Personality: Eric is a very socially awkward individual, having spent much of his life as an unwanted orphan with no friends other than Pokemon. Despite having proper manners and a very thoughtful attitude, he comes off as rude and intrusive, but he has only the best intentions in mind. Though he travels to accomplish much for himself, he also wishes to find true companionship.

Eric can also become possessive over his friends, bordering a near unhealthy point. He worries himself to exhaustion over their safety and often places his self in mental exhaustion, though a simple reassurance that one will be fine will calm him down for a while. He also seems to lack a knowledge of privacy and physical boundaries to a certain degree.

Eric seems to get defensive when people ask about his past. He often leaves vague answers, and only shares what he remembers with people closest to his heart. He seems content leaving people wondering and questioning, though taking it too far may upset him and cause him to go quiet.
History: For what Eric can remember, his mother had been running from something, and when she had given birth to him, she left him alone in an orphanage. For as long as he could remember, he was trapped in a prison where everyone fended for themselves. Though eventually he ran away, he was already damaged by it. Eric came into the hands of Lakeside Town, and was raised by an old couple. He began wandering around on his own and eventually ended up going to the different regions on accident. He was distraught at losing real people who loved him. Sooner or later, Eric returned, but they had passed on. He began traveling again.
