliver entered the city looking to the bright lights and vast buildings moving amongst them until he heard a group say they were going to watch one of Elesa's Gym Battles so, he followed them until he reached the gym entering he noticed the stands and a large battlefield which he waited at the side of. After the battle was finished he moved into position calling to Elesa "hey you may or may not have heard about me from the other gym leaders but i'm here for your badge next!" watching he removed a pokeball from his waist enlarging it and calling "Come on out to battle Electivire!" Electivire standing on the field stomping his feet and waiting for his opponent to appear.

Elesa stepped onto the battle field and gave a slight nod. "You must be the young hopeful that beat down Burgh. I'll give you some credit for that, but your streak ends here." She enlarged a Pokeball of her own, and released an Emolga from within.

"Emolga, use Quick Attack!" the gym leader commanded, and her Pokemon complied, disappearing in a blinding rush of speed before attempting to slam into the opponent.

Oliver snapped his fingers calling "Now Flamethrower" Electivire opening his mouth and unleashing the flames which were propelled at high speed towards Emolga. Oliver knew exactly what he was doing planning to catch Emolga out in the flames in turn causing major damage and weakening the speed of the attack and therefore the attack itself. Oliver also knew that at the speed Emolga was going the chance of breaking in time of turning was next to nothing.

It was a good strategy, and Emolga couldn't even attempt dodging. The Pokemon's attack was slowed, and he gained a lot more damage than normally would happen. He lightly tapped Electivire before falling down and fainting. With a burst of red light, Elesa returned him.

She threw another Pokeball into the air, and out burst another Emolga. "Double Team," she commanded. The small Pokemon seemed to rush so fast that several different copies of her appeared out onto the field. Each looked just as real as the last, and it was almost impossible to determine which was the real one.

Oliver smiled and called "Return Electivire" holding out his pokeball as he disappeared in a red light. Oliver then held out another pokeball calling "Now come on out Accelgor" his Accelgor emerging onto the field, Oliver called "Now Double Team" Accelgor also moving just as fast that several copies appeared on the field from out of no-where much alike Emolga each being impossible to tell which one is the real one. Oliver then called "Now follow it up with Agility then Swift" this causing Accelgor's incredible speed to increase even further before each Accelgor launched off a Swift attack at the blockade of Emolga's, the array of stars moving so fast it was hard to see them.

"Double Team once more, confuse him!" Elesa called, and her Emolga complied, creating even more copies of itself as some were destroyed by the speedy Swift attack. "Now use Quick Attack" Not only the real Emolga, but all copies complied, rushing at one of the Accelgor images from all angles, and not allowing him to see which was the real one, thus not allowing him to figure where to dodge if it were the true enemy.

"double team" Oliver whispered Accelgor complying but the double team appeared to fail. Oliver then called "Quick Spray" All of the Accelgor's spinning around at extreme speeds before launching off Acid Spray what acted as a bubble shield so any that hit it would exhibit extreme pain.

The Acid Spray seemed to be just what was needed to both expel the copies of Emolga as well as hit the real one. With a small cry of pain, the little Pokemon fell into the ground and fainted. In a burst of red light, he was returned into his Pokeball to rest.

Elesa sighed as she held her last Pokeball in her hand. She tossed it into the air, and out came a Zebstrika came out. "Flame Charge," she commanded, and her Pokemon gained a fiery glow before rushing quickly at Accelgor.

The Accelgor's all disappeared and it looked bad for the gym leader because if Accelgor wasn't there then where was he. Oliver then called out seemingly randomly "Acid Spray!" a sudden barrage of Acid Spray's coming down towards Zebstrika from the ceiling as the earlier double team maneuver hadn't failed but in fact worked and worked well concealing 12 Accelgor's one obviously being the real one on the Ceiling where they awaited Zebstrika to move into position for the attack to work at it's full power.

Zebstrika didn't even think to look up, and as its target suddenly disappeared, it just sort of stood there looking around for his opponent. "Zeb!" he cried in pain as the Acid Spray hit. Crumpling to his feet, he finally looked up to the Accelgor on the roof. Unable to do anything in attempt to hit his opponent, he struggled to his feet, and awaited his opponent to get to the ground again.

Rather than dropping down to the floor though the Ninja like pokemon ran along the roof with it's clones using quick attack until there were three of them on each of the four walls Oliver calling to them all "Now Energy Ball!" three green energy ball's growing on each wall with the Accelgor's before being fired off towards the weak Zebstrika.

Zebstrika saw the two balls hurtling toward him, and acted quickly. He was weak, but not weak enough to not be able to move. Using Quick Attack, he managed to speed out of the way of the oncoming attacks, and dodge them. With the Accelgor still on the roof, he could not launch an attack of his own.

Oliver just called to his team "Keep it up" the Accelgor's charging around the wall's with quick attack each of the 12 launching off Energy Ball attack's whilst running so they could cover the entire gym with attacks until eventually there were more than 12 Energy Ball attacks flying towards Zebstrika from every single angle.

Zebstrika couldn't stand a chance, and he was barraged by the Energy Balls. Elesa did a huge grin as she returned her precious Pokemon. "You did a wonderful job," she said both to her own Pokemon as well as Oliver.

She walked over to a nearby table, and grabbed several objects. She walked to Oliver, and handed them to him. "This the Bolt Badge as well as the Volt Switch TM. There is also $3240 to spend on what you like." She seemed a lot more graceful in defeat than the other gym leaders, and didn't even seem upset about it. "Now go and conquer the rest of the Unova league!"

Oliver simply nodded taking his stuff and returning his pokemon to the pokeball before turning and leaving the gym heading for the next.
