I'm Coming for You

For once, Eliana wasn't near her little sister. She was searching for something. Something in particular, a pokemon actually. Nothing weak, as it wasn't her to search for a pansy of a pokemon. Even if she found one as she was searching for a prized snake-like Giratina. That pokemon was strong to her, and she craved it. She wanted that Giratina, and she would have it, no matter what. She was ready to search long and hard for the pokemon. Her sister's pokemon would protect her, and she knew how to protect herself as well. Everything was prepared, and everything was going right. She thought she found it's marks a few times, though she wasn't completely sure. "I'm coming for you, Giratina," she said into the trees. "I'm coming."

Suddenly a trainer came out from the tree lines, a male dressed in all black and had some type of twig in the corner of his mouth and his hands in his pockets. He seemed to look over the girl as he looked up towards a hill just north of their postion, having overheard the girl speak. "You won't get far if you're aiming to catch that old thing by just lookin'. Some say it's just a legend, I see you don't believe that. Good for you, you'd be right. I happen to know where you might find it. I can't promise it's still there, but if you beat me in a battle I might give you the information." The man smirked rather creepily at the girl and took out one of his pokeballs. "What'll it be, girlie?"

"Tsk, like you'd be even worth my time. But, I have been itching for a battle. So has my lovely Hydra. Come on out, Hydra darling." A button was pushed and a large floating hydreigon came forth and roared loudly. "Show forth your weaklings, and we shall destroy them." Out of nowhere, a dark purple glowing mass surrounded Eliana and a rather evil smirk graced her pretty face. Lightning then started to strike around the girl as her eyes took on almost a purple sheen. She was a master at what she did, and she would not go down easily. Not at all.

"Please excuse me if I don't bow down to that little fireworks display. I've been around the block a couple of times, you don't scare me, nor does that beastie of yours. I've got a couple of my own." The man removed on of the pokeballs from his pockets as he withdrew his hand and clicked the button to show his own pokemon. A wave heat surrounded them then, making the battle field uncomfortably warm though the man had seemed used to this. The pokemon revealed itself to be a Heatran. It's steel plating and melting spots indicating the type of heat it could pack. "Now, let's settle this like civilized people, eh?" The man's grin grew once more, seeming to enjoy the darkness that the girl gave off. "Heatran, lava plume if you please." Heatran then started to shoot flaming balls of lava into the air, creating a torturous rainfall that would cover the area.

Unknown Trainer sent out Heatran, (male, level 65)

Eliana just sneered and scoffed at the 'grand' entrance of the Heatran. "Hydra, dodge as many as you can and launch a combination attack! Use the dragon slam combination!" Hydra responded with a growl in affirmation and flew toward the Heatran. He was clipped by a few of the lava balls and roared loudly each time. Once he got close enough, he made to body slam the creature and even if it missed, would go forth with a large dragon rage.
Eliana was pleased with what was happening, and felt she could really do this. Battle properly with a trainer, that is.

The man simply skirted to the side as he watched the two large pokemon go at it. Heatran took the brunt of the Body Slam and rumbled it's displeasure and suddenly was forced down as it felt the Dragon Rage hit him as well. He forced himself up though, practically steaming with his own rage. "Fire Spin." His trainer said offhandedly while he leaned back casually on a tree as if it were nothing. Heatran opened it's mouth and let out a long bellow of fire as it attempted to wrap it's flames around the Hydreigon in a vortex.

Hydra took the brunt of the fire spin before escaping it. A loud roar was issued and Hydra performed a dragon rush. Eliana was proud of her Hydra. He was one of her three prides. He was the first pokemon she ever got, and she was happy with him. "Keep it up, Hydra."

Heatran took yet another hit, it seemed both pokemon were having difficulties dodging the attack as the dragon rush sent him back against the tree lines, sending them down with a loud crash. "You're a little spitfire aren't you? Can't say it isn't amusing though." He threw at the girl as he watched his pokemon taking more brutal hits than hers. "Heatran come on, go in with Iron Head!" Heatran stook again, his energy getting to lower levels. He charged forward in a blind fury, aiming to strike the Hydreigon with the full force of his head.

