Ruby and Crystal Nuzlocke

Call me ignorant whatsoever but I don't know everything about Nuzlocke rules and never really cared about it until now. I'm planning on playing a Ruby and/or Crystal Nuzlocke. Can anyone care to explain this shit? I might also post my journey here or something.

Traditional. Nuzlocke rules are very simple.

1. The only Pokémon you can catch is the first one you encounter en route, aside from duplicates (only after obtaining pokeballs, obviously),

2. If a Pokémon faints, it is considered "dead" and must be released, or put in the PC indefinitely.
