New place, new adventures

[First RP topic in Ealora and im posting it ]

Laying down on the warm grass of Bolani, Drayr relaxed and stared up in the sky. Then Flayre popped up behind im and smiled in his face, turning a bright red. "Ready to go?" Dray said to his pokemon. In response, it jumped up and down excitedly, and started to try to push Dray up. "Hold on, Flayre." He said while slightly chuckling. He then got up and stretched his back. He bent down, picked up his bad and then said, "Well Flayre, lets get moving!" He ran, with flare following out of town and into the forest, and he had just stepped into a grand adventure.

Ruby was finally here, she had heard so much about this place and was ready and rather excited to get going. Bolt stood by her side looking ready to take on any pokemon, his blue coat sparkling in the sunshine. Rosie was running about chirpily on ruby's other side looking rather excited. They hadn't done much back in Sinnoh as they always seemed to miss the competitions. This was their chance to take on all new challenges. Ruby looked down at her two pokemon and smiled, "Let's do this guys!" She said joyfully.

Ruby looked about, it appeared they'd ended up on the hottest island, well she hoped it was. The heat was just low enough that she could stand it, but any hotter and they probably would have to leave for her Budew. Ruby noticed a young boy that looked a few years older than her in the field with a strange looking pokemon. Before she could say anything Bolt ran for the other trainer and pounced towards him. "BOLT!" Ruby yelled as she chased her pokemon, Rosie trying desperately to keep up.

As he was walking forward, he heard a comotion behind him. He turned around and then saw a strange looking pokemon running towards him at a fast pace. "What in th-" he was saying, but got interrupted by the pokemon's strength as it pounced on him, sending him back into the ground. He was a little dizzy, but the pokemon was standing on his chest and was looking at him with a happy look. Its tongue was sticking out at him as it seemed to be panting. Then his Flayre looked concerned and then got infront of the pokemon's view of me. It started to growl and show its dominance. Dray said, "Its alright, Flayre," he patted the top of its head, and it cooled down. "It was just playing that's all."

Ruby ran to catch up and panted as she reached the trainer, "S-s-sorry." She stammered as she caught her breath, "Bolt doesn't know when to leave people alone." She picked her Shinx up and gave him a harsh look before setting him back down on the ground. Shinx looked apologetic to the other trainer and sat down. Rosie eventually caught up and fell down, exhausted after such a dash. Ruby sighed and returned her Budew to her pokeball so she could rest before glancing at the other trainer again and offering her hand to help him up, "Sorry again, I'm Ruby by the way."

Drayer laughed out loud for a second and then sat up, supporting himself by having both his arms behind him. "Its fine." He told her. "My name is Drayr, but you can call me Dray." He then glanced to the odd pokemon that tackled him, and then commented, "Thats a strange pokemon. I've never seen it before." He then looked at her in the eyes and asked, "And come to think of it I haven't seen you around her before, are you new in the island?"

Ruby nodded, "Yeah, we're from the Sinnoh region." She knelt down and petted her Shinx, I come from a family of breeders so I've seen nearly every type of pokemon...yours however..." She stood up again and turned to look at the strange pokemon, "I've never seen anything like it..." Ruby could hardly believe that there may be a pokemon she didn't know about. Bolt called from beside her, "Hmm...What is it Bolt?" She asked looking back to her own pokemon. He had a strange look on his face that told her that something was nearby. Ruby looked to see what he was staring at. It was a __________.

A small fox like creature with six tails seemed to have spotted the humans, and had taken an aggressive stance. It could be seen baring its teeth, growling a bit with its fur prickling to try making itself seem bigger than it was. It had a berry sitting next to its foot with teeth marks in it. Seems it was trying to hide the food for later when it spotted the 'intruders'.

"Hm?" Dray questioned when he saw both of their pokemon looking in that direction. "Oh look. It's a vulpix!" Dray walked over to it, and tried to pet it. It bit at his hand, but draw pulled it out of the way, before it was bitten. "It must be angry," Dray said as he noticed it. "I wonder what about though..." His Falron caught up to him and then sensed that the vulpix was angry immediately, and it backed away.

(You can't control the actions of the Vulpix or how my Shinx was friendly as this is godmodding...that's twice in a row, don't do it a third time.)

“Oh wow a Vulpix!” Ruby exclaimed at the sight of it, then remembering they were usually shy creatures she quietened down. She had two options fight and capture it that way or try be nice and befriend it. Ruby chose the latter, it was kinder that way. She’d always felt bad for attacking Rosie on the spot like that and wanted to make friends with Pokémon, not attack them for the hell of it. Ruby decided it best if she didn’t go up to it herself, instead she sent Bolt in to greet it. She hoped that the little fox Pokémon would get on with her rather friendly Shinx. Bolt crept up slowly and low trying to show that the Vulpix had dominance over it.

The vulpix could be seen shaking a bit as its muscles tensed, still baring its teeth as it watched cautiously the approaching Pokemon. However, it was holding itself in a rather submissive state, avoiding eye contact and staying low. This may have saved the shinx from the vulpix attacking it as a threat. Still, it could be seen it was uneasy as it stepped forward in front of its food.

Dray didn't say anything in fear that he may ruin the moment between the pokemon. He just sat back and watched what was unfolding. His Flayre, on the other hand, wanted to make friends with the pokemon. So it walked up next to shinx and then smiled at it, and let out a soft "Faaaa" At the vulpix.

Bolt found this very annoying and glared at the floating pokémon before turning back to face the Vulpix. He took quick note that the wild fire pokémon was moving forward to protect its food. Bolt sat down a few metres from Vulpix so as not to intrude too far in case it decided to attack anyway. The little electric pokémon then rolled onto his back and began to play with his spiky yellow tail by wagging it and tapping it with his paw. He did this hoping to show that he was friendly and playful whilst proving he was no threat to the Vulpix's food.

