Battle Style: Learning from every battle, Brandon does not have a specific battling style. He's smart enough to use type advantages and is able to create some decent strategies from what he's got, but he's not that much of a planner.

Personality: Brandon is initially shy when first meeting him, and seemingly awkward because of his inability to speak. Brandon's got almost no experience with the outside world, staying to his hometown, Geosenge, making him nervous about going into strange places. When he gets out of his shell, either by having friends close by or when the moment calls for it, Brandon is a caring, sensitive boy. Brandon is good at showing his feelings through his actions, lacking the ability to speak. On his face is usually a smile, but something in him changes when he battles. The usually shy, nervous boy becomes more focused, and he feels lifted somewhat, as if battling gives him an entirely new persona.

History: Brandon's life was standard for any young boy living in Geosenge, and he actually used to be an active child. He'd climb up trees and run around the whole town, being a naturally hyperactive child. What he loved most though, was competition. Anything like running from one side of the town to the other or a game of rock-paper-scissors got him hyped up even more than usual.

Brandon's hyper personality changed when he lost his voice permanently. Nobody knows exactly what had happened, but when he had been yelling at the top of his lungs one day his voice decided to take a road trip. Since then, he'd gotten more quiet than usual, until he stopped playing around like he used to. Brandon became the indoors-y type, reading books and things instead of running around. His parents decided to introduce him to pokemon, giving him his first partner, an Eevee, when he was only eight years old.

Brandon loved his Eevee dearly, nicknaming it Nakama. He started to research pokemon more, having nothing else to do other than that. His pokemon was the only one who could actually understand him through his feelings, through his bond. When he became ten, he learned about pokemon battles, and his competitive instincts kicked in again. Quickly learning how to battle, he and Nakama became an unstoppable team...at least, in Geosenge. After a couple of months, Brandon and Nakama got bored of the battles in his hometown, but he was too scared of going out on a journey. It wasn't until he was given a reason to by Prof. Sycamore, who said that he could go out and catch all the pokemon for the pokedex, even allowing him to enter to Pokemon League if he was interested.
