Battle Style: Bright learns from his mistakes, so much so that he doesn't have any specific battling style, preferring to stick to a basic formula and use type advantages or certain moves to move the battle into his favor. His pokemon team is usually balanced out, unless he is taking on a gym, where he tries to pack his team with as many type advantages as he can to increase his odds of winning. Even though he is a growing trainer, he focuses a lot on catching pokemon he's never seen before, and as such, he's got a catch 'em all attitude along with a gotta win mentality.

Personality: Bright is very sentimental, which is shown as he takes pride in his name, which was given to him by his father, to much protests of his mother. Even though the name seems a bit dorky, this trainer holds it close to his heart as a final gift from his late father. Bright is absolutely fascinated with pokemon, and even applied to be an assistant to Professor Oak to learn more about them. He is very excitable, as well as oddly curious. He loves pokemon battles as well, even if at first he seemed a bit wary of them. Although he does like pokemon battles, he hates seeing his pokemon badly injured, and will try to heal them as soon as possible. Bright is a bit of a dork when it comes to pokemon, and he can't help but correct a mistake when it presents itself. He's also got a tendency to sneeze uncontrollably when hit in the nose.

History: Bright was born in Twinleaf town, nothing really special about his past life in particular. After he was born, his father left his mother for unknown reasons. When he was nine years old, he attended a pokemon training course where he learned the basics of pokemon, caring, battling, capturing, etc. When he was old enough, he got his trainer's license. Unfortunately, when he went to get his pokemon, there were none available. This made him very discouraged...until the one day when a trainer from Unova came to Twinleaf to start his own journey. A pokemon from his team was a newly caught Emolga, which took to Bright much better than the trainer, so he was allowed to keep her. Bright named the young Emolga Lucky, for he was indeed lucky that he was finally allowed to become a trainer!

But like they say, you're not best friends unless you argue a little bit. She sometimes has to shock Bright to get him to listen, which she's not afraid to do, as she's a little bit shock-happy.
