Subject: Ryon's and the 5th badge Mon Nov 25, 2013 2:11 am
Ryon walked into the town, looking around and getting adjusted to the city that is Celadon. Interested in its cosmetic appearance, Ryon decided to explore around the town, while also look for new pokemon to find. Along the way, Ryon came across a _______ (inb4 we don't do that anymore, and I look dumb XD)

OOC: Doragon, could you edit your signature? Please remove or separate the retired from the actives. Thank you.
IIC: Between the dark alley of two buildings where the sunlight can't reach, two round red eyes all aglow seem to be in it. Hiding like some creature in a horror movie. Around those eyes, seem to be a shape of a skull. That of which a Duskull has.
A whistling tune of a grass flute can be heard from behind. There should be a Nuzleaf atop a light post having a good time like a bard.
Near an old building from a distance, hovers a Shuppet up and down and peering at every single window.
To the far left of Ryon is a Luxray face to face with a Xatu. Obviously taunting the peaceful and solemn Xatu.
Duskull: Level 4, Male Nuzleaf: Level 18, Male Shuppet: Level 14, Female Luxray: Level 30, Male Xatu: Level 27, Male

Ryon, enjoying the scene, decided to test his mettle versus the taunting and cocky Luxray, always liking lions, Ryon decided that it was his best intention to catch the Luxray, with his lacking of an electric pokemon. the scheme of his pokemon, his only three strongest were pidgeotto, charmeleon, and ivysaur. Since pidgeotto stood no chance, and charmeleon was already about to embark on a fight versus the grass gym, Ivysaur was the best choice. "Go, Ivysaur!" Ryon sent out Ivysaur in the spot between the Xatu and and Luxray. "If you're looking for a way to show off your strength, then I'll be your opponent!" Ryon said confidently, standing behind his Ivysaur, smirking.

The bullied Xatu didn't react to it at all. Just stood still. However, the Luxray was fired up. He slowly turned to the side until he's' facing the Ivysaur. It growled as a yes and suddenly, light blue sparks of electricity appear around Luxray's body. Then, its body becomes surrounded by light blue electricity and it would slam its body into the opponent.

Taken by surprise, Ivysaur was nailed by the electric hit, but thanks to his types, the electricity did less than normal damage. Ivysaur, not too phased by the electric hit, kept its ground, and used vine whip, smacking the sides of the pokemon repeatedly, to try and get it to back off. "Keep it up, Ivysaur!" said Ryon, watching this, knowing Ivysaur had control of the fight so far.

OOC: Your RP thing improved. Nice. :)
IIC: Luxray heard the thumping of the vines. They sounded like belts getting whipped on the ground. He backed off. Before using another Spark.

(Thanks, when i left this site, i rped other places, and adjusted to a higher level of rping XD)
Ivysaur saw this coming and quickly used PoisonPowder, to send a cloud of poisonous spores at Luxray, as he runs through them. Ivysaur got hit, but kept the poison powder in the air around Luxray, to try and poison it.

OOC: Though with all those years, you could've made an even more progress. But still, this is a good improvement you have here.
IIC: The Electric Pokémon basically just rammed in a suicidal fashion upon the release of those poisonous powders and spores. The microscopic poison got inside his nostrils and the innards of his lungs and it spread everywhere. Poison has struck him.
After being inflicted with a status problem, Luxray's eyes glow red and its body becomes surrounded in a crimson aura, raising its attack power. Guts ability has been activated.
He felt the sudden surge of power and showed it by grinning at his foe. He thought he'd take advantage of his raised attack with this upcoming super-effective attack: Fire Fang.
Luxray's mouth becomes surrounded in red-orange flames and it would bite down on the opponent. Fire Fang deals damage and has a 10% chance of burning the opponent. Something that can screw Ivysaur up.

Ivysaur got hit and took major damage, but didn't succumb to the hit overall, nor did he get burned. Ivysaur notices the overly close range and backs away from Luxray swiftly, releasing a Razor Leaf to push away the Luxray.
While this was happening, Ryon was thinking of a plan, noticing grass was doing normal damage, yet Luxray having a fire-type move put him in the advantage area. Ryon remembered though, he's Ryon, he always thinks of something in the heat of the moment, and never any other time, so he continued to watch Ivysaur combat the Luxray.

