Heading Straight Forward! [MOD REQ.]

Blaine went to the pokemon center first thing upon his arrival at the gym.
The boy went straight to the PC. He contacted his PC server, and withdrew Crimgan pokeball from the server. He had only 3 pokemon in his hand so he did not have to deposit one to make place. "You're gonna do great Druddigon!"He grinned and walked out, heading to the gym next.
He knocked on the door gently, but then, he knocked a 100 times real hard.
BANG BANG BANG!
He began to get impatient and decided to annoy the gym leader.
He knocked harder and faster. BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG!!!

Misty opened the door.
"It was open, y'know; you could have just come in," she said disdainfully.
Inside was a large room. The floor in the middle of the room seemed to be made up of two large, steel squares, but the outside of the floor was stone. Across the room from the front door was an odd office-looking thing.

"No sense of hospitality" Blaine grinned, jokingly. "I thought this was a water-type gym, there isn't a water pool or anything" He took a small book out of his bag. The book had a green cover with a pokeball symbol in a darker green. on the bottom right of the book, a Bulbasaur's bulb is carved. The title read 'Bulbapedia'. The book was small, yet bold. He showed a page to her.

The image showed the battleground of the gym, along with art of it's leader standing at the end. It also mentions water pools all over the battle field.

"Oh, that was an old photo, taken tears ago..." said Misty, grinning mischievously, "this is the gym now. Heh heh..." She paused, reveling in her own wit. Snapping out of it, she declared, "So! Are we gonna do this thing or what?"

"No water....No fish pokemon?"
He thought, confused. He snapped out of it and grinned.
"Alright, bring it!"
He took a pokeball from his slleve, and held it towards her until the battle is declared.

"It's on!" said Misty, releasing a Staryu from its Poke Ball. It landed on the metal and took on a defensive position, obviously used to the metal.
"You, the challenger, may go first," said Misty, bowing.

"Still.. a metal in a water gym is weird."
He murmured, and threw out his pokeball; his Combusken!
"Combusken, use ember at the metal" Combusken used ember, like said, on the metal, heating it up slowly.

The metal began heating up, but a simple Ember move wouldn't be quite enough to melt it.
Misty shrugged at Blaine's choice of Pokemon.
"Staryu, use Water Gun," she called. Staryu bubbled up a great amount of water in its mouth and spat it straight at Combusken.

Combusken's Speed Boost raised it's speed!
"Combusken, Hold on, use Focus energy!" Blaine called.
Combusken, not knowing what he was up to, did ashow she was told. She began pumping her energy! The watergun striked Combusken on its stomach. Being super effective, the move did a great amount of damage, but Combusken stood standing!

"That went well enough. Staryu, Water Gun again," said Misty. Staryu shot another large bubble of water at Combusken's face.

Combusken's Speed boost raised it's speed!
"Combusken, Dodge, and use Double Kick!"
Combusken dodged the water with great speed, and charged towards Staryu at great speed too! Combusken raised her leg to kick the Staryu!

Staryu was kicked straight up in the air by the first kick, and the second one sent it flying away towards the strange office at the east side of the gym.
"Staryu, as long as you're over there..." called Misty. Staryu nodded. It cartwheeled into the office, which was easier for it than walking, and typed something into a console on the wall.
Suddenly, the metal floor began to rumble. It seemed to crack in half, right down the middle. The crack grew wider and wider. After a couple of seconds, the crack was wide enough for a car to fit in. Under the metal floor was a massive pool- the metal was just a cover. Staryu came rolling back like a lost bicycle wheel.
"Ha HA!" laughed Misty triumphantly, "You were right not to believe what you thought you saw. Staryu, get in that water and use Water Gun again."
Staryu rolled right into the water and swam across the quickly widening gap between Misty and Blaine. When it was only feet from Blaine's side, Staryu jumped into the air and used Water Gun at Combusken's face.

