Enzo is highly strategic and has a mind that can process a battle rather quickly, he tries to train his pokemon to utilize their surroundings in the best way possible so, that they can have the upper hand in a battle right from the very beginning by either using the surrounding as a smokescreen to attack or dodge or using them merely to traverse the ground much quicker than they otherwise could on regular ground.

Enzo will protect his pokemon no matter what and knows when to stop but, he also understands when he must go on despite wanting to give up as, he understands that certain pokemon may feel the need to prove themselves or show themselves to be more than just a regular pokemon but, a true asset to the team. Enzo goes by the way of thinking that Pokemon are like people and each has a unique personality which you must play to as a strength and treat each Pokemon as such therefore they can make decisions in a battle just as well as, he can sometimes.

Looks:
Enzo is around 6"2" despite his age, he grew at an odd rate maybe due to his father being 7"0" and his mother being 6"5". He wears blue denim jeans with a black and white checkered belt and a pair of Black and Neon Blue high tops for shoes. Enzo is of an athletic build and is very conscious of his appearance though he may not seem it; not for others benefit but, conscious of his appearance for his own self-belief.

Personality:
Enzo is a highly image conscious guy for his own mental benefit. He is an athletic guy who enjoys being a part of a team and the camaraderie that it can involve. He enjoys traveling with his pokemon who he sees as his intellectual equals and making new friends. Enzo has a habit of free-running to control his emotions only because, he finds it to represent freedom from his troubles. Enzo is a rational guy who rarely ever loses his temper and always tries to talk his way out of a situation rather than fight it out.

Enzo has the basic skills required to survive on a long-term journey including cooking, navigating, swimming and foraging for both stuff to build outdoor shelters if need be and fresh food if need be; which basically means if there isn't a pokemon centre nearby.

Enzo hates to be a burden on people and can sometimes be a bit self-conscious to the point where he may disappear for a while just to gather his thoughts as things tend to build up in his head to the point where he needs to vent and where he needs to be alone to do it. This is also a partial reason for why he doesn't use Pokemon centre's every single time there is one there just for convenience. Enzo is always extremely careful not to offend people as, he knows how it feels due to people having used to pick on him for both his Italian ancestry and his height.

He enjoys catching new pokemon and learning of what they can do and what makes them happy as, a happy pokemon makes a happy partner for him. He can't stand people who use pokemon just for their own selfish gain and it can occasionally push him to a point where he acts on impulse which is out of character for him because he is usually one of the more calm and collected ones when it comes to most things.

History:
Enzo grew up in Vermilion City surrounded by a family that loved him and born into the Acquarone name which is a close family with great ancestral roots and heritage etched into history originating from Italy where he was always close to but never near if you understand the meaning behind that.

Enzo's father was known as the Vermilion titan simply due to his huge size and stature and he was a true pillar of the community in more ways than one. His father was a massive influence on him and worked for the Vermilion security corp that patrolled majority of the port and covered everything from watching for stowaways to ensuring the safety of all the passengers disembarking he was kind of a figure head in the force and acted as a guardian his presence usually being enough to put off any people from committing crimes. He taught Enzo self defense, how to work his pokemon and many other useful skills that he would need loving his son more than anything else.

His mother was also incredibly tall but she worked as a teacher at a school within the city which Enzo attended she was more of the circulated intellect this being the more known and commonly seen information that could be distributed freely this making Enzo quite intelligent and covered a lot of bases she was a very caring and nurturing mother always the first to check on him when he was feeling down and could help with many a situation that his father could not. Enzo loves his mother as she was the one that brought him into the world and it is something he never ever takes for granted despite their occasional arguments they may have over the silly little things.

Enzo was the run of the mill sort of guy who'd always help out and wouldn't be a burden; he got a job as, soon as he could and he always made sure he paid his fair share for pretty much everything that he could. Enzo was out one day running an errand for one of his grandparents Elessio his Grandfather when he ran into his father Constantino who was carrying something in his arms; upon closer inspection it appeared to be... a pokemon; one which was native to the region but from the looks of it was a water type when he asked his father said only one thing "This is your partner the one who will watch over you even when I'm not here and he will protect you when I cannot. His name is Corphish and he shares the similar spark that I see in you so, promise me this you will never leave him and he will in turn never leave you my son" putting Corphish down and kneeling in front of Enzo stroking his cheek before walking off to continue his various jobs around the city.

Enzo worked with Corphish every minute of every day for the year as, he knew that his father and his mother had been planning something special for him and could change his life for the better. He went out with Corphish every day; he maintained his status as a local saint in a way and was always available when wanted knowing he must make the most of every moment he had left within the city.

One day Enzo returned home from school, on his birthday to find his entire family in the house as, people knew his family were difficult to fit in just one room at least all 35 together. On a table there was a box and behind the box and the table were his father and his grandfather known as heads in the Acquarone family. They called Enzo forth for a ceremony which each and every Acquarone goes through at some point in their life usually sooner rather than later.

Enzo stepped forwards to the table and bowed before lowering himself onto his knees in front of the low table the entire family apart from Elessio and Constantino following suit and Elessio speaking up "Enzo you my boy have an infinite untapped potential which will only grow but, will not be realized until you finally complete a task which none of us ever could. You must bring honor to the Acquarone family name and unify the gyms of our world through the bond between you and your pokemon of which you will now form" he then opened the box on the table and revealed that it was filled to the brim with hundreds of pokeballs each with a unique pokemon with it's own individual personality.

