One dark dream: Team Dream attacks

They called her Nova. She was the Shadow Commander of Team Dream, aiming to outrun the actual commander, and to outdo him, she had to defeat the Unova Elite Four. That was a simple fact, to her. She was battling the Striathon Gym, but the battle was interrupted. In fact, Nova had beat the three of those Gym leaders before, but her Vadges were stolen so she had to do it again.

Behind her were some Grunts, she said to them, "Im getting a Badge, go and investigate the Musharna we just caught at the Dreamyard" she instructed, and the Grunts immediately took off, "Now time to crush three Gym leaders who need to style their hair better" she muttered to herself as she walked into the Striathon Gym.

Inside the Gym, there was a puzzle where you had to select the type which has an advantage on the type on a curtain and the curtain would open. Nova despised it, it seemed so childish. "Go Sawk, open those curtains with brute strength" she whispered and Sawk obediently did so. A non trainer or new trainer would say that Sawk was incredibly strong. However, the truth was that Sawk was by far Nova's weakest Pokemon and mostly just covered up her stronger Pokemon.

Once she reached the three Gym leaders she nodded at them, "I am back, lets not have words, we will speak through battle" she said professionally as Sawk stepped onto the battling area, "Now send out all your dogs to fight my Sawk" she grinned "I want to beat you all with one Pokemon again," even though that 'one Pokemon' was her weakest, and if she had have used any othe Pokemon she would have won without even putting effort in.

"Alright, then," said the three brothers in creepy unison. Inside they felt much less confident than they tried to portray, all three of them remembered Nova. They all sent out their Lillipup at once, pointing at Sawk. The Lillipup formed a circle around Sawk, then all three pounced at once, using Bite.

Outside, Fiercen Gray released a pink and purple Pokemon from a black Poke Ball.
"Well, well, look what we have here," he said, smiling at the shivering Musharna. Absol padded up to the Musharna and smelled it. Three grunts came running up to Fiercen.
"Ah, good. I assume Nova sent you?" he asked, returning the Musharna. Without waiting for an answer he said, "Wonderful. Take this-" he threw one of the grunts Musharna's Ball- "and bring it back to the base. They'll have plenty of, ah, uses for it there."

"Hmm, unison attacking" said Nova, to herself, "Well I can counter that, I am going to go for the dog on the right, "She smiled, evilly pointing at th Lillipup to Sawk's right, "Lets kick that dog until it drops" yells Nova, and Sawk immediately responds by using Double Kick on that Lillipup, attempting to drive it into the water.

Meanwhile, outside, all five of the Grunts walked outside, looking at Musharna's Poke Ball, whisperribg things about it's possibilities. They met up with some more Grunts, who took the Poke Ball off them, "I will take it to base" one said, "The rest of you keep going."

The Lillipup was Cress's. It fell out of the air on the first kick, and the second one almost knocked it out.
Cress grimaced.
"Do it again!" he exclaimed, flipping his wacky blue hair out of his eyes. The Bite didn't work as well now because the others weren't attacking; they had just told their Lillipup to use Work Up. Cress's Lillipup jumped at Sawk again, his jaws wide.

Sawk was hit by the Lillipups Bite, and Nova noticed the other two Lillipups staying back, "Theyre smart" she said, smilling evilliy. Then she looked at the annoying Liilipup biting her Sawk, "Double Kick its lights out!" yelled Nova and Sawk obediently turned to Cress's Lillipup and started the kicking.

((Nope, just twice. In Black I had a Sawk in that knew that move- at first I thought it was a 2-5 move, but repeated use showed me that it is not.))

The attack knocked Lillipup out. Cress returned the unconscious Pokemon and sent out Panpour.
"Bite!"
"Bite!"
"Fury Swipes!" yelled the brothers. Their Pokemon leaped, Panpour wielding its claws, the two Lillipup opening their jaws wide.

"That monkey should get a new haircut" snarled Nova, aiming to anger Cress, then yelled "Sawk, use Low Sweep on another dog" but Sawk got caught in the face with two Fury Swipes from the Lillipups, and then only Panpour hadnt struck it, so Sawk changed its mind and ducked under Panpours attack and sweeped it, intending to trip it over.

It worked and Panpour tumbled to the ground. As he was getting up, Cilan and Chili each told their Lillipup to use Bite again.

"Sawk, Double Kick the two Lillipups to their doom!" Nova yelled as Sawk did a 180 and saw the two Lillipups coming to Bite him. Cress's one hit, but Sawk kicked Cilan's one before it could hit, then launcjed another kick at it. "Excellent, Sawk, lets defeat them all."

It was a critical hit on Cilan's Lillipup, and it fainted. With a determinedly neutral expression, Cilan returned him and took hold of Pansage's Poke Ball.
"Sorry, Pansage," he muttered, and Pansage erupted from the Ball with a "Sage!"
"Use Vine Whip," called Cilan to Pansage.
"Use Water Gun," called Cress to Panpour.
"Use Bite," called Chili to Lillipup.

