Personality: Asuka is a cold, serious person. She takes her career as a Pokemon Trainer seriously, and will not stand for anyone badmouthing her skills, or her Pokemon. She looks down on anything that she feels would distract her from her goal of becoming the Champion of all the different Leagues. She looks down on coordinating as worthless child's play and as worthless beauty pageants.

She is a confident person that scoffs at those who doubt themselves, or think too highly of themselves. She believes that a truly good trainer would find a way to win with their favorites, not with something as superficial as strong, weak, or cute Pokemon. She looks down on those who mistreat Pokemon, as well as those who use from criminal purposes.
History: Asuka was born in Lavender Town to two parents who left her at a small orphanage there, one right near Pokemon Tower. As a child, she was rambunctious and rather adventurous, so she always had a tendency to go traveling through Pokemon Tower, not at all afraid of the Ghosts that were there. During the many years she had ventured into Pokemon Tower, she had found a Spiritomb all by itself. Not at all afraid of him, or the reputation his kind had, kept coming back all the time to be nice to, and play with, the Spiritomb.

After the years dragged on, Spiritomb had become a trusted friend of hers, a very close friend of hers. So much so that Spiritomb would usually follow her around all the time in secret, defending her from anyone or anything that might make fun of her, or hurt her. Eventually, when she grew old to leave the orphanage on her own, the first thing she did was get to Pallet Town and get her Pokedex and Pokeballs from Professor Oak, who had allowed her to choose her starter, which she decided on a Bronzor. As she left, Spiritomb had revealed himself to her, and wanted to come with her, so he had allowed himself to be captured by a Pokeball she had thrown at him. Ever since, the three had been inseparable.
