Aiko is a confident and optimistic girl who especially likes pokemon whos appearances are cutesy or very pretty to look at. She loves making friends with nearly everyone she meets. What she thinks is most important when training pokemon is how much the pokemon trust and love their trainer, rather then just focusing on making their base stats stronger. Sometimes, if nearby a river or some other body of water, she might sit at the edge with her pokemon and just sit in the calming quietness, listening to the rest of the world pass by.

   [b]Battle Style:[/b]
Her strategy for battle is to have each of her pokemon have different typed moves so that she may use type advantages against her opponents. She also usually prefers her pokemon to not have stat changing moves such as leer.

   [b] Past Experience / History [/b]
She was born and raised in Cherrygrove city. When she was little, she liked heading to the nearby beach or into the forests to explore and watch the wild pokemon in the area. While she was there, she saw Chikorita running from Porfessor Elm, who had called to her for help. Her mother didn't want her leave the house until she was eleven because of the news talking about shady men and women (team rocket) running around.
She doesn't like ghost type pokemon that much, mostly because when she goes wandering, her mother sends her haunter to watch her in case anything happens. She would be willing to do almost anything to get her hands on some star pieces to put together, wanting to have a star of her own for good luck. She dreams of one day traveling to the hoenn region after beating the pokemon league to see what the pokemon contests are like, maybe even participate in them.
