Pokemon Adventures - Episode I: Let the journey begin!

The day starts off beautiful as the morning sun raises over the horizon, bringing light over the small town known as New Bark Town. As the morning arrives, people were coming out of their homes to start their morning routine. The men head off to work and the women go do their normal things like going to the market or their jobs as the young kids head to school to learn. but some young folks dream of going on pokemon journeys. Especially one young teenage girl, who will begin her pokemon journey.

In a bedroom at a two story house, A young girl name Kana Gallosilk was asleep in her bed dreaming of her pokemon adventure that she will be starting today. The sun shines through the window of her bedroom as she woke up and opened her beautiful light blue eyes. Kana sat up in her bed and stretched before turning to her window and look outside to the beautiful sunny day. Then she gets up and makes her bed before grabbing her trainer clothes and heading into her bathroom for a nice warm shower. After that, she comes downstairs and heads to the kitchen where her mom was fixing breakfast and her dad was sitting at the table reading his daily newspaper with a cup of warm coffee on the table.

"Morning, mom. Morning, dad." Kana greated her parents while smiling.

Her dad looked up from his newspaper and smiled at his daughter while her mom brought their breakfast over to the table and she sat down.

"Well, good morning, sunshine. Did you sleep well?" Her dad greeted back.

"yes I did. I had a really wonderful dream of starting my pokemon adventure." Kana answered as she sat down.

"Well, you must be very excited today then." her mom said.

"I am very excited." Kana said.

The family of three begins to eat their breakfast. During their morning meal, they started up another conversation. Then her dad turned to his daughter and decided to ask her what her choice was for her first pokemon.

"Well, I've been giving it some thought last night and I think I'm gonna go for a totodile." Kana said before she took a drink of her milk.

"A totodile would be an excellent choice for your first pokemon." Her dad said.

After breakfast, the three gathered outside and heads towards the Pokemon Lab to see Professor Elm. The lab was only about a 20 mile walk from their house. They arrive at the professor's lab and Kana went inside while her parents waited outside.

"Hello. I'm here to get my pokemon and start my journey." Kana greeted.

[[Just to let you know, you can start off right away without having to go to the lab for your Pokémon but if that's your style then there's nothing wrong. ^.^]]

Professor Elm is sitting on his chair and typing something on his computer when he heard Kana. He looked at her and stood up. "Oh come here. Your name is," he asked.

((I know. But, I'm fine with having Kana get her pokemon first.))

Kana smiles and heads over to Professor Elm. She was excited to pick her new pokemon as Professor Elm stood up and asked for her name.

"My name is Kana Gallosilk and I'm here to get my first pokemon as a new trainer." Kana answered.

"Well, okay. As you can see, I'm pretty busy but it doesn't matter. We can do this quickly. Over there are three Pokeballs. Inside of them are Johto's finest starters. Which one do you want," he asked.

Kana heads over to the table where the pokeballs are. These pokeballs had Chikarita, Cyndaquil, and Totodile.

"I've been giving it some thoughts last night. But, I know which pokemon I'm going for. I choose, Totodile." Kana said as she picks up the pokeball with totodile.

"It's yours, then. Oh and it seems some trainers get annoyed when I tell them how to make a Pokémon happy and how to heal them. So I'm giving you an option to choose if you want me to teach about that. Also, you can give it a nickname if you want," he said.

Kana tosses up the pokeball and let's the totodile out. With a smile, she waves to the totodile and he jumps around her all excited to meet his new trainer. Then, Kana turns to Professor Elm and she gives him a nod as the totodile turns to the professor.

"Sure and I think I'll call him GatorClaw." Kana said.

"Well it's not that much complicated. It's pretty basic but newbie might find it difficult. It's simple: Never let them faint in battle. Pokémon have personalities. So when you catch a new one, make sure you get to know your new fella. Some wants to fight, some doesn't, some are insane, some are complex. Treat them like human. That's all. Anything else? Oh and don't worry about healing, there are Pokémon Centers for that and I'm pretty sure there are cheap pocket books around shops that teach you how to heal with herbs or something like that," he said.

Kana nods as she listens to Professor Elm teach her about pokemon's happiness.

"Got it. Thank you so much, Professor. I promise to take good care of GatorClaw." Kana said.

"Well, what you waiting for now? Oh yeah. Hey, Igor," he called an assistant. "Yush," Igor asked. "The Poke balls that we give everyone,"[/y] Elm said as Igor nodded and went to a closet full of empty Poke balls. He opened the door and took five and handed it to Kana. [u]"There. The Pokedex is on my table. You can take it. You're set now. Well... go get them tiger," Elm said with a grin.

