Kai is a calm boy who enjoys spending time with his pokemon whether their training, playing or just relaxing. Kai would never push his pokemon too far and knows when enough is enough. Kai is easy to befriend and is one of the kindest people you will ever know, helping whenever he can. Kai is an optimist and always tries to see the best in people even when they obviously have ill intentions. Kai is a born sea-man having grown up in Vermilion City by the docks in a small house having a great sense of direction and good sense of adventure.

History:
Kai grew up in a small house in Vermillion City with his mother (Leanne - 38), Father (Peter - 40), Two Brothers (Michael - 7 and Liam - 12) and Sister (Sophie - 15). His Father was a Ship-Builder having built many famous boats for people who lived nearby as Sailors, Captains, Large Businesses/Exporters and even Royalty, whilst his Mother was the complete opposite she was a Pilot flying from region to region sometimes as a Passenger Pilot and sometimes as a Cargo Pilot which meant she spent large amounts of time away from home leaving Kai's Father to look after the house and kids.

Kai was always walking around the Vermilion City area looking to find friends be it pokemon or person meeting an Abra who he befriended spending all of his spare time playing with Abra eventually reaching a mutual agreement for Kai to catch him. One day when Kai's mother was on a stop off in Vermilion she went to the house and gave Kai a pokeball which revealed to have a pokemon from the Hoenn Region known as Ralts. After weeks of training and playing with Abra and Ralts, Kai decided to go on a journey of his own and to take the chance his sister hadn't. Kai made his way calmly along the road to Pallet Town passing many places on the way so that he may start as many others had from Pallet Town to the Pokemon League Challenge but first he would have to visit the Pokemon Professor who worked there.