He then looked to his father who took over "You must now draw 2 pokeballs from this box in the blind trial that destiny uses to guide you along the path to greatness so, my son now make your choices and be sure of the ones you make" Enzo slowly looked back to the box and raised his left hand mirroring the movements of his Corphish who was by his side the whole way and selected the pokeballs individually placing each into a special podium on the table until he finally had his 2 to complete hit team. Elessio then proceeded to close the box and tapped the top of each podium before announcing "These pokemon now carry the Acquarone name as I fill them with the essence that we are. Reveal to us your pokemon and complete the ceremony tying yours and their fates for eternity"

Enzo slowly took each pokeball and one by one he pressed the buttons unveiling his pokemon in a line up on the table going from left to right; his Corphish, Magby and Shieldon. Enzo lit up at the sight of his family's new extensions and bowed to his father and grandfather saying "I thank you for this great honor and wish only that whilst I am away you maintain your health and look after Mother and everyone else" the two heads nodded in recognition of Enzo's request and he returned each and every single member of his team except for Corphish to their pokeballs. Then latching them on his specialist belt which carries the family's crest of a, Staraptor on a shield with an arrow in it's beak.

He got up and slowly left left the room and the sea that is his family parted to form the route to the door, Enzo leaving but as, he did so he turned around collected his bag which was pre-packed with all of the things that he'd need and raised his left arm beginning a speech "Porterò il nostro nome e fanno onore ai nostri padri, nonostante la nostra separazione ci rimangono collegati e che rimarrà tale fino al giorno in cui siamo lasciare questo mondo. Acquarone, forte e vivere in ciascuna delle memorie che condividiamo" then bowing calling out "Acquarone!" his entire family joining the chant whilst he leaves calmly without any fuss starting to make his way to the location of the first gym his father had told him to visit; the Pewter City gym.

Shieldon is more of a brute force battler and will do whatever it takes to win a battle for Enzo; He never gives up no matter what.

You may only have 2 pokemon in your trainer's party, and their combined levels may not exceed a sum of 25. Even if we were gonna give a bit of administrator permission, that's stretching up to 6 pokemon in total with a grand level total of 75... So really, the template has 3x the limit permits, and probably 1.5-2x more than an admin permission could grant up.

I have followed the rules to the tee in the past and have full respect for the rules. I have created many a trainer without trouble and this is like my 40th Trainer.

I also believe there was once a rule which I wasn't aware had changed that allowed this occurrence if you had explained the way you'd gotten them well enough and made it that the amount you were able to have pokemon parallel to the quality of the rest of the app to which I count 18 Paragraphs or thereabouts with decent vocabulary maybe poor use of punctuation but, otherwise fine.

Mark, I understand that you're an administrator who has been here a while; in addition to that, I understand that you've created many trainers in the past with great stretches to the limits; however, the old rules are not the current ones. There was, in fact, if I remember correctly, a rule stating that the better you explained the more you could have and that having administrator permission could grant you further stretch in the limits most would follow. That just isn't the case anymore.

The rules now state that you must have, at maximum, 2 pokemon summing no more than level 25. These are the current guidelines, and though administrator permission can give a light stretch, it just can't be spun to give a large increase such as the one the application exhibits. There are no written rules for this moment about explanation, and I doubt that there will be, as that just asked for abusage of the rule for highly-powered trainers (which is now actually limited by another rule saying to not power-play the creation).

Even for a staff member these rules can not be spun or lifted, even in the lightest. We set the example and have to follow regulations like anyone else.

I know but, I didn't realize the changes had happened. Though the Explanation to Pokemon Ratio rule was still in force but, baffled D:

Changing my pokemon to remove would completely change the history I guess as, a ceremony for choosing one pokemon would be ridiculous.

Catching these pokemon from the wild they may not carry the personalities I've taken the time to write out and fit in with my characters story.

Wait we made these changes in June? Crap man course I didn't see that they'd taken place. May/June/July were my GCSE Exam Months I wasn't around when the changes were made as, I was busy studying and going through the most important exams of my life. Ahhhh.

I thought due to the experience and the lack of knowledge of the changes to the rules I could get an exemption ticket simply due to the fact it's 18 well written paragraphs how many people do that. Heck how often do I do that. I would've been against the rules changes not due to this but due to the fact that the Writing quality+quantity should be directly parallel to the rules regarding the number of pokemon a member may receive

I'm sorry; even though I really do wish I could just pull an exemption ticket, I cannot; not seeing the rules having changed isn't a justifiable reason for giving a really large increase and making things unfair for the other trainers.

In regards to the writing quality and quantity, feel free to make it a suggestion or a rule revision idea in SO (obviously everyone knows there's a staff forum here like anywhere else). That can be discussed as a possibility there.

I'm apologetic that your character application is gonna be stung by the current rules, but perhaps you can, in some way, modify it to stay as it is but lower the number of pokemon (and thus the levels) so that it can be approved more easily.

Yeah ok with the Admin permission what would the slight increase be? Like 3 pokemon equaling level 30 or something?

Also it wouldn't have been unfair on other trainers as, I would only have been traveling with Miles and I would still have been weaker than him.

Mark, trainers are created by many users. A portion of these new trainers are from new members of the forum; it would be completely unfair that, just by being a staff member and more experienced user, the rules were bent or lifted so that you can travel with Miles, no matter if the trainer in question is a little weaker than his trainer. With administrator permission, I could see a boost of 3 pokemon totalling a max of lvl 30-35 or a very miniature approval of a shiny pokemon being included in the party.
