and. it. BEGINS!

Izzi Sighed heavily watching Francis spazzing out at Amaya's Pyra's attmept at being friendly. Also why would Amaya not tell her cyndaquil that Francis was afraid of fire? seems like a thing one would do on a journey, eh whatever. The young girl shrugged and started to stuff her face with taco as her totodile swam glaring at Francis for telling her not to scare the fish away... Saphy do what Saphy want! The totodile proceeded to dive under the water and look for something...

"Amaya, the area isn't that big, relax, Pyra will come back in a minute she hasn't eaten after all." She wanted to keep Amaya's spirits up and after shoving another taco in her mouth and eating it she got up to approach Amaya, "You know Francis, just a bit of a spazz on the whole fire thing... Pyra will be fine once she calms down." she gave Amaya a pat on the back, "Don't get discouraged, it'll make your hair fall out and cause dark circles under your eyes." she chuckled trying to lighten the mood while scanning with her eyes around the area.

It appears York has a bite!

York let out a sigh as he watched the girls run off trying to find the walking fire hazard. He knew he had been rather harsh on the Cyndaquil, but he disliked fire. Still seeing Amaya hurt was rather painful, he hid his eyes from the others. He did feel bad about what he had said, but instead he focused on fishing. When he felt the yank on his line it was powerful enough to shock him out of his reflections for a moment. Pulling back on the line as hard as he could what came out of the water surprised him.

The Staryu already angry at York for hooking it's legs, made a hasty rapid spin towards York. Bracing for an impact that was sure to hurt he almost missed what happened as the attack was intercepted by Zack his chikorita. Who took the blow to his side, and fell back onto a rock breathing slightly heavily from the glancing blow. "Good one Zack, now lets deal with this thing." He said happily. Still holding the Staryu on the line he pointed at it.

"Zack Leaf Storm!" As Zack flipped his leaf back and forth he seemed to summon a very powerful set of razor leaves whirling around him like a small tornado of leaves he let them all fly towards the Staryu, in a wall of green pain that would be unleashed upon the world. "Chika!"

Amaya felt comforted by Izzi's words as she sat there crying. It just hurt to have this happen to her, it hurt to see her Xyndaquil feelings crushed. Her eyes were red from crying, but took comfort in Izzi's words. She wiped her eyes and went back to the table. She was still depressed, but hopefully Pyra would be okay. She did not even feel like eating the food she made for herself, but what did it matter? Sighing she decided to follow suit and grab her fishing pole and silently waited for a bite. She made sure to add some bait and tossed it into water. Not much else to do but silently fish for Pokemon until she got a bite. It was then when she heard a familiar voice.

"Cynda..."

"...Pyra don't run away like that... I know it hurt to be told that but... Pyra what are you doing?"

Pyra was just staring at Francis with glaring eyes at Francis. She went from happily content with Francis to 'you better sleep with one eye open human' look to Francis. Never get a fire Pokemon angry at you! Pyra was plotting her revenge on Francis! And when it happened, the results would not be pretty... If anything it would be explosive.

"...I wonder what I will catch... Hopefully something cute"

Izzi smiled seeing AMaya cheer up slightly before walking back to where her folding chair was and sitting down shovign another taco in her gullet figuring three were enough. "...I sense a great anger." she muttered before seeing the cyndaquil return to camp... flames were not coming out of her back but she could feel the anger and grudge in that small creature. Eeep, i'd hate to be francis. she thought as she relaxed in her chair watching her totodile dive underwater. IT was then that the staryu ws pulled up by Francis' fishing. "oh cool!" she shouted watching the battle unfold between the chikarita and the staryu. Would the creature live? would francis get his next pokemon? who knew? but it would be exciting to see.

Saphy popped her head out from under the water holding a large stick in her maw looking a bit disappointed that the male human was able to pull up the rod with a pokemon attached before she could tie the stick to the end to troll him. "toto.." she muttered muffled by the stick before letting it fall back into the water and swam to shore letting the water just drip off her scales.

Staryu was engulfed by the blast of leaves. It fell from the air and onto the bank. It charged quickly at Chikorita.

There was a tug on the line. Just below the surface of the water a wooper was tugging the line playfully. It shot up a jet of water into the air and splashed around

The Staryu practically ate chikorita's leaf storm, the fact that it was still standing was more then impressive. The fact that it landed and was able to launch it's tackle at Chikorita was even more so. Chikorita took the hit glancing it off his side. York flicked out the Pokedex scanning his chikorita's vitals for a moment, "Doing good Zack, your still in the green no worries." He looked at the Staryu, they weren't exactly rare but he could almost make sure that his two comerades would want something like this. To bad neither of them were the ones battling it.

Instead what was bound to happen here was nothing short of a green leafed massacre of this unlucky Staryu. "This is it buddy, Leaf storm take two." This one would finish it no doubt, he didn't even really know how this water type had managed to keep standing after the first super effective attack, but as the winds changed Zack the Chikarita unleashed the furry of the forest gods, firing leaf after leaf, in a second hurricane of greens. The sprawling burst of green was a loud turrental storm of razor sharp leaves. "Riii TA!"