The sharp leaves sliced through Luxray's body and gave him an improper fur makeover. The blistering pain caused him to fall back a few steps away from Ivysaur. When the sharp leaves were over, he took a moment to shake off the pain.
When the pain slightly faded, the Gleam Eyes Pokémon's body becomes surrounded by yellow sparks as it gathers electricity in its body. Powering up with Charge.
Then, light blue sparks of electricity appear around Luxray's body. Then, its body becomes surrounded by light blue electricity and it would slam its body into the opponent. This time, Spark is used. Its effects should be greater due to the increase in Electric damage by the previously used Charge.

Ivysaur quickly did some james bond stuff, and barrel rolled out of the way, dodging, but did it very unsatisfying and lazy, possibly making all the james bond fans quite mad. But never the less, Ivysaur used Razor Leaf at Luxray again, focused on weakening the pokemon. Ryon's job he gave himself was to watch for Luxray starting to lose its energy, and stamina, and that's what he did.

The Razor Leaf hit. If a super expert were to look at Luxray, it can be determined that he can only take a few more punishments before he goes to sleep. That missed attack from Luxray will greatly affect the outcome of this fight and he knows it. He has one last chance to take advantage of the powered up Electric attack. Again, he Charges before tackling with Spark.

Ivysaur prepares to dodge, but Ryon quickly analyzes the attack and his Ivysaur and smiles "Don't dodge Ivysaur, infact, Use Take Down on the Luxray, play him at his own game, and don't lose, show him what our team really is made of!" says Ryon, his spirit on fire, as Ivysaur smirks and rushes, gaining speed and leaps, using Take Down on the running Luxray, who's using spark at the moment.

Luxray was surprised by the counter. Such unpredictability and balls they both have. The two bulls hit each other. Though, Luxray's unsure who received the more damage. All he knows is that he's hurt, and he's getting weak. And his boosts have faded away. So, he's back to square one for now.

Ivysaur landed, not only taking recoil damage but normal damage, as he focuses to catch his breath, thinking, as he uses another vine whip to try to get Luxray on his last foot.

The vines spanked his body and made the sound of a whip crackling upon impact on a skin. Luxray drew his last breath before fading to black, fainting.
Ivysaur gained 30 EXP!

(K, what's the rule bout EXP again, how much is needed to level up?)
Ryon, kinda dissapointed about the loss of a Luxray, returned Ivysaur, glad it got stronger, and walked off, to find more pokemon more around the city for different training. Ryon looks around and finds a _______

OOC: You level your Pokémon by gaining EXP equal to your Pokémon's current level. EXP also resets every time your Pokémon levels. Also, were you actually planning on capturing Luxray? Because I'm pretty sure you should've tried to when I said, "he''s getting weak."
IIC: A Beautifly (28 F) and a Dustox (17 M) are flying around near a post. Just having a good time. They look physically bigger than usual indicating that they're at a strong level.
Then, there's this Donphan (26 M)wandering around. A few people are looking at it with troubled faces. Like, "what's that doing in a city?" kind of expression.
A Glaceon (8 F) is lying under a bench. She don't seem to be the type who has a Trainer. Not with the dirty fur and the main obviousness of her being a wild. Probably had a Trainer, then abandoned.

(eh, i tried to beat it down to the last point, but it still is good for almost making venasaur)
Ryon, deciding to get one more pokemon up before he was going to battle the gym, and he decided it was best if it was Squirtle, his lowest, but Ryon walked off, noticing the other pokemon are too strong, except for Glaceon, but he couldn't pick on that poor thing. Ryon eventually found a __________ (you can only make it one, if picking 5 is like, too much for you)

An Ekans is beside a garbage bin not too far away. It has itself coiled up—a position in which it can defend itself from all directions. Its yellow eyes stare intently at Ryon as its tongue flick in and out its large mouth. Obviously recognizing the trainer as a danger. It looks like it can just rear up at any time and bite.

Ryon smiled and sent out his Squirtle, as Squirtle got ready to battle, focused. "Lets do this Squirtle, use a bubble!" says Ryon, pointing at Ekans, as Squirtle fires bubbles at the Ekans.

Ekans was expecting an attack and he was right. He quickly countered with a Poison Sting, white poisonous darts popped every single bubble. Immediately, Intimidate kicked in and lowered Squirtle's attack by one stage. Now that the bubbles are gone, it's his turn to attack. Maintaining his coiled position, he used another Poison Sting.

Squirtle dodged quickly and ran forward, as Ryon, noticing that, as lucky as he was, bubble was not a physical move. "Do one more bubble, squirtle!" says Ryon, as Squirtle fires more of his bubbles at ekans, focused.

Ekans, knowing the Poison Sting tactic worked, did it again. Every bubble popped. And then for the fourth time in a row, he fired those toxic darts again at Squirtle; Ekans used Poison Sting!
