He believes the strength born from it grants his team the edge in battle; with a heightened sense of speed and the perception used to follow it, people and Pokemon alike can overcome certain natural boundaries allowing them to push forward and attain new strength.

Personality: Outwardly coy, sarcastic and at times, rather manipulative. Cassius tends to take advantage of those around him to better situations for himself; although it may seem somewhat cruel, he never acts maliciously nor puts others in danger, merely creates opportunities for himself through the misdirection of those around him. That being said, Cassius is soft at heart beneath the relatively callous exterior and enjoys making genuine bonds with people. Once said bond has been made and Cass has grown to care for a person, his dedication to them is absolute and indefinite.

History: Growing up, Cassius was an introvert like no other; he kept himself to himself at all times and very rarely interacted with anyone outside of his immediate family. This mostly stemmed from how socially awkward the young man could be but also because of the many insecurities that he had harboured within him. Not really being one for image or style, Cass didn't really attract much attention either, a fact that comforted him throughout his early years.

School was a hard time; although Cass came from a comfortable family with steady financial income he often brought his school problems home with him. Compulsory education was a drag like no other for the young man, he buried himself in story books and tales of wonder whilst the other kids went about learning life skills that would later prove invaluable to them. This often lead to a fair amount of teasing and what else could be expected of a child in such a vulnerable state? He would go home and confine himself to his room, often becoming anxious or verbally abusive when his mother or father tried to coax him into explaining what was wrong.

As time passed, Cassius grew bored of computer games and the countless books he had read; with the study of adventures within novels and magazines the lad began to crave his very own, however he had no clue where or how to start, so, in a vain attempt to gain some social awareness, Cass ventured into town and attempted to make a few acquaintances.

Unfortunately, the entire ordeal went disastrously; the first person Cassius encountered being one of the local beauties. In a matter of seconds his cheeks had flushed and stomach dropped, the young one just about made it home in time to barf. This however, did not strangle any future efforts but aided in helping Cassius overcome said fear.

Over the next 8 months Cassius studied dance at his home in Boilspout Town; watching countless hours of videos on the internet and practicing in-front of the mirror he slowly began to master his very own breaking art.

As the moves came so did the confidence to perform, Cass took to the streets and let the music take him to new heights amongst the crowds he had previously feared. There in the depths of social indulgence did his find himself anew.

With his new lease on life found, Cassius grew as a person and began to turn his image around entirely. Before long he had a body to be admired and a face to match after a little grooming and personal effort on his part. The babysteps became leaps as Cassius found himself the center of attention with both males and females as time strolled by, before long he had so much social commitment on his shoulders that the call of solitude felt almost nostalgic.

Naturally, in due course Cassius found himself leaning back into himself a little. Although his cocky attitude and dazzling social charisma remained the young man found solace in alone time too, often creating stories between dance sessions and mapping out adventures in his head.

Noticing the rapid changes that were ongoing in his life, Cassius' mother advised him to seek out a relationship with Pokemon so that he could traverse the lands himself and have his own adventures as opposed to reading about them in books. This sparked the young bucks interest and brought him to the current day.

In possession of his very first Pokemon; an overly energetic Chimchar called Limelight, Cassius was finally ready to make his dream a reality.

Personality: What can be said for young Limelight other than he's possibly the cockiest Pokemon you'll ever lay eyes on! With admirable flare but the ego to match this particular primate enjoys showing off, proving his ability and standing out in any and all crowds. Despite being a little annoying at times, this critter is a go-getter like no other and strives to achieve every single day; unable to back down no matter the challenger, Limelight wants to progress quickly and evolve as soon as possible so that he can be at the peak of his abilities.