Amaya felt a tug on her fishing pole which slightly surprised when a Wooper was just happily grabbing the hook she put in the water and was just happily swimming around. The shy girl suddenly looked at the cute thing splashing around and squirting around. Amaya's eyes immediately turned into hearts as she let out a loud squee.

"Oh my god that is so cuuuute<3~! I want him now.... but I don't want to hurt it..."

Amya kept playing with the Wooper with the lure, keeping the cute water Pokemon entertained, but how was she going to get the innocent Wooper without hurting it? Well maybe an offering of food? That would make sense! Amaya slowly reached into her backpack to pull some raw fish for Wooper to eat. She started making a small trail for it to get slowly closer to Amaya...

Izzi could not help but feel left out... here she was sitting in a super duper relaxing folding chair and there her friends were battling pokemon! Like sooo not cool! Seeing that Francis was more into the idea of getting the victory she watched as his chikarita fought the staryu and was impressed by the skill, but he was a bit one-note with his Leaf Storm-gasm all over the poor creature. She would have started fishing as well, but she already had a water type... she did not want to risk the idea of being 'adorable'd into capturing another one! She smiled at Saphy who was just chillaxing in the water as she ignored the shore dwellers and their battles with her Aqua-brethren. She and the totodile were more buddies then partners finding her abandoned and all.

The girl then had to get a weird look on her face when Amaya simply pulled a bit of raw fish from her backpack to lure the wooper... ew! The idea of her just having raw meat in her backpack made Izzi feel a bit queasy for a moment. She shuddered shaking the thoughts away, she was not going to vomit until she got actually sick, which she doubt Amaya would do anything to kill her friends, on purpose... It was then that she saw Saphy take notice of Amaya's fish trail... "Saphy.." her tone was warning laced which caused the Totodile to get a big puffy before scampering over to her trainer. The super adorable totodile then proceeded to jump on Izzi's lap, wet, which made the girl 'gah' before laughing and hugging her wet totodile which was returned with a small tail sway from the creature who enjoyed the hug and not being thrown aside for getting her clothes wet.

The Staryu was engulfed once again in a flurry of leaves. When it subsided the staryu was on the ground barely able to stand up.

Wooper let out a cute "Kya" as it tripped while following the fish trail. It slowly got back to its feet and ate the fish. It walked up to Amaya and rubbed its head on her leg.

York held out his hand as the battle was over, and Zack slapped down on his hand with his leaf, mimicking the motions of a high five. York smiled at a job well done, with the staryu down they could continue their hunt for what they were actually after, and after un hooking the Staryu from his line, and getting the fishing pole out of the water where the starfish pokemon had pulled it. He picked up the somewhat slimy injured pokemon and freezbeed it back into the water so it could go away and hopefully heal up from zack's hurtful assault on it.

York gave a small whistle. "Good work Zack, you  did well." York wasn't the type to finish off a pokemon like that just because he could. No Falcner would have his Pokemon turned to cuttlefish, but a wild staryu... just throw it back, and cast a new line. York flicked his rod back out towards the sea and started to wait patiently. His head bobbed lightly as he started to whistle, Zack let out small 'Chi' and 'Ka' noises almost like he was joining in and singing along. He was careful to be steady with his hands, watching out at the shore, taking note that Izzi's Saphy was being rather affectionate, and the odd attempts to capture the heart of a whooper. He smiled lightly it was a bright day, probably one of the last few they would have in this year, and he was surrounded by two of his best friends. His shoulders relaxed. "On a day like today Zack, I don't think anything could go wrong."

Amaya had to stifle a Kya, because that Wooper was so cute! She wanted the Wooper so bad, but did not want to hurt it! She began to playfully pet the Wooper with her index finger. Amaya did not want to overfeed the Wooper, because that could lead to health problems. However after petting the Wooper some more and hoping not to be bitten, she started to slowly grab her pokeball.

"Do you want to come with me Wooper? We can go around Johto seeing new sights along the way! It will be fun!"

Izzi watched as Amaya attempted to charm the wooper into her life. It was a cute pokemon, something she could smile at, and if she did not already have a water type she would be fishing right along with her friends. She smiled at Saphy who curled up in her trainer's lap looking up at her with those big 'gator eyes. "You're just too cute, Sapphire" Izzi giggled scratching her fingers around the red fins along the totodile's back. Saphy purred out a 'dile...' as she enjoyed the scratching. Both her and the pokemon glanced over at the wooper and then at each other suddenly having a rather dark thought which they shared, "...nah" Izzi snickered which was echoed by the totodile. They would not ruin Amaya's chance for a new friend even if the idea of Saphy kicking the creature back into the water would be darkly hilarious.

"I'm glad you had fun in your battle Francis, Zack did well" she complemented as she leaned her head back letting the sun hit against her fact. It was still higher in the sky, but she knew they would need to head back to Cherrygrove soon otherwise they would have to camp somewhere... Ugh she hated camping in the open, it was just so.. dirty! Sapphire was doing the same as her owner, relaxing and absorbing the sun's rays enjoying the warmth as her eyes were closed.