"Of course he's a spitfire. I trained him." A pride filled smile filled Eliana's countenance and she shifted how she stood. "Dodge it, Hydra! And then follow up with Tri-Attack!" A grunt was issued and he dodged the attack by floating upwards. Hydra even seemed to chuckle at the other pokemon and trainer. His ability was levitation for Kami's sake. Levitation! Eliana shared his laugh and shouted, "Now!" Hydra approached from behind and launched his tri attack.

The male trainer simply rolled his eyes at the girl's prideful smile. He hoped it would come back to bite her one of these days. He looked over at Heatran who seemed a little worse for wear and decided this battle was hardly worth it anymore, but finishing wouldn't be that bad. He was hardly trying anyway. Heatran was such a slow pokemon so it was no wonder that he wasn't able to avoid the tri-attack. That attack packed more of a punch than the trainer had suspected, his pokemon having fainted from it after the combination of dragon type moves previously issued. He returned Heatran to it's pokeball and stood up, rolling his shoulders and removing a peice of folded paper. "Here, you wanted it so badly, have at it. See ya around, brat." The man flicked the paper to land on the ground in front of her and slumped off.

Heatran has fainted. Hydra gained 65xp. Hyra advanced to level 65.

Brat? Brat?!? Oh no he didn't. She was concentrating her power and was about to place the man in a dark aura box when Hydra spoke in her mind. "He's not worth it, though I would gladly rip him to shreds if you asked me too." Hydra growled in the man's direction and Eliana just rolled her eyes and picked up the paper. "Last known location, huh? Good enough, I guess. I swear next time someone calls me a brat I might actually snap." She turned to her little boy (he'd always be that small pokemon, no matter how big he was) and gently washed off the ash from the fire plume and she caressed his three heads. The dragon nearly purred and rested his head on her shoulder. "Next time we battle a trainer. I'm wearing my frickin helmet." Hydra chuckled and followed Eliana through the forest.

As Eliana walked through the forest, she would come across a massive cemetary. The essense it gave off practically made the air itself turn ice cold as a light fog loomed through it. It was quiet, except for the small sounds of occasional ghost pokemon. There would be several small grave plots dedicated to the burial of pokemon long gone. At the far end of the cemetary was a large, single tower that rose high above the treelines. The tower was the last known location of Giratina according to the paper.

Eliana felt more or less comfortable in the grave yard, it didn't bother her one bit. She walked with Hydra by her side toward the large tower that had been mentioned on the paper. With confidence, she walked up and touched it. The stone was cold, though that wasn't unnatural. After all, she was in the middle of a pokemon cemetery. She traveled around the base until she found a door. She took a deep breath and pushed it open. It was dark inside, but she didn't mind the dark. In fact, she preferred it to the light. Elie walked in and created a glowing purple ball of dark aura to light her path. She swore she could hear things crawling around, but she couldn't see them. The fog had followed her inside, and she could feel it's cool embrace wrapping around her ankles. "I'm coming, Giratina." she said and walked toward where she could see stairs.

On the way up, there would appear to be the sound of footsteps coming down the stairs, though no one would ever appear. A moment later a voice sounded in Eliana's head. "This tower is guarded. Though easy to enter, I assure you that you will be met with trials to make it any further." The voice would fade away, not issuing any further information. The first trial would appear as she approached a door with no handle and could not be forced or destroyed. There was one way to open the door, no loopholes. A simply riddle was written on the wood of the door. "My time comes around, third time is the charm, though I can blaze through in fury I mean you no harm. I'm good at fighting, but bad at swimming, I tire easily of always winning. I may be quiet, but please don't be hurt, you'd rather have me silent, than have you get burnt. I do not flee easily, for I am not a chicken, you had better guess right or else you'll get bitten. Who am I? " This was left for the girl to solve.

Eliana wasn't usually one for riddles, especially when she wasn't the one making them. However, this one intrigued her. "Blaze through? Not a chicken? Too easy." She placed a hand on the door and smirked. "You may not be a chicken, but your first form looks like a chick, Blazekin." If she heard the door click, she would push it open and enter the room ahead.

The door opened soon after and moved as if never being a blockage previously, leading to a longer corridor. Apparently the tower was bigger than first anticipated. For the next while it would appear as if there wasn't to be another trial as the corridor almost appeared to go on forever. The next trial came up and was indeed not a riddle, but another test. Shadows formed into the shape of a Lucario with glowing red eyes, a simple image though not really physcial. A dark voice loomed out."The next door that will lead to your goal will only open at my command. This is a trial of heart. If you had to choose between ultimate power or losing everything to remain with someone you love, which would you pick an why." The ghostly lucario went quiet after that, looking at the truth in the human's heart to see if she would answer honestly.

