Vermillion City: The Port City (Ethan)

Cobalt and Terrie emerged on a route North of Vermillion
"I guess it isn't too far now" said Cobalt, still holding Terries Hand. He could see the tops of the buildings in the Distance. Wig stood beside Chikorita

Terrie smiled at him, and began walking. Chikorita did the same. "We should train before we battle him.", she said.

"Yeah" said Cobalt. He was aware that Lt.Surge used Electric Type pokmon so Rani needed to get a boost in level. Apra also needed to be strong enough to fight effectively aswell just incase."I'll start training Apra, you can look around for wild pokemon" said Cobalt. He decided to Train Apra by having it attack inanimate Objects

"I'm definetely using Pichu, but who to use with him.", she said as he egg began to glow.

Cobalt stopped infront of a Tree. He let Apra out of her Pokeball
"Ok Apra, Today we start your Training" said Cobalt.
"Lap, Lapras" (Yay, i'll learn to battle) it replied, smiling and clapping.
"Start with Water Gun on that Tree" called Cobalt and Apra fired a Jet of water at the Tree

Th egg hatched into a Skarmory. "Hey, a Skarmory.", she said as she looked it. "I wonder what you know.", she said smiling.

"keep that up" said Cobalt as Apra continued attacking the Tree with Water Gun

Skarmory started Peck at one of the trees. "Riley, let's have a double battle; Wig and Rani vs Chikorita and Pichu?", she asked.

"huh...That was a bit random but...Yeah" he said, recalling Apra for now and letting out Wig and Rani
"OK Guys, we're battling Terrie now in a double battle" said Cobalt "She might be our friend but that's not an excuse to go easy" he said. Both Wig and Rani were ready to battle

Chikorita showed her leaf off, trying to distract Wig. Pichu jumped off Terrie's head, running at Rani, and using Thunderwave as Chikorita walked up to Wig, showing off and letting Poison Powder come out.

Wig was hit by the powder and poisoned
Rani was also paralysed

"Come on Guys, stay focused" he called "Use Razor Leaf and Stomp" called Cobalt. Wig retaliated to Chikorita and sued Razor Leaf. Rani tried to jump up and stomp on Pichu

Pichu dodged Rani and jumped onto her head. Pichu used Thundershock on Rani's head.

Chikorita countered Wih's Razor Leaf with her own.

The leaves hit each other in the air, the fell slowly to the ground
"Use Tackle Wig" called Cobalt and Wig tried to run up and ram Chikorita

The Thundershock hit Rani and she took some damage
"Use headbutt" called Cobalt and ani tried to get Pichu to get off by headbutting the Ground and Rocks

Pichu would jump off Rani's head everytime she tried to ram into rocks and such.


Chikorita was hit, and sent flying backwards, and faked being injured to try and draw the poisoned Wig in. "That's it team!", she yelled.

Wig was transfixed by what he had done
"no...No...NO Wig, it's a trick, use Razor Leaf again" called Cobalt and Wig shook his head and shot more razor Sharp leaves at Chikorita

Chikorita was hit again, and this time couldn't get up.

Pichu Landed on Rani's back, and used Thundershock.

Rani took damage. It stopped moving due to paralysis

Wig was ready incase Chikorita was bluffing again. It turned it's head when it didn't get back up
"Then help Rani, use Razor Leaf" called Cobalt and it tried to fire more leaves at Pichu this time

Chikorita quickly used Synthesis, and jumped in the way of the Razor Leaf attack, and used her own leaf to deflect the attack.

Pichu continued usng Thundershock.

Rani kept taking damage and was left quite weak now
"Grr...shake it off Rani!" said Cobalt and Ranu began Running around to throw Pichu off

"Wig, use Tackle again" called Cobalt and Wig tried to ram Chikorita again to get pastr it and attack Pichu

Pichu flew off, landing on Wig. "Pichu, use Thundershock.", Terrie said as Pichu tried to shock the running pokemon. Chikorita dodged and launched some leaves at Rani.

Wig took a bit of damage but it was mostly nulified by it's Grass Type
Rani was hit, and running on very little energy now

"OK, An all out atatck on Chikorita Go, Razor Leaf and Crunch" called Cobalt as both Wig and rani tried to attack Chikorita

You forgot about Pichu!", she yelled as Pichu completed a chain as Rani Crunched Chikorita and Pichu grabbed Wig's and chikorita's leaf, and let out a devastating Thundershock, while Chikorita used Synthesis.

Turtwig was hurt again, but still standing
A Grin appeared on Cobalt's face "Absorb!" he called and Turtwig should have been able to sap energy from Pichu from such a close distance

Pichu gave Wig energy alright, electric energy as she jumped onto him and shocked him again. Chikorita used poison powder while Rani was close up.

Rani fainted from the poison.
Wig took more damage with th Thundershock and the Poison. Sudenly it's Overgrow activated again.
"Now Use razor Leaf on Pichu" said Wig, who was now left alone on the field