The vulpix growled a bit more as a second Pokemon approached, eyes darting between the two. It apparently thought hey were ganging up on it. However, once the Shinx sat down and rolled over, the Vulpix also sat down. It watched the Shinx, keeping an eye on the floating Pokemon to the side from the corner of its eye. Its head tilted as the shinx acted like a hatchling, playing with its own tail as though it were a dangling toy.

Ignoring the Shinx, as it was trying to challenge it, Flayre floated past it and started floating around the Vulpix in circles.

"I don't think that our pokemon get along very well..." Dray told Ruby while observing the occurrence.

Ruby's brown hair blew gently in the warm wind as she watched the flying pokemon approach the Vulpix. Ruby sighed, "I don't think so either, but if your pokemon keeps that up Vulpix is going to run away before I even get a chance to talk to it." She glanced at Drayr, "Can you call him back?" She pleaded she'd always wanted a pokemon like Vulpix and she wasn't going to just let this chance slide idily by. Ruby looked back as Bolt stopped playing around and glared at Flayre. If Flayre got to close he was prepared to attack him, there was no way he'd let Ruby down. He had to let her get close to Vulpix no matter what.

The vulpix quickly grew back to its aggressive stance, the flying Pokemon flying well within its danger zone. It was obvious with its bristled fur that it was far more agitated than before. As the Farlon flew around, the vulpix snapped its teeth at it in warning, backing up to stand directly over its berry. It was clearly not happy about it.

"Nah," Dray said while still observing the sceen, "Its fine. This vulpix wont run, because it's guarding a berry." He noticed that it was standing over a round object. He knew that Flayre would do the right thing.

While floating around, it saw the berry that the Vulpix was guarding. Flayre thought about it, and then knew exactly what to do. It stopped floating around vulpix, and dashed into the nearby bushes. A few moments later, it emerged with multiple berries on its head. It floated in front of the vulpix and then gently let them roll off of its head, as they landed by the vulpix's feet. It floated back to see Vulpix's reaction.

"Mhm..." Ruby said watching and wondering whether or not that would actually work. Bolt grew more agitated with the Flarye. It was just angering the little pokemon by getting too close. The shinx lay down and watched as the farlon collected more berries for the Vulpix and sighed. He was unsure if the Vulpix would take to kindly to 'offerings'. Not knowing the island well enough Bolt decided to keep to his approach and just act kindly and keep his distance till the Vulpix was finished with its meal.

Instead of taking the berries, the Vulpix slowly backed away while pulling its own berry along with one of its paws. It obviously wasn't interested in the offerings of a strange Pokemon that smelled of humans. Not that strange, considering they weren't in a heavily populated area. The Vulpix obviously wasn't used to humans.

Flayre pouted, sad that it failed to become the vulpix's friend. It floated slowly and sadly back to Dray, and then dropped in his lap. It looked at him with sad eyes. "It's alright," he said while stroking Flayre's fluff, "It just probably wasn't hungry."

Bolt was glad to see the puffball leave; he was just making matters worse the longer he stayed. The shinx then continued to lie down and watch the Vulpix. He looked at the bunch of berries which looked rather delicious and he was tempted to just walk on up and gobble some. However Bolt fought against the urge as he didn't want to appear greedy. Instead he came just a tiny bit closer and began playing again. He flicked his tail about and chased it. Bolt then turned to face the Vulpix and smiled as in asking for it to join in the game.

Ruby watched her electric pokemon as he attempted to persuade Vulpix into joining them for a little while then lay back on the ground and gazed at the sky. She didn't want to interfere with Bolt's progress and simply decided that watching could make the Vulpix feel nervous and she didn't want that.

The vulpix was closely guarding its single berry, standing over it as it watched the other Pokemon. When the shin again tried its charming display, the vulpix seemed less swayed. Perhaps because the last time it was tried the other Pokemon charged in. It seemed to think it was a trick now, and had its ears back, alert.

Dray was watching the Shinx and then yawned. He stood up, and then looked down at Ruby. "Im going inside to get something to eat," he said while Flayer floated up with exitement, and softly landed on his head, "Its that house right there." He pointed to the house that was nearest to the forest. "Call me if something happens." He jogged towards the house, and then entered it.

Bolt sighed and laid down looking rather upset that the Vulpix didn’t want to play with him. He lowered his head onto the ground and flicked a nearby berry with his paw revealing his boredom.

Ruby was still lying on the ground watching the clouds roll by when Rosie escaped from her pokeball. Ruby didn’t even notice as the little grass Pokémon made its way towards Bolt and the Vulpix, tripping many times as it advanced. Eventually Rosie made it to the pile of berries left by Flarye and she sat down and began to nibble at one in delight. By the time Bolt realised Rosie was there it was far too late as the Budew didn’t even seem to realise that there was a wild fire Pokémon nearby and had made her way rather close to it.

Fear washed over Bolt's face, he wasn't afraid that the Vulpix would run away anymore, he was scared that Budew might et hurt. He watched, if Vulpix tried to attack he'd step in and take it.

The vulpix was about to pick up its berry and run, when it saw a little green Pokemon pop out from a burst of light. It was a bit confused, and scurried back a few steps as the baby Pokemon stumbled over to the pile of berries. It had a look on its face of confusion as it sat down, staring at the little creature. It didn't even notice the vulpix! Vulpix snorted, how could budew just ignore it like that?! Vulpix walked over to the budew, and made a little yipping sound to alert the budew to its presence. For some reason, Vulpix didn't like how oblivious Budew was to it.