Sawk wa hit by a spray of water, a strong vine and the teeth of a Lillipup before it could move. "He is tired" commented Nova, "At least finish og the final Lillipup, Sawk use Double Kick!" Sawk slowly rose to his feet. Then it jumped towards Lillipup and landed next to it with a thud, then, still spinning, struck Lillipup with its foot then, still spinning, struck with another. It then stopped spinning to face Pansage and Panpour, ready to block their attacks.

Chili's Lillipup went down. Sawk leveled up!
Wordlessly, Chili released Pansear in a flash of blue lights. Pansear went to stand next to its elemental monkey brethren.
"Water Gun!"
"Vine Whip!"
"Incinerate!"
The water from the Water Gun shot forward towards Sawk. But before it got there, the vines from Vine Whip shot forth and absorbed it, making them grow in size and power. Finally, seconds before it was due to collide, the Incinerate attack caught onto the vines and they began to burn. So it was an enlarged, extra-powerful, flaming, whipping vine.

Sawk was struck by the incredibly strong combination attack of the three elemental monkeys. Sawk was sent flying across almost the whole room. There was no way that Sawk could defeat all three monkeys. "Watch this Sawk" said Nova and Sawk walked back and Nova threw out another Poke Ball, and ina flash of red light, Throh came out, "Now, Throh" commander Nova, "Show Sawk and those monkeeys oer there how its done" and Throh obeyed, sprinting directly at Pansear and used Vital Throw, attempying to throw it into Pansage and subsequently make them both hit the wall. Sawk watched Throh admiringly.

The attack was executed exactly as planned. Pansear crashed into Pansage and the two flew spectacularly through the air, slamming into the opposite wall. When they slid to the ground, it was obvious that they had been knocked unconscious, and Chili and Cilan returned them. Sawk and Throh each gained some EXP, since both had fought the now-fainted monkeys- Sawk even gained another level. The two defeated brothers turned to watch their brother's cowering Panpour.
"Uh... Water Gun?" Cress nervously commanded. Panpour spat some water lamely at Throh.

The Water Gun hit, but did next-to-nothing to Throh. "Finish it, Throh, use Storm Throw to throw it to the ground, with such a high bounce that the monkey hits the roof" yelled Nova, and Throh obeyed, sprinting up to Panpour and grabbing at it, spinning like a discus thrower before attempting to hold it and throw it to the ground.

Cress couldn't watch. He turned away and just heard the "Panpour!" and sickening thud he made against the ground, and Cress knew that it was finished. Turning back around to face Nova, Cress returned Panpour's limp body. Sawk and Throh gained 7 EXP each. Cress couldn't even speak; he just handed over the Trio Badge, Work Up(TM) and $5,040- $1,680 from each Gym Leader.

"Thank you, men. It has been an honour to challenge you." Nova said as she left the Gym, Sawk and Throh following behind her. Outside she saw some Grunts, and so she pulled out two Poke Balls, "Take these to be healed" instructed Nova, giving a Grunt a Poke Ball and the Grunt nodded and scurried off. Nova walked back yo the Dreamyard, now Musharna-lees, "I should find Fearcen" Nova said to herself, and wanderes off to where the Grunts all were, to find Fearcen.

Fiercen dropped out of the sky on Volcarona, who was using Fly.
"Return, Volcarona," he said, drawing her back into her Poke Ball.
"You wanted me?" he asked Nova, brushing a strand of hair out of his face.

"Yes" Nova said, smiling. "Do I have your permission to take six Grunts up to Nacrene, and we will rob the museum of anything valuable to Team Dream, like that stone." However, the real reason was to beat Aloe and get a Badge so she could overthrow Fearcan quicker, but Fearcen didnt need to know that.

"I suppose so," said Fiercen, evaluating the worth of Nacrene Museum's most valuable treasures. He flipped open his phone and called a video chat with HQ.
"Team Dream! I need six of you to accompany my second in command to, ah, acquire some goods from Nacrene City." He began pointing to various grunts around the room. "I want you, you, you, you, you and you- no, not you, him. No next to you- that's not even one of us, get her out of there and modify her memory- that's a Trubbish- YES, you. Meet us in Striaton City in about... now." As he flipped the phone closed he saw the assigned grunts stand. He rolled his eyes at Nova.
"Some of those grunts, right? The brains of a soup can... Ah, here they are," he said as the six grunts arrived on various vehicles and Pokemon.

"Thank you, Fearcen" replied Nova, turning to her six new Grunts, four male and two females. One of the males was holfing a Poke Ball in his hand, thr rest of the Grunts standing alongside him. "Come with me" said Nova, as she walked off towards Nacrene City, the six Grunts following her. They didnt stop until they reached Wellspring Cave, "Ah, my Wellspring Cave" said Nova, smiling, "Where I got to my current strength. Two of thr Grunts looked eager to go in, but Nova stoo in their way, "We have buisness to do," and continued walking.
