Personality: Emalia has always been competitive, always challenging other kids to races or other petty competitions as a child. She tends to get herself in over her head and pout slightly when she looses. Other than that she's a rather nice girl. She minds her manners and usually greets others in a friendly way. Though she gets rather mad at Burst on occasion.
History: Ema was born in Saffron City where she grew up watching trainers battle often. At age 10 she saw a man fighting, watching as his Blaziken dominated other pokemon and decided that she wanted a fire type pokemon when she got older. When she turned 13 her father surprised her with a Vulpix, which she named Burst. For a year she kept it as a pet. It wasn't fond of her, though her father said it would warm up to her.... It didn't. Finally deciding she wanted to go on an adventure at 14, she is now about to leave home with Burst at her side.