She walked for a while until she was slightly startled by a lucario apparently coming out of the woodwork, well, stonework. She listened to what it had to say and had to think for a moment. Everything she did was for her sister, and in memory of her father. Could she give everything she could do up for her little sister Amelia's sake? Yes, yes she could and she would.
"I would rather be with my sister than the most powerful being. Everything I do, why I've trained my powers to the extent I have, everything has been for my sister. I she is the one I live to protect. If power meant I would loose my Amelia, then it would be for naught." she explained. Her face almost seemed to glow with confidence and her heart surged in love of her sister.

The Lucario glared slightly as the human spoke. The true depths of her heart seemed to be laid out in words. They were true, that he could not deny, but he couldn't see far enough into a person to know if that would ever change. Still he disappeared back into the walls of stone and they seemed to fall away, opening a secret stairwell that was much thinner than the previous which led upwards. She had passed the second trial.

Eliana suppressed an eye roll as the lucario faded away and opened the staircase. This one was a lot thinner. She wouldn't ever tell anyone, but she really didn't like enclosed places. Heart pounding faster than normal, she walked up the staircase. Eventually, she just called Hydra back into his ball and wished she had something to hug on. It wouldn't take much for her to reach out and span the stairway, and that wasn't particularly a pleasant sensation. She kept walking and walking up the stairs, even stopping once or twice to just breathe. When would she reach the apex?

After just another few short moments, she would reach the top of the stairwell. This was one single room, the top of the tower. However the toom was split into halves, the entire middle of the room having no flooring at all between the far side and the side Eliana would soon stand on. Another voice issued this time. You have done well making it this far. This is your final test. A test of skill and strength of both power and will. Without using your pokemon, reach the other side of the room. But note this Dark Aura Master, this room was made to suppress even the strongest of aura masters. It will be no small task for you. The voice disappeared, leaving Eliana to her own disposal. The gap was far too wide to jump and no objects lined the walls. Just the stone walls and the wooden floors with the endlessly deep gap.

She was curious about the room and why it didn't have a floor. When the voice spoke, she got this look on her face that almost literally said "calculating". She wondered what kind of suppression she would endure. To test it, she made a strong box just in front of her feet, still on the solid floor. She would then stand on it to see if it would hold.

As Eliana stepped on it, she would feel a slight bending of the aura until it broke free of the careful hold and would lightly drop her onto the floor. It seemed the suppression was a weakening of the aura's strength from one that would assuradely hold her, to one that lasted for only a few seconds after weight was added.

"Hmm, alright. I'll just have to do this quick then. Several small blocks instead of a large bridge." As she spoke, she made up a bunch of blocks and stuck them side by side. Once they were all together, she would literally sprint across to the other landing zone. With every step she could feel a block sinking in slightly and as soon as she would step off of it, it disappeared. Soon she was across and she literally hugged the wall so she didn't fall off.

Finding that she managed to make it across, a rumbling effect was heard as the unseen floorboards were risen like an elevator. They fit in perfectly with both edges of the floor, appearing to have been whole the entire time. On the platform, was none other than Giratina in it's Origin form. The large pokemon stood tall and eyed the trainer with a sort of respect, yet also curiousity. It remained alert in case she attacked it, for it was borderline in its decision to attack the dark aura master. She was the only to have made it this far, showing both wit and strength. It would wait a moment before making a decision.

Giratina (Origin Form) Appeared! (Genderless, Level 70)

Eliana was mildly surprised when the floor just raised up and there was what she had been searching for. Giratina. Now in it's presence, she was amazed. It was larger than she had imagined, though for some reason, that was less intimidating than it could have been to another person. She took a step toward the pokemon without realizing it, her hand stretched forth. She had dreamed for years about meeting this pokemon, had dreamed of having it in her possession, not to mention fighting along side it. The only reason she didn't automatically go forward and touch the giant dragon was because she could feel it's hesitation around her. She herself was hesitant to fight it, especially since at the moment she really wanted to keep ogling.
"Giratina, if you wish for myself and my pokemon to prove our strength once more, we are ready. It is your choice whether or not to fight."
