Mockingbird (Craig Marshall Only)

Leveled Charmander up and caught a Pikachu. A good start for a new trainer. Craig Marshall's team is more than ready to take on Brock right now but he prefers to find a flying type first so he will be ready against fighting types. Looking at his cash, he finds out that he is short on it and he needs a money sooner or later. He walks around Viridian City seeing new people as usual and waiting for either a wild Pokemon or a Trainer to challenge him. Charmander and Pikachu are inside their Pokeballs.

Normally you wouldn't find alot of birds or wild pokemon in town, but this time there was a pidgey that was scavenging in the tras [lol, whut?]. It was apparently searching for some food, and mistook the trashcan for the ground.

Pidgey, Female, Lvl 10

"Why does it have to be female?" thought Craig smiling. "Not a sexist but don't like female Pidgeys..." he added on his thoughts. He took Pikachu's Pokeball out and knew he is in a battle again. He released the electric mouse. "Thank you for joining. Now let us defeat the foe. Thundershock!" commanded Craig. The hungry for battle Pikachu unleashed shocks of electricity towards the wild Pidgey!

The pidgey, having recieved a couple of shocks, looked at the pikachu. "PIDGEY," it screeched, and it took in flight. A few moments later, it was gone. Apparently it just wanted to search for food, not want a fight.

Nice going genius...

"What a wasted EXP... Oh well." Craig said. Pikachu tried to use Thundershocks but the Pidgey was already gone. "Let her go. There are other Pokemon out there." said Craig. They started walking around again and be challenged again.

The pokemon that challenged them this time was none other than a houndour. It may have escaped from it's owners and is feisty, much like the pikachu. It thought that the trainer was after it, so it dashed madly at the pikachu and used ember, spitting fireballs at it.

Houndour, Female, Lvl 13

Pikachu dodged and used Thundershock.

The houndour, after recieving the attack, howled to raise it's attack, then started rushing at the pikachu. There were not many attacks that it knew, though it's strongest one was ember at the moment, which would be enhanced by the howl. It slightly sped up when it was halfway near the pikachu, preparing to blast more fire at it.

Pikachu got hit by the enhanced Ember as he shook his body around and waited for an order, he normally will attack but he now has his trainer. "Tail Whip." said Craig, if Hounder has his attack stat raised, then better lower the defense stat. Pikachu whipped his tail and tried to lower the foe's defense stat!

((You know I'm not, now focus on your battle, elsewise you will die, lol))

The houndour's defence indeed did lower, and this made it slightly angrier. It pounced at the pikachu again, and it was attempting to use ember yet again, and it would probably work because of the pikachu's attack taking place not only a second ago. However, all thigns are possible, so there is a chance the pikachu can dodge.

Pikachu quickly jumped back and punched the Houndour on her face. Talk about beating girls. "D'oh! Thundershock!," commanded Craig. Pikachu did the same thing.

The houndour got hit in the face, and was hit by the thundershock, slightly releasing a tear. Her face now burned from the hit, and she was seriously enraged. She started charging ember a few times, then started spewing quite alot of fire out at pikachu. She was gonna tire herself out if she continued this, though she didn't care. She wanted that pikachu down and out for the count.

((Yes, ember was used 3 times in a row to spread much fire everywhere. Have fun dodging XD))

Pikachu got hit this time. "Will you please use other moves?" taunted Craig. "Quick Attack!" he commanded. Pikachu ran away from the Houndour using Quick Attack to at least support his speed with more speed and then he spun like a racecar drifting and ran back towards the foe.

The houndour wasn't about to let itself be damaged by the pikachu again, considering it just was, which served as a reminder. It waited until just the right moment to jump away and keep itself from having damage inflicted. Then it looked to the trainer with was trying to taunt it. It barked at him, then looked back to pikachu, and blew poisonous fog at it. It was using smog, and it was hoping that it would poison the pikachu alongside the damage it would do.

The Smog was inhaled by Pikachu who got hurt and poisoned. His face and posture showed the effects of the poison. "You okay, fella?," Craig asked. Pikachu replied positively by wagging his tail, not using Tail Whip though. "Yeah, it'd take more than that to take you down, right? Oh well, Thundershock!," Craig commanded. Pikachu did what he does best: electrify.

The houndour was a little proud of itself, though it wasn't very pleased when it got hit by the thundershock. It almost became paralyzed, but it could still move, so it figured out what to do next. It jumped at the pikachu and blew fire directly at it, hoping to take it out.
