Battle Style: Nicoletta has a more attacked based style. Hitting her opponent is a goal for her in each battle, and it gets the job done. Defense or weakening her opponent's stats would never come across her mind, unless really needed.
Looks: A little lady standing at 5'4", Nicoletta has a small build. She has pale skin and long, auburn hair that is usually tied into a loose and messy bun. Her eyes, a warm brown, always show a look of determination and a cocky grin is always set in place. Nicoletta usually wears a mossy-green, long-sleeved shirt along with an oak-colored, knitted cardigan that's paired with jeans and combat boots. A green beret is a trademark of hers, alongside her barrettes that hold her bangs in place.

Personality: Hot-headed, stubborn and tomboyish. Those three words would be some of the few words that you would hear when someone is asked to described Nicoletta. She entitles herself to her opinions, and gets ticked when she's dared to be told she's wrong. Anything can set her off; Nicoletta's basically a living grenade. She's very blunt about things, and tends to be very rude to people she doesn't trust or know that well. She doesn't exactly care what others think of her more or less. Growing up with four, older brothers doesn't really help with her attitude or ego, and they are pretty much the reason she's not the most feminine thing in the world.

Just because Nicoletta grew up with a family of dudes and acts so much like one doesn't mean she's sloppy. Haha, nope. She has to be the most cleanliest clean-freak person on the planet, next to her mother of course. Her brothers' bedrooms are a wild swamp compared to hers. Nicoletta literally likes to alphabetize the fridge every month. She loves helping her mom clean the house. Yet because of this OCD-like ring to her, it makes a little bubble of annoyance pop when she sees a dirt smudge on the floor, or when there's a wrapper that somehow ended up in Nicoletta's drawers ("Thank you, my dear brothers.")

Nicoletta's a "bit" bossy at times, the certain thing about her that makes her act so independent. She loves being in the lead, and would jump for joy when she's made in charge. This makes her usually on other people's to-avoid list, but of course Nicoletta doesn't care. But deep inside, she secretly hopes for at least someone to get through her haughty exterior and to dig in to find the loyal and friendly character she really is. Though that loyal and friendly persona is very clumsy and gets flustered easily, but Nicoletta tries to hide that part.

She has a thing with Pokémon, having both her parents being Breeders. Instead of being impatient and acting all rowdy, Nicoletta acts more gentle and kind. Being with Pokémon makes her feel like she's free from being labeled, and Nicoletta adores the feeling. Even though she doesn't aim to be a Breeder, she sure knows how to be one. Because of the sudden change of behavior, Nicoletta has become very close to her Cherubi.

Nicoletta admires experienced and hard-working Coordinators, as their passion of being a Coordinator just makes her goal become clearer: To be the most successful Coordinator that she can (and will) be.

History: Nicoletta practically grew up with Pokémon. Born in Hearthome City, her mother and father, Wendy and Nicolas, were both Breeders, and both loving their jobs. Usually, their home was filled with different Pokémon, left and right. But Nicoletta's favorite out of all of them was a certain Cherrim named Kanon, her father's first Pokémon while growing up. She had a close relationship with the female Pokémon, but alas, she was too young to have a Pokémon at this time. Wendy and Nicolas taught her the basics of taking care of Pokémon, and how to help them look and do their best.

Don't think she was an only child with only Pokémon as her friends though. Nicoletta had four, older brothers, all whom have teased her and embarrassed her in public before. Yet, in Nicoletta's opinion, the worst one was Scott, the eldest brother at age seventeen. He had bullied her in some of the less-than-worse ways possible, and Nicoletta's has the biggest grudge on him. Not a day ended without a Scott versus Nicoletta bickering, and the whole family was used to it by now. Ten years isn't a long time... Is it?

School wasn't something that Nicoletta looked forward to at all. She usually left that to her fifteen-year old brother Wallace. Academically and socially, Nicoletta would get big, fat "F"s in each of those. Her big attitude and ego didn't exactly help with the teachers, and her apparent bossiness did not help with the other kids deciding to get close to her. The closest thing she had to a friend was a boy named Ty, but he quickly moved away after the first week of the year because of his dad getting a new job in Sunnyshore. Because of how most of the school had judged her as a bossy and over-self-esteemed, Nicoletta usually shut most people out, not caring if she had four "D"s in Math or an "F" in Science. Why would she need any of that stuff when she was going to live a life filled with Pokémon?

One day, an odd and pondering event happened. Kanon was sitting down with an Egg, seemingly glaring at whomever decided to near in. Nicoletta bounced at the thought of Kanon having a baby Pokémon. It turned out that since Nicoletta's 11th birthday was closing in, Nicolas decided to breed a Pokémon for her; especially one with the blood of her close friend. Soon the Egg hatched into a little Cherubi, and Nicoletta treated it with tender, loving care. The two became inseparable, and Cherubi brought out a sweet and loyal character that was hidden within Nicoletta.

Nicoletta had an older cousin named Terra, an intermediate Coordinator nearing the age of sixteen. She didn't really like Terra because she was so vain and obnoxious, but Nicoletta's dear mother Wendy thought it was "an absolutely great to watch her Contest in Hearthome!" Of course synchronized groans were heard from the rest of the family, but it didn't exactly take long for Wendy to threaten them no candy for a month to go to the cursed Contest. After that reluctant agreement, they all took their seats at where the Contest was being held.

Maybe it was how each Coordinator seemed to have fun in the Contest, or maybe it was the bright look in each Pokémon's eyes, but Nicoletta soon became entranced in the show. She just admired the way they all showed their passion in each move and action. Nicoletta soon set a certain goal for herself; she was going to be a Coordinator.

Later that day, Nicoletta wrote in her journal (because "diary" was too girly) about this newfound dream of hers. Soon the boys, Scott, Wendell, Wallace, and Chris, skimmed through the prized possession of their sister. Nicoletta found out the next day, and started screaming at them, tears starting to well up in her eyes. Instead of teasing her, like they usually would, they all gave her the same, cocky grin that they all shared.

"Nico," the boys started in unison, Scott leading them, "Just follow your dream, stupid." And so she left with five Pokéballs from Scott, a messenger bag from Wendell, a plethora of apples from Wallace, and a pat on the head from Chris. Cherubi was content in the sixth Pokéball as the duo left for a Coordinator adventure.

Personality: A gift from Nicoletta's oldest brother, Cherubi is a very laid back and mature Pokémon. She goes with whatever's happening around her, and this balances Nicoletta's "I'm always right" personality. Cherubi's a bit lazy, but when in battle she tries her hardest.
