Aito like every human being has an array of emotions and through his life has and will repeat a generic cycle of each one.  Each has emotion manifesting in unique ways through out the many different circumstances that life has and will continue to throw at him.  Each scenario no matter how similar would most likely be met with different reactions depending on the difference hidden within the circumstance.  With this in mind it is almost impossible to give a full description of how Aito would act without listing the millions of different circumstances.  Below will describe three to four bases of his personality.  Aito's Base personality is generally one of  vibrant warm male whom enjoys the company and adoration of others,  for one who has been trained in obedience and discipline through the art of ninjitsu,  it doesn't seem to show in his behaviour what so ever,  in fact it's as if it never existed in the first place. He is kind hearted though has been known to become angered rather quickly when feelings of disgust towards a person circulate this anger can explode and his warm demeanour can become incredibly cold resembling an element of ice.  He is inquisitive and nosey,  pushing his nose in to other people's business. In battle if it is simply a spar or for fun his vibrant demeanour remains.

When in serious battles his shine I presence shines through,  his presence vanishes,  he halts his breathing become silent.  His entire body becomes still upon the beginning of battle.  He attunes himself to the breathing and movements of his own pokemon,  the two become one as if the minds and spirit become one.  He holds his pokemon bonds and personalities within him.  There spirits entertwined, he performs his movements,  his battles with dignity and respect,  a true ninja in battle reflected through the skills of his pokemon. In pokemon contests he combines his shinobi training and flexibility with the unique movements of his pokemon.  He enjoys putting on a show and hopes that if his performance can ignite passion in another then he will forever enjoy his task.

Battle Style:

Aito has chosen a semi popular way of battling and showing off his pokemon.  He uses the power of bug and poison type pokemon.  This means he has to use strategy well due to the low attack power of the poison and bug types.  His strategy revolves around sacking life from targets depleting hp with poison and life absorbing abilities.

Past Experience / History:

Aito was born in Sandgem  town in the hoenn  region of the pokemon world,  though born he was only living in this town for three years,  during these three years his mother passed after a tragic accident.  The accident as it was named was nothing more than the aggressive movements of a drunk man.  It just so happened that the drunk man was Aitos  father.  His father moved them to the kano region were Aito  was raised for the majority of his life.  It was here at the age of seven that he would begin to get beat,  his drunk father was disgusting and treated pokemon the same way as his son,  terribly.  His own pokemon cowered under him and when Aito wasn't around he would beat them in to looking for him.  They would never return to him until Aito was found.  He was normally found in the safari zone.  

He was beaten like this and forced as a slave of until he was 13, he ran from his father and hid in the safari zone,  his father's pokemon found him but this time the poison master and ninja of this town,  the gym leader Kong,   found and saved the young man.  As if fate had found his way.  He would break down and reveal his past and story,  his story was written all over his body in cuts and bruises.  The ninja January left him waiting and within an hour had returned,  his father's pokemon followed behind and the child trembled.  Aito did not feel terrified of his father's pokemon,  he had felt sorry for them and could relate.  They were free and happy... The ninja had saved them and in turn saved aito.  His father had been arrested under order of the gym leader of abuse.  The shinobi  of poison would then become his teacher and friend...  And family.

He trained with Koga and his daughter Janine, the two most noted ninja in the world, as of his 16 birthday he watched as his friend and sister Janine became a powerful pokemon trainer,  he had yet to connect to to a pokemon like she had and he had only focused on training  himself while watching Janine,  a powerful girl whom had been given the title of gym leader due to kogas disappearance.  Aito one day was exploring,  and as he was out his destiny called.  He felt drawn to an area and found a unique green egg that would be that of a spinarak,  as the egg and the ninja bonded it would hatch In  his company and be named silk.  This was the first bond.  Over the coming years the two would train to become one,  eventually at the age of 18 bidding goodbye to there surrogate family leaving with such a vibrant look on his life and past,  he had studied with gym masters but battles like that were not for him.  He had decided to hold his title as a Contest master,  he would make his surrogate family proud and hopefully find his father.

Driven and determined to complete each task to the best of her ability she will never let her trainer down, especially if her trainer happens to be rather rich as this pokemon loves the luxurious life.

Everything seems to be in order except the level of the pokemon, i dont think you are able to start out with such an high level pokemon. :)

I asked about and was informed that I could start with a pokemon at level 25

I apologize for the wait, though I'm not a big fan of so many connections to already cannon characters, so long as it isn't exploited, things should be fine.
