Rank: Trainer
Birthplace: Lavender Town, Kanto

Looks: Slightly under-average height than most his age, Demon possesses a stocky build that makes up for it. As well as that, a thick, spiky crop of black hair adds a couple inches to his overall appearance, giving the impression of height that isn't there. White sneakers dyed black, a pair of black cargo pants, and a black t-shirt with a Dusk Ball logo on the front left breast and most of the back. These logoss go unseen for the most part, however, because a dark red jacket and black backpack are generally on equip. Around his waist, a belt the same color as his jacket is generally found to hold the pokeballs for his current team. He also has dark green eyes and pale, caucasian skin.
Personality: The first true fragment of personality that formed for Demon was a negative attitude toward living creatures, namely pokemon, and to this day, it still exists as a shadow in his mind. However, he fears this side of his psyche, and does everything he can to lock it away and ignore what it says. Instead, Demon strives to be a benevolent soul to all, caring for and building relationships with Pokemon instead of mistreating them. Likewise, he tries to be as kind and helpful to humans as well, forgetting grudges and moving past obstacles with as much flexibility as possible.
History: Demon was born in Lavender Town to a family of Ghost Pokemon experts. Although Demon was an only child, his parents had an assortment of pokemon from the tower and the surrounding areas, giving him many forms of amusement. Unfortunately, despite their best efforts, they could not remove the notion from Demon that pokemon were just toys, and thus, he developed a sociopathic attitude towards them. This attitude persisted until he turned 10, and was eligible to receive his first pokemon. Instead of traveling to see Professor Oak, his father told him he could have any pokemon he desired that he owned, as long as he could prove he could take care of it. Despite the plethora of ghost pokemon at his disposal, Demon instead chose his father's Marowak. A female that had just given birth, Demon's father was initially against the decision, but Demon was so adamant about it that he eventually gave in. To prove that Demon could take care of his pokemon, his mission was to climb to the top of the tower. This was the mission of all trainers when they reached the appropriate age in the Ejj household. At the same time, Demon's rival, Engal, recieved his first pokemon as well. Catching Demon before he entered the tower, he pushed Demon away from the door and rushed in ahead of him, determined to make it to the top first. On every floor, Engal left a unique trap to deter Demon or slow him down. To make matters worse, the second floor yielded a different kind of surprise. Marowak's baby had followed them! Agitated, Demon stuffed the Cubone into his backpack and picked up the pace. This entailed forcing Marowak to work at maximum capacity, defeating wild pokemon, chasing away Ghosts, dealing with Engal's traps, and listening to Demon's sarcastic remarks about her poor work effort. By the time they reached the top floor and discovered Engal waiting for them, she was exhausted. As Marowak and Sneasel engaged in battle, the latter eager to battle thanks to a potion or two and Marowak ready to fall to the floor, the cubone found a way to escape from the backpack. “Sneasel, Quick Attack, and keep it coming!” A barrage of black blurs were the last thing Marowak saw, as the attack was repeated over and over again. And Demon.. all he could do was watch as the Marowak was viciously beaten past the point of no return. This was his fault. He didn't buy potions, because he didn't care if Marowak got beat up. He didn't care, and now she's dead. And cubone.. He pulled the pokemon away from the corpse of its mother and held it close. “I'm sorry..” He whispered to the cubone over and over, as Engal ran over, realizing only too late what had happened. “I'll go get help!” He called, returning Sneasel to his pokeball and rushing down the stairs, to the bottom of the tower. Demon curled into a ball, the cubone struggling but locked in his arms. That was how they found him 15 minutes later, still, muttering the same two words still. His father had to carry him home while Engal carried the body of the Marowak. The young boy didn't leave his room for a few weeks after that. He didn't even plan on leaving it when he did, but.. something happened that forced him to, and he hasn't been back since. One night, there was a ruckus in the Ejj household as one of Demon's mother's Haunters brought back the cubone. It was covered in dirt and brandished a new skull helmet, as well as a large, bone club. It struggled to release itself upon arrival, having been calm until that point, and flew straight for Demon, attacking him with the club. There was a rage in it's eye that made Demon fear it would never stop. However, he didn't fight it. He let the Cubone engage him. He wanted to make it better. He'd do anything to make it better. His parents saw that. After a few days, the proposed he set off his journey for real this time. Maybe leave this place and find new memories. He couldn't let this eat at him forever. The cubone jumped at this. There was no way it was going to let Demon leave without him! How else would he be able to smash him in the face with a club? Throughout their brief journey together, they have encountered several wild pokemon, and even found a TM.
