Touchdown in Vaniville!

The small plane landed on the outskirts of town, and the doors opened up a few minutes later, letting the few passengers off. Hikari jumped down, and looked around. "So this is Kalos region..." She murmured, then took out two Poke Balls. "Come on out, guys!"
The Poke Balls hit the ground and opened with a pop. Out came her partners, Espeon and Teddiursa. Espeon stretched, and Teddiursa looked around curiously. "First things first..." I mumbled. "I know I need some kind of staff... Maybe there's a forest around here?"

After a few minutes, I returned my Pokemon to their Poke Balls and headed off through Vaniville, not really sure where exactly I was headed. I saw some other kids running around with Pokemon I had never seen before. I looked around hopefully for someone who could point me in the right direction, wherever the right way was.

There was a Boy coming from around the corner. He looked to be a Pokémon Trainer, and he was talking over an Xtransciever. "Don't worry, I'll be over there as quickly as I can It's really no bother. He was walking past Lilli, but he didn't seem to be noticing her. Yet, he seemed to know his way around.

Hikari noticed the boy walk by. "Hey, kid!" She called. "Could you maybe point me in the right way to go? I'm new around here, and I'm kinda lost." She gave him a hopeful look.

The boy stopped and put away his Xtransceiver as Keiko talked to him. "Yeah? What do you need help with?" he said.

"Uh.... You happen to know if there was a forest near by, would you?"

"Well there's a Small Forest in between here and Santalune City. And I think there's an even bigger forest beyond that. Would you like me to guide you to one of them?" said the boy.

"Yes, please!" Hikari (I used the wrong name before) grinned and thanked the boy.

"Okay" said the Boy. And he led Hikari to the gates leading out of the Town. "Anyway, I'm Zach. What's your name?" the Boy said.

"I'm Hikari." She smiled, and followed him outside of town.

"Nice to meet you Hikari...." Zach said, smiling. He looked around the area. It was mainy a walkway that led to the next, bigger town, only surrounded by trees. "Well, it's a small forest, but I don't know how many Pokémon you could find here. Do you wanna look here or go into the other forest?" he asked.

"Actually, I'm trying to find something to use as a staff... I mean yeah, I do need Pokemon, but I'm an Aura Trainer, and I kinda still am working on my powers and stuff..." Hikari's voice trailed off uncertainly.

Zach was confused. "Aura Trainer? And what do you need a staff for anyhow?" he asked.

"You don't know what an aura trainer is? Well... I guess its like someone who can see the Aura of people and Pokemon. Yours looks sorta orange. Most Aura trainers have a staff or something like that to channel their powers." Hikari scratched the back of her head.

Zach was kinda lost with Hikari's explanation. "Wait...so you use something like a Tree branch to use Magic Tricks? And what do you mean my Aura is orange...I'm not bad, am I?" he asked.

"Well.... Something along the lines of that... But you aren't bad at all. Everyone just has their own aura, and some people have different colors than others. Yours doesn't seem bad at all." Hikari smiled reassuringly.

"Oh..." said Zach. He blushed and smiled, then looked down and chuckled.

Hikari tilted her head. "Whats so funny?" She asked with a grin.

"Well...I've never had my...Aura, read before..." Zach said, with a giggle.

Hikari giggled a little. "Haha, I see." She smiled.

Zach smiled back. "So, uh...you said you're looking for a stick?" he finally said.

"Um.. Yeah. Some sort of staff. Like I guess a good branch." Keiko said, not really entirely sure but just trying to go along with her gut instinct.

Zach took her hand and lead her to a pile of branches that have been chopped off the trees. "Why not take some of these?" he said.

"Hm..." She bent down and rummaged through the pile of sticks. Hikari eventually pulled one out that was about as tall as her shoulder, and smooth. She held it for a moment before standing up, and twirled it around for a second. "This one feels right."

"Okay then." said Zach. "So uh...how would you like for me to take you into Santalune City?"