Kana took the pokeballs and put them in her back pouch. Then, she went over to the professor's table and took the pokedex, also putting it in her back pouch. Then she turned to the professor and thanked him one last time. Then Kana and GatorClaw left the pokemon lab and her parents were still outside waiting for them. Kana smiled and she introduced them her pokemon, GatorClaw.

"He's a cute little pokemon. I'm sure you two will get along fine." her mom said.

"Thanks, mom." Kana said.

"Before you go, your mother and I have something for ya." her dad said.

Kana's parents brought out a light blue and light pink Pokegear and presented it to her. This made Kana gasped in surprised, she was gonna receive her very own pokegear.

"Oh wow! My own pokegear! Thanks, mom and dad." Kana said.

"The pokegear can also work as a phone. So, you can call us anytime." her mom said.

"Thanks, mom. Well, I guess this is it for now." Kana said.

Kana hooked the pokegear to the strap of her backpack before she hugged her parents. GatorClaw stood there smiling happy at the family of his trainer. Then they departed as Kana and GatorClaw turned and head off on their way, with Kana waving goodbye to her parents. This is the start of Kana's pokemon adventure.

About 5 minutes later, Kana and GatorClaw had left New Bark Town and entered route 29. There, they began searching for pokemon.

Luckily, it's another Totodile. It didn't look like it escaped from the Lab or another Trainer's. It's probably from somewhere else and wandered into this route. Who knows? It's eating a berry happily.

Level 4/Totodile/M

Kana and GatorClaw stopped and took noticed of the totodile eating a berry. GatorClaw jumped up and down happy. Kana smiled down at the GatorClaw and nodded.

"If we catch it, it will be on our team." Kana said.

With that, GatorClaw walked up to the totodile.

GatorClaw caught the attention of the other wild Totodile. For a few second, he stares at GatorClaw curiously. "To," he whispered before suddenly jumping up and down in the same manner GatorClaw does.

[[LOL. If Pokemon existed, I'm bringing six jumping Totodiles with me just to annoy my teacher. :P]]

Kana giggled at the wild totodile. GatorClaw followed the other totodile, doing the exact same thing. Then she walked over to the other totodile and she squatted down to it.

"Hi there, little fella." Kana greeted with a friendly manner and a friendly smile.

The wild Totodile suddenly stopped and quickly turned around, startled by Kana. He looked slightly mad and stared at her. Guess that's his difference.

Kana quickly got up and she stepped back abit. GatorClaw quickly went up to the totodile and told him that Kana wasn't gonna hurt him. GatorClaw also told him that Kana was really nice.

"It's okay, little guy. I'm not gonna hurt ya. To be truthful, I really like pokemon and I want to take good care of the,." Kana said.

Totodile quickly turns around and stares at GatorClaw. He jumps and turns around, again looks at Kana. He starts jumping happily again. It looks like Kana should take this as a "yes, I want to be captured". But she shouldn't rejoice right away. Totodile stops jumping and the body language tell that he's thinking of something. "I've always wanted a Trainer... but I want to see how good you two are," he explained in his own language.

GatorClaw jumped up and down, wanting to accept the challenge. Kana turned to GatorClaw and giggled.

"Alright. We'll accept your challenge." Kana said.

"Yeah! Then we can become great friends! Maybe even brothers!" GatorClaw Shouted with joy in his own language.

"How is she gonna differentiate us from each other? Whatever, fight now, talk later," he said. His face turned from a huge smile to a serious face. The more Kana interacts, the more the wild Totodile's personality is showing. This is the jolly type but when in a battle, you can hang on to this one and "let him do the work" type.

He starts off with an intimidating sharp leer from his eyes that is meant to lower GatorClaw's Defense. He used Leer!

GatorClaw stopped and shrugged as he faced the other totodile, only to have his defense lowered form the unexpected leer. GatorClaw shook it off and he got ready for his first attack.

"GatorClaw, use Scratch!" Kana called out.

GatorClaw raised his left hand and he ran at the other totodile, using his claws to rake at him. GatorClaw used scratch.

Totodile quickly sidestepped to the left evading the attack. Then he would follow it up by showing GatorClaw his own brand of Scratch.

"Dodge it!" Kana called out.

GatorClaw dodged by jumped over the totodile and he landed behind him. Then he turned around and faced behind the totodile.

"Use Hydro pump and then follow it up with scratch!" Kana said.

GatorClaw used Hydro pump first by unleashing a wave of water form his mouth. Then, he ran up to the totodile and used scratch.

Totodile got hit by both attacks and since GatorClaw is stronger, it made Totodile weak. That moment where someone can capture already. w00t.

Kana quickly took a pokeball out from her back pouch. Then she faced the totodile and she tossed the pokeball at it.

"Alright! Go, pokeball!" Kana shouted.
