Personality: Kai is... strange you could say. Even from an early age, she has lusted for power and domination over others. She refuses to take no for an answer, and will do whatever possible to get her way. She strives to be in command of many voluntary or involuntary servants, and will stop at nothing to achieve that goal. She is sarcastic and immature, and her only balance is her partner Pokemon Ninetales, who constantly has to keep her in check and is the voice of reason in many of the situations they find themselves in. When she's angry, she will have her Pokemon punish whatever irritated her. This usually results in a soul being eaten by her Lampent. She is also an expert pick-pocket, swindler, and thief.

History: Kai was born to a small middle class family, and was one of four children. She was always the problem child in her parents' eyes, and never got any love an affection. Some would say this is the reason she turned out how she did, but the truth is, she would have turned out just as she was regardless. Her family was very dysfunctional, and Kai pretty much raised herself.

She started out just being bossy, but then it escalated. When she realized she had power over her two younger siblings because of age, she exploited controlling them, and found that she rather enjoyed it. She would make them do the simplest of tasks such as making some food or picking up something she dropped, and love every minute of it. Her fun was ended by her parents, however, who decided it was time for her to start her Pokemon journey.

It didn't take long for Kai to catch her first Pokemon: a Vulpix that she named Star. With a little research and rumored information, she gleefully learned that Ninetales had the power to control the minds of others with one stare, and her and Star relentlessly trained until they achieved the right strength to evolve. Kai pick-pocketed a Fire Stone off of a passing tourist trainer, and used the stone to evolve Star into her ultimate warrior mind control Pokemon.

Using Star, Kai gained what she enjoyed so well: loyal (or at least mind controlled to be loyal) servants. Although having servants was great fun for her, she eventually grew bored of them, and allowed them to continue on with whatever they were doing before they met her. She set forth to a new challenge: gaining enough power to dominate over people. Enough power to be feared by the masses.

To do this, she would need more Pokemon, but not just any Pokemon. She needed Pokemon that would help her gain power, Pokemon with specific abilities. Kai researched relentlessly, and became aware of a few target Pokemon that she needed for her goal. Before she could travel the globe searching, she would need something to allow her to travel quickly and easily with. This problem was solved when she swindled a Flygon out of an unsuspecting trainer from Hoenn. Sure swindling more Pokemon would be easier, but Kai wanted bonds of trust between her and her Pokemon, so she set out to catch them herself.

With a new Flygon in hand, and a powerful Ninetales at her side, Kai was ready to catch her dream team. She first caught a Litwick before traveling to the region of Sinnoh and hunting down a smuggled egg of a Rotom, Paying pretty good money for it (well, stolen money, so what's the loss). Now all she needed was brute force, and her team would be complete. She traveled to Hoenn, and it was there that she searched for and eventually caught a Beldum. One more Pokemon was left to find, and Kai set out to Kanto to do just that. Finding a Magicarp wasn't that hard, and with six Pokemon in hand, Kai was ready to train.

She and her Pokemon trained day in and day out non stop. Though it took a long time, a time full of many injuries, her Pokemon eventually started to show results. They evolved, fought, and evolved again. Kai was very pleased with her team, and once they achieved tremendous strength and fearsomeness, they finally stopped training. Kai had obtained her dream team. It was now time to gain the power that she desired and craved.
