New place, new adventures

Dray entered his house, and walked over to the refrigerator. He opened the door and got out a container of rice. He opened his microwave and then stopped. He remembered that he always has some turkey ontop of it. He walked back to the fridge, opens the door again, and gets out a plastic bag that had some turkey meat. he tore it up and mixed it in with the rice. He walked BACK to the microwave, and then put it in. He close the microwave door and input the number 30 in the number pad, and pressed start. He saw that Flayre was just flying around happily, waiting for the rice to be ready.

Bolt sat up unsure if the Vulpix was planning an attack; he wanted to be ready just in case. The Budew looked up and blinked twice at the Vulpix seeming confused as to where this Pokémon had come from. She then smiled and rolled a berry towards Vulpix before continuing on the one she had already started. The Shinx kept watching unsure of how the Vulpix would react or what weird reaction little Rosie might also have, she was rather strange.

Vulpix scurried back a few steps as the berry rolled, then sniffed at it. It certainly was an odd Pokemon, gorging itself as a threatening Pokemon as itself stood there. Yet instead of attacking, the vulpix seemed intrigued by it, and sat down. It tilted its head, watching the small baby Pokemon eat happily away at the pile of berries.

Thirty seconds were up and he pulled the rice out. it was very warm and it smelled delicious. He couldn't wait to eat it, but he had to since he wanted a snack and a show. He walked out, with Flayre following very closely. He saw what new had happened, a green pokemon had now appeared. It was eating the berries that Flayre had collected for the Vulpix, and it seemed to not be afraid of the vulpix. Flayre wasn't paying attention, and was staring at the food, drooling. Dray was now walking towards Ruby.

Bolt relaxed a little as the Vulpix appeared not to be attacking and made his way over to Rosie so he could protect her better. The Budew grinned as he approached glad to see her friend and offered him a berry too. He sniffed it and took a bite to test it. He glanced up at the Vulpix as Rosie smiled at and finished off her berry. She then rolled backwards happily and stared at the clouds.

AS Drayr approached Ruby sat back up to see how Bolt was going, it was only then she noticed her little grass pokemon had joined him and she worried for a moment till she saw that the Vulpix was just watching them. She smiled at how friendly her Pokémon were and was glad to have those two as friends. She wondered if Vulpix would realise how enjoyable those two were for company.

Vulpix glanced over as the shinx approached the green Pokemon. The to seemed to get along well, and were very friendly. Vulpix looked over to the humans, the male one again returning. Vulpix didn't like this one as much, he seemed loud compared to the female. Either way, vulpix looked back to the other Pokemon and took a couple steps forward before sitting down again. It was still going to be cautious, but wanted to know more about these two.

Ruby looked back up at the boy, her brown hair blowing gently into her face due to the light breeze. "Hello again." she said smiling. The boy then told her that he had to leave urgently and took off with his strange flying pokemon. Ruby waved goodbye then turned her attention back to her pokemon.

Rosie watched Bolt as he slowly ate his berry with careful dedication, like it was the most important thing he'd ever done before. Rosie giggled a bit and as he was taking to long she stole the rest of the berry and gobbled it up herself. Shinx jumped back a little, his concentration broken now as he glared at Rosie before smiling and pouncing playfully at her.

Rosie’s eyes grew wide as he came closer, unable to move fast enough his tackle-hug got her and he pinned her down before licking her face. Rosie smiled and tried to push him off without much luck. Bolt stopped licking and smiled widely letting out a joyful squeak to which Rosie tried to mimic, although with not much luck.

The two then stopped as Bolt removed himself from on top of Rosie and their attention turned to the wild Vulpix that was watching them. “SHHII” the electrical lion Pokémon exclaimed looking rather happy. Rosie just smiled politely before jumping up and down then suddenly ran back to Ruby. The Shinx watched her go back safely then turned and smiled again at the Vulpix before racing back to his trainer also, leaving her the option of joining them.

The vulpix watched carefully and curiously as the two Pokemon played and frolicked. It tilted its head this way and that way as the two comedically interacted with one another. Once or twice, the vulpix even stood up as though to join them before sitting down once more and continuing to watch. As the shinx paused and looked to the vulpix, it stood and tilted its head. It was an invitation of sorts, but immediately after the two ran back to the human. Vulpix swaggered a bit, but wanted to know more about these Pokemon. At least the male wasn't there, he was loud and scared it before. With him gone, the vulpix was a bit less wary, and wandered over to meet the stranger and her Pokemon

Ruby stood and watched her pokémon rush towards her, the young girl's eyes went wide as Rosie jumped at her. "Wha!!" She exclaimed then quickly wrapped her arms around the young, grass pokémon so that she didn't fall and hurt herself. Ruby hugged her little pokémon tightly, "You gave me a bit of a scare earlier, you should know better than to just wander off." She said sternly before grinning, "But, you did a good job." Bolt joined them and Ruby looked back to the Vulpix and smiled in a friendly manner.

