Ryuji is a hard working trainer, always trying to get his pokemon to beat every other pokemon they meet. He can be selfish sometimes, thinking more about the victory than the pokemon. He doesn't care for weak pokemon, he would attack pokemon with all he has to prove his pokemon are the best, but that of course isn't the case. He gets angry at other trainers when they beat him, and would even accuse them of cheating. He does however love his Tepig very much, and wouldn't put a victory over Tepig's safety, but Tepig can be very competitive, so Ryuji allows him to do what he needs too to achieve victory.
History:
Ryuji has always been a normal boy, playing with the local pokemon and stuff. He was always happy and cared for pokemon very much, and when he got his very own pokemon, Tepig, it all changed. Tepig was always looking to battle, and it changed Ryuji's look at pokemon, because he cared for Tepig very much, which is why he battles allot for Tepig now. He and Tepig traveled the regions looking to become stronger, but they never challenged a gym before, Ryuji wanted to make Tepig really strong before they would challenge a gym, and evolve him as well.
