A New Adventure (Shaunic)

Courtney slowly awoke to the bright shine of the sun through her opened window. It was rather early in the morning, near nine O'clock. Courtney rubbed her eyes and smiled softly at her Charmander, Kokushibyou or Koku for short, who was lying on her bed, also just waking up. "Good morning Koku." Courtney said as she got up and got her clothes that she was going to change into. Kokushibyou yawned and tried to go back to sleep as his response. Courtney giggled quietly to herself as she went into the bathroom and took a shower.

(After she's done with getting ready)
Courtney smiled as she walked over to Koku, who had finally went back to sleep. She gently picked him up and headed downstairs to get her bag. Koku stirred slightly when he was picked up but didn't show any sign of waking up.

Once Courtney got her bag and Koku finally woke up again, she headed out of her quiet and lonely house and began walking through the area known as Pallet Town. She continued wandering around, looking for a specific person.

Shaunic was walking and then he saw a girl. Mabey about sixteen and said "Hi there whats your name?" After that Tepig ran infront of him. "Sorry about that Tepig is very protective of me for a strange reason." Then he said "So my name is Shaunic! Again what is your name?" He said smilling

Courtney turned around as someone, a boy around ten, said hi and asked for her name. As she was going to respond, the boy's Tepig got in front of him in a protective stance. 'He's like Koku, the protective part.' She thought, chuckling slightly.

"Hello Shanic. It's nice to meet you. I'm Courtney and this is my buddy Kokushibyou." Courtney said with a smile while she indicated to the Charmander, who had his eyes narrowed slightly at the two and was standing slightly in front of Courtney, as Kokushibyou. He was looking the two over, making sure they wouldn't hurt his friend/trainer, seeing as the two held a very close bond since Courtney pretty much saved the poor Charmander who had been abandoned by his old trainer and was hurt badly.

Shaunic got tired of Tepig looking like he was about to attack. So he said "Come on tepig dont be such a meanie come back by my side!" Tepig looked and smilled and said "Tepig!" And ran right by him. "Hi courtney! Are you a new tranier too?" He siad

Courtney watched the Tepig go from a defensive stance to stand by the boys side. She softly smiled at the scene and glanced at Kokushibyou. He, for reasons unknown to Courtney, was slightly smirking. Most likely because he had gotten into the habit of smirking. "Yes." Courtney said as she turned back to face Shaunic as she then asked, "So I'm guessing you were about to head out on your journey?" Hm....he's also a new trainer...at least I think. Cool. She thought.

Shaunic said "Yea i am actually. Im going straight to the top! And by the top i mean im going to be a pokemon master!" Shaunic then looked at courtney and said "Hey want to join me on my adventure? It would be awsome! we can both catch pokemon collecting badges along the way! How about it courtney?"

Courtney chuckled slightly at Shaunic's enthusiasm. "Hehe, sure. It might be fun going on a journey with you." She said as she smiled softly. She then glanced at Koku to see him grinning. He obviously thought this would entertaining. How ironic. We ran into each other, both starting on our journeys. Eh, this shall be fun to say the least. I just hope Koku and Tepig don't start fighting. They probably won't though....Hopefully. Courtney thought as she glanced at the two Pokemon.

Shaunic said "Okay lets go and start our adventure! Shaunic said (Sorry for the short post. You might want to get pokeballs cause next topic im catching pokemon)

Courtney nodded, giggling slightly as a soft smile graced her lips. "Lets." She said quietly, agreeing with the ten year old boy or now, her traveling partner. She then grabbed his hand and ran off, heading to the direction of the tall grass, hoping to catch another pokemon. Koku running right beside her.