"Hey there, you're a lovely looking pokémon aren't you?" Ruby said, she now got a better look at the pokémon now it was closer to her, "Wow, your coat is all nice and well cared for too!" She said a little excitedly, then remembering she didn't want to frighten it off she carefully placed the little Budew back on the ground before sitting down again so that she wasn't hovering over the wild, fire pokémon.

Shinx jumped into Ruby's lap and curled up. The small girl began petting her pokémon automatically; she'd been with him so long that she didn't even think about it. Rosie sat down so that she, Ruby and Vulpix made a triangle, making it perfect for seeing everyone at once. The girl pushed her hair out of her face and smiled once more at the wild pokémon, "So, what is it that brought you over here?" Ruby wondered out loud, "Are my pokémon really that interesting?" With that Shinx gave her a small shock, "I meant, yeah, I guess my pokémon are interesting." Ruby corrected herself as she continued to stroke her Shinx.

The vulpix watched curiously at the affection the Pokemon gave to the human. At first, it shook its head completely baffled by the act. They were acting like she was one of them! It sat down where it stood, with a decent distance still between it and the others, but well close enough to hear even a whispered secret.

It took only a few moments, however, to see why they gave such attention. The vulpix nearly cooed at the comment of its pride and joy. Next to its tails, the vulpix nearly constantly groomed its fur to keep it soft and sleek. It seemed to sit with its head a little higher with pride after such a comment. Still, it watched the others as the human spoke, and a bit of a grin coming across its face as the shinx shocked her. It was amusing to it, at the least.

"Vool," it cooed, standing back up and taking a few steps forward. The shinx seemed to like it when it was pet, and the vulpix too wondered what it might be like. It stepped close, but shied away for a moment before lowering its body a bit cautiously, and slinking over next to the trainer.

Ruby was glad the Vulpix was beginning to trust her a bit more, it wasn't often that wild pokémon ever came so close. She stopped petting Shinx for a moment and grinned widely at the little fire pokémon. "Would you like a pat as well?" she asked as she offered her hand to the wild Vulpix. She didn't want to assume so she didn't pet her straight away, instead she waited for the pokémon to make the final decision by getting it to take the last few steps closer she hoped it might feel more in control of the situation.

The young girl glanced over to her Budew, not wanting her to suddenly run off, which she just might. That little grass pokémon was always causing trouble, either running into a pokémon or just generally angering someone by getting in their way. However Rosie seemed to be content right now just sitting there looking at her feet and soaking in the sunshine. Ruby hoped the heat of the island wasn't too much for her, but she seemed fine for now.

The girl then turned back to the Vulpix, her hand remained outstretched in an attempt to make friends with her. Shinx sat up in Ruby's lap, stretched a little, smiled at Vulpix once more and then curled back up and settled down once more. His breathing slowed as he fell asleep in his partner's lap. He trusted her completely to make the right choices from now on and hoped that once he woke the wild fire pokémon would be joining them. He'd actually taken quite a shine to her.

The vulpix sniffed at the girl's hand for a moment, ducking back a bit when she stretched it a bit further. It was obvious the creature wasn't used to humans at all. However, once she stopped moving and waited a moment, the Vulpix again took a step forward, and slowly placed its head under the girl's hand, allowing her to pet it. After all, if a Pokemon could fall asleep in her lap like that the person couldn't be all bad, could it?

Ruby carefully stoked the Vulpix's head, its soft, red hair gently brushing against Ruby's hand. Not wanting to take things too fast with such a pokémon, Ruby continued to simply pet the Vulpix's head for a bit. Bolt cried out a bit, jealous that he was missing out on some attention and wriggled a bit in Ruby's lap, "Oh, hush now Bolt. I haven't forgotten about you." Ruby said to her pokémon in a soothing voice and she used her other hand to stroke her Shinx from head to tail in a gentle motion as she gazed down at her partner.

The sweet, young girl looked back up at the vulpix a few seconds later and smiled gently before making the same motions down the fire pokémon’s back, careful not to accidently brush the brown fur the wrong way, that would be painful. After stroking the wild Vulpix all the way to its tail Ruby stopped and waited to see how it would react, she didn't want to continue in case the pokémon didn't like it. She knew from experience that some pokémon preferred not to be petted and she didn't want the Vulpix to suddenly run off after getting this close to it. Instead she spoke softly to it as she looked it over, "Yup, your fur is in fine condition as soft as silk, you take care of yourself well don't you. I'm sorry for that boy earlier, some humans don't realise that some pokémon don't like loud noise. Heck, I'm a human and I don't like loud noises." Ruby chuckled to herself and smiled again at the Vulpix before glancing over to Rosie who was still content with watching her feet wiggle.