"There's something you forgot" Blaine grinned and nodded at Combusken.
Combusken's Speed Boost raised it's Speed!
She used ember down, at the water, and then, raised her feet and spun them around, forming a variation of flame wheel, similar, but is not, since it is made by combining Ember with her double kick variation. The huge flame soon surrounding her, provided a guard from The Staryu's attack. The water gun was caught in it, and began spinning around, soon then, evaporating. Combusken tried to use that strategy to evaporate some of the water to make it hot, but, at the same time, shewas trying to attack Staryu with the spinning flames. Combusken was trying to either evaporate the water, or make it form a mist of some sort. "I actually came here, with my strategy based on the water" Blaine kept his grin.

[any rocks or stuff to stand on in the water?]

(A couple of small platforms like stepping stones strategically placed at locations around the water so that they can be jumped to and from.)
Misty was irked by this development but she continued on with determination.
"Staryu," she called, weighing the odds of the next attack's success, "use Tackle." Staryu swam back and forth in the water, moving closer to Combusken. Suddenly, it leaped, throwing itself straight at Combusken's face.

[Is the water hot now?]
Combusken used the flames to lift herself from it to a rock, dodging staryu's attack. Combusken used focus Energy again!

(Lukewarm, but it will take a couple more posts to be HOT hot.)
Staryu swam back and forth, waiting for Misty's instruction.
"Staryu, use Rapid Spin. Try to get rid of that fire!" said Misty, gesturing at the fire surrounding Combusken. Staryu swam deep under water. Seconds later, it shot straight up in the air surrounded in a huge bubble of water. It began to spin, and by the time it had began to fall, Rapid Spin was in full swing. Staryu dive-bombed Combusken!

"G-gaah!" Blaine yelped, as Combusken's fire turned out, giving combusken just enough time to jump out to evade the attack .Thanks to his Speed Boost ability. But, his luck was soon to end. Combusken went off-balance in mid-air! She hit her head hard on a rock and fell into the water. Combusken struggled, but then was soon shown to be defeated. Blaine returned Combusken. "Good job"
He then took out his Druddigon. "Jump on the rock" Druddigon jumped from his pokeball, and landed on a rock. "Crimmgan!"

"Use Rapid Spin again, Staryu!" called Misty, noting how powerful it had been last time. Staryu immediately responded, throwing itself out of the water and straight at the opposing Druddigon, arms whirling in circles.

"Druddigon, use Dragon Rage!!" Blaine ordered. Druddigon did not hhesitate to charge back at the Staryu. Druddigon used Dragon Rage and charged at the Staryu in mid-air!

(The attack had not hit yet, he is planning to use dragon rage while Staryu is in mid air using the attack, its like, a counter)

The Dragon Rage attack hit, but Staryu plowed straight through it regardless of the damage it gained, still heading right for Druddigon.

Crimgan roared, and without orders, ducked, Staryu hit him on the head! Staryu took damage from Rough Skin ability! (It isn't god modding, that cannot be avoided anyway now can it?)
Crimgan recklessly used Dragon Rage again, ignoring the pain!!

Dragon Rage hit Staryu, who was getting quite low on health.
"The best defense is a good offense, Staryu! Use Water Gun!"
Staryu puffed outward as it filled its gem with water. The water exploded outward, shooting itself straight at the Druddigon!

Druddigon hopped in time, to a rock to the north west of him. The attack hit, but only on the hands, so was not a direct hit. Druddigon used his legs to collect force from the rocks jumped, and leaped at staryu with another Dragon Rage.

The attack was just enough for Staryu to faint. It fell over and lay motionless on the water's surface. (Your EXP has been edited.)
"No! Staryu!" cried Misty. She grimaced, returning it.
"Oh well, you won't be any match for Starmie! Come on out here, Starmie!" she yelled, sounding just like a game show host. Starmie popped out of its Poke Ball and spun its back section menacingly.

"Hmph" Blaine didn't seem worried the slightest. "Crimgan, come back!"
He returned his druddigon back into it's pokeball. "Go Croconaw!" croconaw landed on a rock, and the rock cracked. "Crocoonaaww!!" He roared, now also staring right back at Starmie, keeping his menacing look. It looked rather scary. (Scary Face)
Blaine grinned, ready to move.
