Mark really doesn't like battling pokemon, much prefering to gather his pokemon through breeding, or through eggs. The few occassions that he does battle, he'll use his strongest pokemon, the ones who would be up to any kind of challenge, but he tries to always carry some sort of berry or other healing things with him just in case.

Mark is a ladies man, he loves girls and spends a good portion of his time flirting with them. He gets distracted very easily from just about anything for a pretty face. The only thing he likes more than females is his pokemon. He enjoys life and that's obvious in just about everything he does, he knows how to appreciate just about everything he has.
History:
Mark was born in Moonlight City, Minoru and spent a lot of his time down at the docks with his father who was a fisherman. He would bring in a lot of water pokemon and that was always Marks favorite part. Mark started working at the docks himself when he was ten years old, sometimes helping his father, and sometimes he'd be hired with some of the other's that worked on the docks.
His father talked to him about being a pokemon trainer before he turned 13, but after seeing how trainers would battle their pokemon, Mark decided against it and found a passion in breeding pokemon instead. He began breeding pokemon for trainers, owners, and even a few scientists.
At 15, he met a girl, who also happened to be a breeder, and he agreed to go with her to make sure that her pokemon stayed safe after each battle. He found her very attractive and so he was willing to do whatever to make her happy. He discovered a vast new world of other pokemon that he had never gotten a chance to work with. The girl he had followed eventually parted with him, but instead of going back home to work at the docks he wanted to continue his traveling to study different kinds of pokemon and work with breeding them.
The girl he followed left an egg with him, which hatched into a Aipom, which he's had with him ever since.
