Battle Style: Max tries to stay balanced in his battle style, but it never ends up well. He likes to hang back and analyze the situation first, but sometimes he forgets and just goes with his instincts. Surprisingly, that usually turns out to be better for him.  He always tries his hardest, and refuses to push his Pokemon beyond their limits.

Looks: Sorry for the bad quality, drew it myself. Max is seldom seen without his sky blue parka. No-one really knows how he stands the heat (it's really well ventilated), but the fur lining it is bright white. Max has brown hair and blue eyes, almost the same color as his parka. His parka has an incredible amount of pockets. Max's clothing choices always include a pair of cargo pants(MOAR POCKETS!) and a black shirt under his parka. Did I mention how he loves pockets? His backpack(not pictured sorry) is a dark green, and is the most pocketed thing you'll ever see. He often looses things in his backpack just to find them a month later.

Personality: Max is one of the most friendly people you'll ever meet. Ask anyone, well, anyone good. Max has, shall we say an "extreme aversion"(read: total and utter hatred) towards anyone and anything that causes harm to Pokemon or people. His path is that of light, and you would not do well to cross it. If there is something bad happening, Max will do all in his power to prevent it. He loves be a cause of happiness for people or Pokemon, or just be nearby happy people. He sometimes makes rash decisions, but only because he's impatient and wants to get to wherever he needs to go. He hates to let people down, and often apologizes too much. Easy to befriend, Max is loyal and trusting.

History: Max's father was an Aura Trainer himself. The two of them, plus Max's step mom, brother and sister lived in Snowpoint city. At the age of ten, Max displayed his potential to become an Aura Trainer, like his father. He practiced daily for the next six years, but never showed any progress. He refuses to give up though, and treasures his limited ability. He never knew what happened to his mother, and his father would't say. He spent his time playing with the wild Pokemon near the temple. They were actually very nice, and never really got angry. Except for once, a Snover went wild, and charged Max. With his limited abilities, he didn't have enough time to concentrate with his power, and there wasn't enough time to dodge. A flash of blue jumped in front of him, and a Riolu stood in the path of the Snover. Max took this instant of time that had been given him an concentrated with all his might on the Snover, trying to communicate with it(he wasn't even sure if Aura Trainers could do that), trying to calm it down. In the end, he succeeded, but the Riolu was badly injured. Max gently picked it up and hurried it to his home. His father and step mom worked really hard and the Riolu survived, luckily. When it woke up to see Max by his bedside, he knew that they had a bond. Max didn't know if Riolu could understand him, and he couldn't seem to call up that power again, but he asked Riolu to be his partner. Riolu nodded vigorously. Max pulled out a Poke Ball and thus aquired his first Pokemon at 14. At 15, Max was distraught to learn that they were moving. They packed their bags and set out for Littleroot town of the Hoenn region. As a 16th birthday present, his Dad gave him a Pokedex and permission to leave on a journey across the region.

Personality: Totodile is just a lost little baby, and still learning all about the world. He seems to be nervous about people and Poke Balls, a hint at an unhappy start to life, but he's giving Max a chance to turn it around for him. His love is endless, if Max can show him enough affection.
