The Light That Pierces Darkness

Imagine a world. A world cold and dark from the absence of light. Absence of a Sun. The world of Avelugh deals with this on a daily basis. With sight being a basically useless sense, half of the denizens of the world lost the ability and enhanced their others, such as hearing, smelling, feeling, tasting. The people grew somewhat grotesque, not pleasant to look at, but they didn't care. Beauty was actually looked down upon, while senses were what they judged their mates by. However, there were a group of people that maintained their humanoid figures. Beautiful extremists, the Royal Family. The Royal Family was a small group of Avelugians that have the best senses of all the planet, while maintaining a human appearance and an added sixth sense. How did they maintain this, you may ask? They harvested the power of the Core of their world, using the energy to fuel their lives. Whenever a beautiful baby is born to the world, they are adopted into the Royal Family and raised to be perfect. There is one area in Avelugh that no one outside of the Royal Family dares to go. The Glow-Rift. This rift is where they shove their criminals and executed so they die. However, they were unaware that it was actually a portal to the "Sun World", an alternate version of our Earth. Upon this discovery, they grew angry and began to discriminate against these people and forbade them from entering. Meanwhile, the Sun World people wished to overtake Avelugh for their untapped resources. A war will be starting soon. Will you continue it, or will you fight for peace?

Personality: Jase is a very kind hearted person who dislikes causing people harm but will to protect people he cares dearly and wants to bring peace to the two worlds. Though when heis protecting he is very quick to anger and will not hold it back and thats when he can use his 6th sense.
Short History: Jase was taken into the royal family when he was very little and lived peacefully and always took a peaceful way out of fights and stuff and when the worlds went to war he wanted to bring an end to it with peace.

Appearance: With flowing brown hair down to her knees, and vivid blue eyes, almost a jewel blue, Ivy could be described as pretty. Usually letting her hair open with a ribbon to keep her front flicks in place and white attire, she is an ordinary person. Wouldn't really stand out in a crowd.
Personality: Frigid on the outside, but unexpectedly warm on the inside, once anyone gets past her cold exterior, they would find a good friend residing in Ivy. Her outlook is somewhat warped but she can be easily influenced. Has pride to some degree, but never looks down upon helping anyone.

Personality: Silphan is cocky, he has no issue with reminding people of his high status and will not hesitate to give somebody an order. But at the same time Silphan is spiteful, he hates people lower than himself, usually calling them Plebs or some other demeaning term. He despises most of his family for not allowing him to ascend to the throne, yet he tries his hardest to hide this. Silphas tends to enjoy the richer things in life, take pleasure in his personal access to higher quality living in general, such as nicer foods and stronger drinks.

Whilst around others of his status Silphan does his best to remain civil. However his thoughts dont end, even while just talking to somebody he is constantly looking for ways to blackmail or undermine them. He seems to be slightly more tolerable with his family. Silphan wants nothing more than to watch the lower people do what they were born to do, die to protect him.

Short History: Having been born as the crown Silphan had been raised to feel special, his mannerisms and looks proving to himself that he was more important than most others. Of course it wasint until he was a bit older did he realize that he would not be the one to be crowned as the next ruler, there were others in line before him. This crushed Silphan, made him feel as if he had been betrayed by his own people. Once Silphan had heard about the war that would soon be ravaging his lands he became excited for it, it was something he wanted to be ashamed of but just couldnt shove his thoughts aside. A war was the perfect thing he needed to find some way to catapault himself into king hood, he just needed to stay patient and be smart.
